Mega rare funk out of San Antonio, Texas. Reginald Milton was only 13 years old and the youngest of 10 children when he recorded this slice of heavy funk, squeezing it in between his homework, swimming lessons and motorcycle riding. Following on from The Soul Clap is Back, the mighty Clap Your Hands was his second single, and both songs feature the heady combination of soul and clapping with rock-solid deep funk backing. Both singles were played on local radio at the time of their release, but sadly failed to hit. However, thanks to a single copy of Clap Your Hands discovered some years ago by DJ Shadow, Reginald Milton has now been found.
