Effects pedals

There are thousands of effects pedals on offer, with something to suit every budget and every sound. Effects pedals – sometimes called stomp boxes or FX – were originally targeted at guitar players, but now there are options for everyone, including pedals designed specifically for bass guitars, synths and vocals. Old-school effects pedals were typically simple analogue effects like distortion, overdrive, fuzz, wah and flangers. Modern pedals might also include digital processing, unlocking complex reverbs, delays, loopers and modulation effects like chorus. Electronic producers should look out for pedals which can handle line-level signals, making it easier to hook up synthesisers, modular synths, drum machines, samplers and other pro studio equipment. Some pedals even offer stereo inputs and outputs, meaning you can use them on true stereo signals. Whether you’re looking for a cheap, high-quality distortion or a boutique multi-effects unit, there’s something for everyone.

Recovery Cutting Room Floor v3 Overdrive & Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 943119 Rel: 10 Jul 23

An overdrive and delay effects pedal.
Notes: Cutting Room Floor V3 Pedal

(Vintage Reel-to-Reel Tape, Echo, and Stutter)

The Cutting Room Floor has been updated and now has separate controls over the saturation of the input signal and tape delay signal. With this change, it's possible to have any amount of emulated tape saturation on the input signal and an adjustable tape delay level.

Housed in a smaller, compact footprint, the Cutting Room Floor V3 provides beautifully marred saturated tape tone and ethereal repeats. Imagine an abandoned factory with a fluttering tape machine left on infinite replay.

The Cutting Room Floor was designed to emulate the sound and functionality of vintage reel-to-reel tape overdrive and echo. This pedal reaches into the 21st century with characteristics that traverse the world of modulation and delay. Other features include a freeze button that traps a tone while still playing, and expression/CV control for time.

Designed and assembled in Seattle, Washington. Includes a limited 1-year warranty, if registered within 30 days of purchase.

- 150ma current draw

New in V3:

- Independent control of the tape saturation and tape delay levels

- High-quality knobs with textured grip

- Tape reel design lights up when the pedal is on

- Better layout of the knob placement

- Smaller 125B enclosure (4.77" x 2.6" x 1.39")

Boss DM-2W Delay Waza Craft Effects Pedal
Cat: 1030413 Rel: 01 Nov 24

Delay effects pedal
Notes: Now, the legendary analogue delay is back with a modern edge

Ever since being discontinued way back in 1984, the BOSS DM-2 Delay pedal has remained highly sought after by players everywhere for its warm, "bucket brigade" analogue delay tone. Now, the DM is back! With the Waza Craft DM-2W, the coveted stomp has been reborn with switchable sound modes and greater versatility for today's music styles. Using 100-percent analogue circuitry, the DM-2W's Standard mode nails the lush sound and 20-300 ms delay range of the original DM-2. Boss DD-8 Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 996038 Rel: 29 Feb 24

Digital delay effects pedal
Notes: Introducing the DD-8, the most wide-ranging and feature-rich BOSS compact series delay ever. This loaded pedal delivers more of everything-more great sounds, more delay time, more control options, and more connectivity. And it does it all in a standard BOSS pedal that slides easily into any mono or stereo setup. Eleven modes provide delay colours from basic to exotic, plus a looper with unlimited overdub capability and external control support. For maximum versatility in a minimum amount of space, there's no better delay stomp than the DD-8.

Equipped with a diverse selection of delays, the DD-8 packs impressive sonic range into one small pedal. Clean digital delays, vintage analogue and tape types, and modulation echo are available, plus specialty delays like shimmer and reverse. There's a new Warm type for softer echo tones, and a +RV type that blends delay and reverb together. Warp is perfect for dynamic ambient textures, while the new GLT type is great for glitchy rhythmic effects.

Everything sounds bigger and better in stereo, and the DD-8 delivers with full stereo I/O support and your choice of three output modes. The default independent mode provides linked parallel delays on the left and right channels, allowing you to maintain the true balance of stereo input sources in the effect sound. There's also a panning mode for ping-pong delay effects, and a wide stereo mode for enhanced spatial depth.

