DJ cartridges
Whether you call it a DJ cartridge or a turntable cartridge, it’s an essential for any record player. If you’re playing vinyl, you need to ensure that you get the best playback quality. The cartridge holds the stylus (or needle) and converts its movement from the grooves into sound, meaning that it’s responsible for the sound quality which feeds into your mixer, amp or speakers.
Whether you’re a serious DJ or a beginner, there are options to suit every pocket, from the industry standard Ortofon Concorde models through to brands like Audio-Technica and Grado bringing their hi-fi knowledge and experience to the DJ booth.
All cartridges offer a way to replace the stylus when it wears out, with some integrating the cartridge body into a tonearm attachment (like the Concorde models) and others attaching to your turntable’s standard headshell. Special scratch versions of some cartridges are also available, designed specifically for turntablists in order to ensure the needle doesn’t skip.

The entire tip of a NUDE Stylus is composed of diamond, as opposed to bonded tips.

Not only the sound output is as close to the SHURE M44 cartridge models but the tracking ability of the J44 performs as the same with sticking to a record groove with high jump/skip resistance and low record wear.
