|1.||Sharon Scott - "Could It Be You" (2:13)|
|1.||Dean Courtney - "We Have A Good Thing" (2:30)|
Some sizzling hot reissue action here, as RCA Victor offers up a pair of in demand dancefloor soul cuts from 1966. Side A offers a chance to grab Sharon Scott's rare and hard to find debut, "Could It Be You", a stomping and uplifting chunk of Detroit style soul that's long been popular within the Northern Soul scene. Over on side B you'll find Dean Courtney's second single "We Have A Good Thing". Curiously, this was only ever put out as a promotional 7" single, despite the quality of its lolloping beat, "wall of sound" style production and Courtney's sweet lead vocal. It's nowhere near as essential as the superb Sharon Scott track, but it's still pretty damn hot.