The DD-8's extensive real-time delay options help bring your music to life. You can tap in tempos with the onboard pedal switch, and control the Warp and GLT modes for unique expressive effects. Adding one or two footswitches unlocks more creative possibilities, like on-demand tap tempo, extended looper control, and a cool Twist effect for soaring echo sounds. Alternately, an expression pedal can be used for continuous control of level, feedback, or delay time-or all of them at once.

Having a looper on your pedalboard is a handy thing-it's great for practice, checking sounds at gigs, and creating on-the-fly backing while performing. The DD-8's looper mode has you covered, so you don't have to take up precious space with a dedicated pedal. All looper functions can be controlled with the onboard switch, providing all-in-one operation. But if you prefer to work with extended controls, just connect one or two footswitches to operate the looper's stop and clear functions externally.

The DD-8's inputs and outputs have smart functionality, allowing you to set the pedal for any application simply by connecting cables in different ways. A variety of mono and stereo connections are supported, including discrete dry and effect outputs for wet/dry setups. It's even possible to defeat the dry signal entirely, perfect for delay-only blending in a parallel effects loop.

Analog-Classic analogue BBD delay sound.
Standard-Clear digital delay.
Tape-Vintage tape-based delay sound.
Warm-Digital delay with a softer sound.
Reverse-Backwards delay for cool psychedelic effects and other unique tones.
+RV-Digital delay with reverb added.
Shimmer-Pitch-shifted delay for lush, shimmering textures.
Mod-Digital delay with modulation added on the repeats.
Warp-Unique delay with expressive pedal control. Holding the pedal switch increases feedback and level, allowing you to create ambient swell effects.
GLT-Newly developed delay mode that creates glitchy machine-gun effects when the pedal switch is pressed. Adjust the Feedback and Time knobs for a wide variety of sounds.
Loop-Loop recorder with overdub capability and up to 40 seconds of recording time with mono input (20 seconds with stereo input).

Boss RE-202 Space Echo Effects Pedal
Cat: 997454 Rel: 01 Mar 24

Space echo effects pedal
Notes: Based on the legendary Roland Space Echo, the RE-202 brings tape-style delay effects into the future. Classic vintage sound in a modern, user-friendly package.

Supplier's Notes:
A Masterpiece Returns in the Modern Era

Introduced in 1974, the Roland RE-201 Space Echo stands among the most legendary and sought-after effect units ever produced. This tape-based classic remained in production for over 14 straight years, and its distinctive rhythmic echo sounds, warm character, and highly playable sonic quirks still inspire musicians, producers, and audio mixers over four decades on.

Backed by intensive R&D and Boss' latest innovations, the RE-202 faithfully delivers the authentic sound and behaviour of the Space Echo like never before. Built by the company that designed the original, this advanced pedal captures the RE-201's magic in flawless detail, from the magnetic tape and motor properties to the vibrant spring reverb and colourful preamp circuit. And to take things even further, Boss have expanded the vintage Space Echo experience with lots of new features tuned for today's music.

Tape Echo Magic

Tape echo was the first delay effect and one of the first effect processors available for electronic musicians. In contrast with today's CPU-based digital units, a tape echo is a simple machine that uses a motor to pull magnetic tape across one or more record/playback heads. Warm, full, and dynamic, the tape echo sound is influenced by many factors. The ever-changing input level colours the sound with varying amounts of tape saturation and compression. In addition, motor speed fluctuations, friction, wow and flutter, and other elements introduce an appealing modulated character that's subtle and continually evolving.

RE-201 Space Echo: Simply Legendary

The RE-201 was a benchmark Roland product and one of the leading tape echo units of its era. It featured three evenly spaced heads that produced a wider range of echo effects than typical single-head designs, plus an innovative free-running tape system that provided superior performance with minimal tape wear. Grab-and-go controls enabled quick access to clean, single delays or various head combinations for dense, rhythmic echoes. A spring reverb tank was included too, making the RE-201 a one-stop shop for quality ambience effects. Last but not least, analogue preamp circuitry was another key ingredient in the Space Echo's rich sonic recipe.

