Your Fandango (4:28)
Your Fandango (instrumental mix) (4:29)
Review: Rock Hall Of Fame nominee Todd Rundgren is an accomplished songwriter and ever-innovative producer. Here he links up with someone just as talented in the shape of Sparks, who is an eclectic and quixotic creative and pillar of the modern musical world. 'Your Fandango' (served up here on a limited coloured vinyl 7") is the third single from Rundgren's forthcoming Space Force album. It's a wall of sound with space rock riffs, gauzy textures and freaky vocals. After this comes the album with guests spots from Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and Muslim hip hop artist Narcy amongst much more.

Review: This album features Ravonettes unique interpretations of classics by artists such as The Shangri-Las, The Cramps, Buddy Holly, The Shirelles, The Velvet Underground, and many more. The Raveonettes, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, bring their signature dream pop sound to these covers, showcasing their deep-rooted musical influences. The album includes standout tracks like a reimagined version of Gram Parsons' Return of the Grievous Angel' and a lush rendition of The Everly Brothers' 'All I Have to Do Is Dream.' Drenched in reverb and featuring brittle, chiming guitars, their take on the Everly Brothers' classic transforms the sweet '50s ballad into a modern shoegaze epic. Sing... captures the duo's creative energy, paying homage to the gems that inspired their musical journey.

Review: Literally decades long overdue, Volume 3 marks the first new album from Queens, New York hardcore punk heroes Reagan Youth since 1990, following on from their iconic 1984 debut EP Youth Anthems For The New Order, later re-released as Volume 1 with additional bonus tracks, whilst the second volume would be distributed upon the band's initial break up. Inspired by the tumultuous life and crafted as tribute to original vocalist Dave Rubinstein (better known as Dave Insurgent), who tragically committed suicide in 1993 following the death of his mother and murder of his girlfriend Tiffany Bresciani whilst the pair battled severe heroin addiction, the material is further shrouded in misfortune due to the recent death in 2024 of founding guitarist Paul Bakija, who served as primary songwriter working tirelessly on the album for years. Hard-hitting, breakneck paced tracks with zero sign of aging or slowing down, new vocalist Madame St. Beatrice delivers snarling accounts combining rage and earnest concern to a project that many thought would never see the light of day and sadly, literally wouldn't until all original members involved had shifted off this mortal coil.

Review: Decades in the making, Volume 3 serves as the first new full-length from Queens, New York hardcore punk pioneers Reagan Youth since 1990. While their classic 1984 debut EP Youth Anthems For The New Order would later be reissued as Volume 1 complete with additional bonus tracks, Volume 2 would be distributed following the band's initial break up. Crafted and completed by founding guitarist Paul Bakija, before his tragic passing in 2024 following a battle with cancer, Volume 3 is a tribute and testament to the tumultuous life and times of original frontman Dave Rubinstein (better known as Dave Insurgent), who sadly took his own life in 1993 following the death of his mother and murder of his girlfriend Tiffany Bresciani, at which time the couple dealt with severe heroin addiction. Poured over with care from Bakija and led by the feral delivery of new vocalist Madame St. Beatrice, the project delivers breakneck paced, snarling accounts, combining anger and deep concern to a work that ultimately would only see the light of day after none of the original members integral to its make up could live to see it released.

Review: British goth-rock new wave weavers, Rosetta Stone, may have slowly teased out some newer material over the last couple of years, but the 'Demos & Rare Tracks 1987-1989', is very much what it says on the tin. Unpacking early variations of tracks that would pepper their first slew of jangly, gothic musings, with experiments from differing vocalists to disco mixes of cuts, it's a fascinating proto-insight into both the machinations of what made that early material so frosty and endearing, yet indicative of the synthwave direction that would wait for the group down the line.

Review: Rosetta Stone, one of the most enduring bands from the influential second wave of gothic rock, returns with a brand-new studio album called Under the Weather. Known for their dark romance and chiming guitars, the new album stays true to form with lush keyboards and an undercurrent of sinister nostalgia, thanks to bandleader Karl North. Fans can look forward to pre-release singles and a significant media blitz to accompany this album, their first in 4 years. Formed in the 1980s by Porl King and Karl North, Rosetta Stone initially captured the jangly-guitar sounds of gothic rock. Their big break came after supporting The Mission on tour. The band later transitioned to a more electronic sound before disbanding in 1998. Now, gothic mastermind Porl King is back with an album that promises to transport fans back to goth's heyday. Like their namesake, British goth legends Rosetta Stone were pivotal in bridging the gap between the first wave of gothic rock and the emerging underground scene. Their music brought a romantic element to a dynamic era of black fashion and experimental freak culture.

Review: Rosetta Stone's latest studio album, Under The Weather, continues their legacy as gothic rock pioneers. Returning with their signature dark romance, the album features chiming guitars, lush keyboards, and a hint of sinister nostalgia. Karl North, the band's key figure, guides this new release with a refined blend of their classic sound and modern touches. Since their 2020 comeback with Cryptology, fans have eagerly awaited new material, and Under The Weather promises to exceed expectations. This album is set to impress longtime followers and new listeners both with its evocative melodies and hauntingly atmospheric tracks. Review: Repressed to vinyl for the first time since its initial 1991 release, An Eye For The Main Chance was the iconic debut album from homegrown gothic rock new wavers Rosetta Stone. Landing on very appropriate purple vinyl to compliment its iconic artwork, the LP sways with the reverberated, frosted jangling guitar work that served as staple of the late 80s scene, yet evokes a sultry sinister air that would pave the way for their darker, industrial-tinged coldwave experiments. Melancholic, hypnotic and playful in equal measure, this quintessential slice of coldwave goth rock is a classic forgotten to time, and now that vacant, pining spot on your shelf can be fulfilled without taking out a mortgage for an original pressing flipped to high heaven. Be warned, however, act fast or copies of this long overdue repress will suffer a similar fate.
