French based reissue record label Into The Deep Treasury has carefully restored and remastered this superb seven track compilation. It is an off-beat dub and exotic journey influenced by several styles of music from pop, to library, rai to disco, all of which had their own impact on the diversity of French culture in the 80's. After the success of the label's compilation from Gabonese artist Francois N'Gwa, Riddim Poetry is another essential album to pick up and dive deep into. Jean Michel Bertrand's 'Dream Reggae' is a perfect summation of the richness of this whole record.