A Masterpiece Reborn

Realized through the latest technologies and exhaustive analysis of several vintage RE-201s-including a pristine original unit from the BOSS and Roland factory archive-the RE-202 brings the complete Space Echo experience to life in a versatile modern pedal.

While previous BOSS designs captured the true sonic flavour and essential characteristics of the Space Echo, new advancements have allowed us to go much deeper than ever before. With the RE-202, Boss' engineers have fully reproduced all the complex, non-linear behaviours that contribute to the RE-201's immortal character. Everything that influences the sound was carefully examined and recreated with all-new algorithms, including the tape path, record/playback mechanism, motor variations, preamp coloration, tape age, spring reverb character, and more.

Retro Sound at Your Fingertips

The RE-202 delivers the full vintage vibe of the RE-201-without the need for regular tape replacement and hardware maintenance. All the core controls of the original are here, including the iconic 12-position mode selector. Every behaviour is replicated with complete accuracy, such as the gradual pitch change that occurs when the Repeat Rate knob is tweaked, or the cool runaway feedback that happens when the Intensity knob is maxed.

With selectable tape age and variable controls, you can dial in everything from a brand-new Space Echo to the worn character and quirks of a well-loved vintage piece. The Saturation control has been carefully calibrated based on the actual magnetic tape and preamp behaviours of the RE-201, with the sound becoming warmer and more compressed as you turn up the knob.

Boss SDE-3 Dual Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 1041259 Rel: 31 Oct 24

Dual digital delay effects pedal
Notes: Timeless Inspiration
The SDE-3 fuses vintage digital character and wide-ranging versatility into one unique and inspiring BOSS compact pedal. Experience the genuine sound and core features of the Roland SDE-3000, an iconic '80s-era rackmount delay favoured by some of the most influential guitarists of all time. Flow into any creative setup with a slate of modern features. And twist the powerful Offset control to explore an array of colourful dual-delay textures.

Compact Legend
Introduced in 1983 by our parent company Roland, the SDE-3000 is revered for its beautifully rich sound and distinctive modulation. The coveted SDE tone was realized through a finely tuned digital engine and the non-linear behaviours of the supporting analogue circuitry, including magnetic saturation in the anti-alias filter, evolving modulation produced by the components of the time, and an altered triangle LFO shape. The SDE-3 brings the authentic vibe of this classic delay to a pedalboard-friendly BOSS compact, enhanced with innovative creative features for every musical style.

Vintage Colour and Character
Dripping with warmth and musicality, the SDE-3 elevates your tone with endlessly evocative delay sounds. The efficient panel provides the primary controls of its vintage benchmark-including delay time, feedback, and independent rate and depth knobs for the modulation-plus additional knobs that expand your sonic potential. Explore retro single delays and '80s-style mod/delay combos. Or tweak the mod and high-cut controls to conjure moody, atmospheric tonalities for ambient, chill, and lo-fi music.

Offset Magic
Along with reproducing the SDE-3000's famous mono sound, the SDE-3 includes a powerful Offset feature to create interesting tones with two simultaneous delays. With one simple control, you can instantly add a second delay to the primary delay for a wealth of mono and stereo colours.

Doubled Delays-Turning the Offset knob up to its centre position introduces a second delay that's 1-100ms longer than the primary delay. For example, if the primary delay is 400ms and the Offset is 10ms, the second delay's time is 410ms. Coupled with the SDE-3's time, feedback, and highly adjustable modulation controls, you can craft deep delay tones unavailable with typical delay pedals.

Timed Dual Delays-In the second half of its range, the Offset knob produces a shorter second delay that's based on the primary delay time. Use the pedal's tap tempo function to determine the quarter-note value for the primary delay. Next, turn the knob to sweep the second delay's time between eighth-note and dotted-eighth subdivisions. This lets you introduce a variety of rhythmic effects that sync with your music.

