Label manager, producer, radio and dancefloor igniting DJ, Preach has achieved international fame in a young but eventful career. With a string of acclaimed releases for Black Hole, InCharge, Intec, Terminal M or his own Relic Recordings, DJ Preach releases a new 2008 remix of his best seller production of 2007 Broken Inside taken from his artist album Transatlantic on Future Beat Instructions (FBI), the techno-centric sister label to Tiestos Black Hole Recordings. In addition, Preach remix of Marcus Schossow Hypnotizer sees the light on Spinnin Records greatest hit compilation available on Juno.
Born Philippe Babin and raised in Quebec, Canada, Preach cut his teeth in Montreal and Quebec Citys dance scenes, DJing regularly at large clubs such as Sona and Aria and releasing for local labels Relentless, Ascend and Edit Recordings. Quickly drawing the attention of global dance music stars such as Tiesto, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk or Marco V, and finding his releases on international labels MB Elektronics, Symbolism or Iturnem, Preach followed his heart and crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Breclav, Czech Republic, in early 2005.
Founding his own music record company that year, Relic Recordings and sub-label Relic Silver house Preachs and Marco Gs productions, respectively, alongside those of like-minded artists and friends. The labels are now among electronic musics most prestigious, featuring acclaimed releases and remixes from Filterheadz, Michel de Hey, Marcus Schossow, Tyler Michaud, Miko, Donald Glaude, Laidback Luke, Marco V, Valentino Kanzyani, Eric Sneo & Jamie Fanatic. The broad appeal of the label, which touches on electro, techno, house, progressive and trance genres, has brought listeners and dancers from many persuasions into the musical world of Preach.
