A step up the mutant disco ladder for Tiago is presented in the form of his debut appearance on DFA with "Disambiguation". This track is rare amongst contemporary discotheque fodder in that richness of melody and dancefloor energy are both approached with equality in mind. Formed of beautifully synthesized undulations, bliss inducing orchestral arrangements and subtle electronic modulations account for the former whilst the beat formed of live percussion from Tiago himself ensures the latter. "Nada a Perder (Nothing to Lose)" on the flip proves to be a more menacing, classic house sounding counterpart bursting with layered percussion and overtly dramatic piano tones. A swathe of constantly shifting synth lines run throughout ebbing with twilight energy as the track builds towards a frenetic crescendo.