Multiple Output Modes
The versatile SDE-3 provides output configurations for any stage or studio scenario. Run it in mono for basic setups. Play in true stereo with discrete left/right delays or a panning mode for ultra-wide sounds that move across the stereo field. Send dry and direct feeds to two amps for wet/dry setups. Or mute the direct sound entirely for studio mixing and parallel effect rigs.

Modern Workflow
The SDE-3 offers numerous control options to enhance your performances. Press and hold the pedal switch to enable the tap tempo function. Or use the TRS MIDI input to receive clock sync signals from DAWs, pedals, and drum machines. Connect external footswitches for on-demand access to tap tempo and a hold function for on-the-fly looping. Alternately, an expression pedal can be used to control the Level, Feedback, and Time knobs for delay mix adjustment, wild pitch effects, and dramatic self-oscillation.

Boss DD-3T Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 996027 Rel: 16 Feb 24

Digital delay effects pedal
Notes: BOSS's iconic DD-3 Digital Delay has been a pedalboard staple since 1986, loved everywhere for its great sound and simple operation. With the DD-3T, we've updated the classic stomp with enhanced functionality while fully retaining the original's sound and control layout. It's now possible to tap in delay tempos using the onboard switch or an external one, with your choice of three beat subdivisions. And the direct output jack has been moved next to the main output, providing easier connectivity for wet/dry setups.

In continuous production for over three decades, the DD-3 has been the go-to delay stomp for countless players. Based on the DD-2-the world's first digital delay pedal from 1983-the DD-3 is revered for its warm, round delay tone and simple controls that let you dial in sounds fast. The DD-3T's sound circuitry and controls are identical to the DD-3, delivering every drop of that classic vibe you know and love.

A key addition the DD-3T brings is tap tempo, an essential feature for creating the rhythmic delay effects at the heart of many guitar styles. In delay mode, hold the pedal switch for two seconds to toggle between bypass and tap operation. And for on-demand tap control, simply connect an external footswitch. When the DD-3T receives tap input, up to 800 ms of delay time is available, and the Mode knob sets the tap subdivision (quarter-note triplet, dotted-eighth note, or quarter note).

The DD-3T features a direct output jack like the DD-3, but it's been moved next to the main output jack to make connections easier. Plugging a cable into the direct out converts the main out to delay only, allowing you to send wet and dry signals to different amps for wide, immersive sounds. And if your amp or switcher has a parallel effects loop, just connect a dummy plug to the direct out to mute the dry sound for effect-only blending.

The original DD-3 (and DD-2 before) included a forward-thinking Hold function, which allowed you to capture a sound up to 800 ms long, play it continuously, and jam over the top. Many years later, BOSS further developed this creative concept with the successful Loop Station products, which helped spawn the new musical style of live looping. The DD-3T includes the same Hold function as the DD-3, but it's been renamed "Short Loop" to reflect today's common usage.

Caroline Kilobyte Lo-fi Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 941571

A delay effects pedal.
Notes: Caroline have kept your original, dry signal path analogue and pure, then given you a +21db boost/overdrive preamp to smash a low fidelity digital delay chip designed for karaoke machines and kids' toys into smeared, repeated glory; going back in time; back to when they measured data in kilobytes.

This pedal is VERY capable of fun runaway oscillations, both by turning up the summation knob, or a controlled, high-pass filtered oscillation from the Havoc momentary foot switch. If you've ever struggled to make your delays come through prominently in the mix, or lost definition from your original signal, the attack and level controls can allow you to dial up everything from crisp, clean slapbacks to dirty, muted echoes and loud, powerful repeats. A beautiful, subtle modulation circuit courtesy of Jack DeVille also sweetens the repeats with just the right amount of movement.

Caroline Megabyte Lo-Fi Delay Computer Effects Pedal
Cat: 941575

A delay effects pedal.
Notes: Megabyte builds on the acclaimed Kilobyte legacy with two old school lo-fi digital chips for more delay time, tap tempo, trails or true bypass, and a nastier, dirtier runaway havoc. All with a straightforward and intuitive, immediately rewarding control setup.

