Like a sort of fucked-up marriage of Techno Animal and Terry Riley, the tracks on this short three-tracker by the stirling pair excel at conveying both suspense and minimalism. 'Scoundrel' swerves at a higher tempo, carefully note-adding a crossrhythmic bassline that sounds like a metallic dog chewing on cud. 'Lemurian Blues', meanwhile, echoically places a kick on every eighth note, eschewing the conventions of 4x4 techno for a space-ambient nightdrive.
