The recently found Soul Imago label delivers its first 'various artists' compilation and makes itself known thanks to some help by a rather talented fellow. Soulphiction, founder and label-head of the ridiculously on-point Philpot imprint, comes through with "Swing Low" and it's as jazzy as the dude gets, where nervous piano keys meet a big wood-bass and a little electronic post-production. Also featured are tracks by Russian house aficionado Lay-Far, whose "Looking For Changes" is remixed by Pablo Valentino, Noa Siano's minimalistic "Rhodesy", and the slow-building, chug-alicious "Tokyo Hotel" by Duktus & Blunted Monkz.