Less time menu scrolling, more time rock and rolling. All this still fits on a card sized "manual."

Caroline added the most requested features from our customers' wish lists while making sure we kept the qualities that they loved. This includes a fun and functional tap-tempo with three subdivisions, double the delay time (up to 1200ms) for better noise handling and range, easily switchable trails or true bypass options, and a nastier *Havoc paired to the tap switch to go with the +21db drive preamp and modulation for the delay side. On the inside of the pedal are controls for a 100% dry-kill for production work and a maximum headroom option on the havoc/oscillation side.

Colortone Lo-Fi Delay Dual Channel Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 966192 Rel: 30 Aug 23

Dual channel delay Effects pedal.
Notes: Re-Built from the ground up - a complete redesign of the original Lo-Fi Delay.

Enter the realm of sonic exploration with Colortones LO-FI DELAY. Featuring three distinct delay voicings, the LO-FI DELAY is a grainy lo-fi, old-school analogue tape sounding dub style delay engine with momentary oscillation feedback and speed switching options.

At its core the LO-FI DELAY is a tempo synchronized dual channel delay with each channel having independent Regen and Time controls.

Controls include Delay Time, Regen, Feedback, Mix and a 'Splash' footswitch to momentarily send the delay into a predetermined amount of regenerative feedback and or Tempo Change.

The SPLASH footswitch also acts as a Tap Tempo control requiring at least 4 quick taps to calculate a new tempo.

Controls

Wet | Dry Switch

Wet Mode acts like a normal delay where the delayed repeats can be mixed against the Dry Signal with the decay time set by the Regen knob. When the SPLASH Footswitch is momentarily pressed the decay time switches to the Regen+ knob setting allowing for more or less regenerative delays while the footswitch is pressed.

Dry Mode is designed for running in a quite mode and only activating the delay while the SPLASH footswitch is held down. Great for adding dub style accents to certain stabs / phrases or adding splashes of ambient delay or moments of crazy feedback to an otherwise Dry signal.

Hi-Fi | Lo-Fi Switch

Hi-FI mode has a crisp hi-fidelity non-destructive repeated delay.

The centre and down positions are Lo-Fi modes where the resulting delay repeats are a little darker like a tape delay with a slight hint of mechanical tape warble. The Centre position uses a Lowpass filter in the delay feedback line where as the Down position uses a HighPass filter.

Division Knob

The Div knob sets the alternative delay speed when Splash is pressed while in Wet Mode. At 3 O'Clock Repeats are at Unity 1:1. Turning anticlockwise the repeats are Multiplied (Faster) in by either x2 or x3. Turning Clockwise from unity the repeats are divided (slower) by either 2 or 3.

Crazy Tube Circuits TI:ME MKIII Digital Delay Effects Pedal With Tap Tempo
Cat: 838497 Rel: 01 Nov 21

Delay pedal with separate analogue and digital paths
Notes: Inspired by the first digital delay rack units introduced at the beginning of the "digital audio revolution" in the mid-late 70's. These units had lower bit resolution and bandwidth compared to today's digital delay standards.

TI:ME is not your typical sterile and ultra clean digital delay. With separate analogue and digital paths to get best of both worlds, this retro inspired echo effect will warm up your tone. An all analogue signal path featuring a high quality opamp is used for the best reproduction of your dry signal. Two digital recording devices, along with carefully tuned filtering, placed in parallel with the dry path give you the most ambient delay unit you have ever heard. Think of a Model 113 rack unit; the repeats are really musical, reminiscent of worn tape echoes.

Each TI:ME unit is hand lacquered in copper colour and one of a kind!

Crazy Tube Circuits Sidekick Jr. Time-Based Multi-Effects Pedal
Cat: 969279 Rel: 18 Oct 23

Modulation, delay and reverb effect pedal.
Notes: The perfect companion now comes in a smaller package - introducing Sidekick JR by Crazy Tube Circuits!

