Bohemian Grove vinyl

Some two years on from their last outing - the Oceania 12" on M Division - Xosar and Legowelt re-boot their production partnership. Given both artists passion of intergalactic electronics, classic synthesizers and creaky old drum machines, it's little surprise to find Bohemian Groove packed with spacey techno rhythms, glistening electronics and almost suffocating chords. The title track sets the tone, with alien melodies, enveloping chords and fizzing cymbals creating a typically cosmic mood. The spacey theme continues on the deeper, bittersweet "Cumulus Versie", before breaking up the beats a little on the picturesque "Midwest". "Blizzard" closes proceedings with a sweeping combination of Italo-influenced bottom end, melancholic synthesizers and intoxicating electronics.
