Review: Repress! Gerard Hanson (aka Convextion, aka ERP) comes with one of his best records - "Vox Automaton". This is more electro influenced than his "Down Low" and "Frantic Flowers" outings. This is the shit for everyone owning a model 500 record or a bunch of Underground Resistance or Derxicya vinyl. ERP stays true to his own sound and doesn't just copy his hero's.

Review: Two Gerard Hanson records repressed in one week along with a new 12"!? Far too much music is getting undeserved hype these days but this is definitely not the case here. E.R.P. aka Convextion is back, this time on the ever consistent Frantic Flowers label (a sub-label of Frustrated Funk you know) with 'Alsoran'. After his brilliant and critically acclaimed self titled album on Down Low Music, Gerard returns with three beautiful techno tracks - so sweet it hurts your teeth!

Review: Convextion here working under his ERP alias on this Down Low release. He presents a six-pack of deeply chilled and beautiful electro-techno, full of euphoric Convextion style strings.

On ERP: If you know your deep techno, if you’re a follower of Basic Channel or it’s American counterpart Deep Chord, if you hunt for those buried treasures the Motor City spits out every so often... then you're sure to be an ardent admirer of Convextion/ERP. On Mariel Ito: Having already made a name for himself as an exponent of some of the most complex, metallic and mashed-up dancefloor beats for the Kompakt-sponsored Treibstoff imprint under the Maetrik tag, Eric Estornel has decided to take things one step further with the creation of a new alter ego programmed and honed for maximum dancefloor decimation.

Review: Sync 24's Cultivated Electronics imprint brings "The World Electronix" series to a fittingly slick climax with this four-track adventure into electro's most twisted pastures. Gerard Hanson's ERP project ignites the show with a heavily textured trip to the most unforgiving peripheries of the cosmos, Sync 24 & Deixis's "Ah Ah Ah" is a full-on acid assault while the bulbous bass and warm kicks on Plant43's "GJ1214b" remind us of electro's undiluted funk roots. Finally Steve Allman closes the show with his Cultivated Electronics debut "Evolution Technology". Stark, slippery and bolstered with bullet-proof beats and a heady, muscular bass riff, it's a fantastic finale to this essential cultivation collection.

Review: The third single release from Hardfloor's most recent album Two Guys Three Boxes comes as a remix package and showcasing the skills of E.R.P., Morphology and Boris Divider. E.R.P dish up some refined electro with a streak of funk for their version, making it a surefire winner for a range of tastes. Finish electro duo Morphology's deeper take on "You Know The Score" plays with sharp drums and twanging samples and subtle synth chords. On the flip Boris Divider goes for a dark, eerie electro journey - hovering pads, dusty samples and bizarre noises lurk at every corner and make it Juno's pick of the remix package.