Drawing inspiration from the original Sidekick pedal released back in 2019, the aim was to create a compact pedal that combines the most widely used time-based effects, suitable for any gear setup seeking 80s tones and beyond.

From the jangly, ambient, and shimmering sounds of New Wave, Shoegaze, and Synth Pop to the wet tones of Hair / Glam Metal. Crazy Tube Circuits' Sidekick JR offers even more sounds / algorithm selections compared to the original unit.

The modulation effects / algorithms take inspiration from classic 80s stompboxes. The "Ensemble" algorithm replicates warm and mild modulated chorus sounds, while the "dimension" algorithm enhances the 3D image of your sound without the typical chorus warble. The "flanger" algorithm draws from a classic flanger pedal set up as a slow chorus with mild feedback added for a more metallic sound.

The Echo / delay section provides the sweet and vibrant sound of a tape echo with a freshly installed tape running through a colourful preamp, or the pristine repeats of an 80s digital delay rack unit.

The Reverb section in Sidekick JR is inspired by definitive examples of 80s reverb rack units and offers two algorithm banks. Bank A includes all-time classic reverb sounds like "plate," "spring," and "hall," while Bank B features signature 80s reverb sounds like "gated," "exciter" (Crazy Tube Circuits' trademark big-hall reverb algorithm with almost infinite reflections and decay), and octave-up "shimmer."

To provide full flexibility in the smallest enclosure possible, Crazy Tube Circuits has devised a smart switching setup. The delay and reverb effect sections of Sidekick JR operate independently from each other, and the modulation is assignable to any of these sections as standard. With the addition of the XT footswitch (available separately), the modulation section becomes entirely independent and can be switched on/off (true bypass) on its own.
Crazy Tube Circuits' Sidekick JR also features a power-up bypass/engage pre-set function for the onboard footswitches. This feature allows users to select the state the pedal will go to when the power supply is plugged in. It's particularly useful for individuals who use remote pedal switchers /loopers, as they can set the power-up state of the pedal once and then operate it from the controller.

Death By Audio Echo Master Lo-Fi Analogue-Tape-Style Vocal Delay/Echo Effects Pedal
Cat: 888700 Rel: 21 Oct 22

Designed for vocals, the Echo Master is a lo-fi, analog tape-style delay unit that can transform your voice into a chaotic realm of noise and feedback.
Notes: Psychdelic Vocal Trip

Designed for vocals, the Echo Master is a lo-fi, analogue tape-style delay unit that can transform your voice into a chaotic realm of noise and feedback. The effects loop allows additional effects to be placed in the signal chain, making it easy to use with any of your favourite effects pedals on your vocal sound without any adapters.

The Echo Master is not just a delay unit, however. It utilizes matched Bourns transformers on the input to create a vibrant-sounding and feedback-minimizing preamp to bring you phenomenal vocal quality before you even hit the PA. Your sound engineer will hate you because you'll sound better than ever without their help. Top it off with high-quality Neutrik XLR jacks and the Echo Master is the ultimate tool for taking total control of the sound of your voice.

Controls

Time: Controls the delay time, with numbers labelled in milliseconds. In the Red Zone, the delay chip is pushed to the extreme. The signal decreases in fidelity as the time increases.

F-Back: Controls the number of repeats in the delay circuit, anywhere from one to an infinite to a wall of oscillation.

Mix: Controls the level of the delayed channel in comparison to the dry signal, from fully dry to an equal mix.

Send/Receive: Plug out of the Send jack into any additional effects, then back into the Return jack to introduce new sounds into your vocals. This loop is before the delay line, allowing you to affect your dry vocals as well as the delay generated by the Echo Master.

*Alternate Backplate: Back in stock baby! The Echo Master can also be purchased with a backplate that mounts to your mic stand. Puts the pedal within hands reach to maximize live performance tweak-ability. This recently upgraded V3, comes with a handgrip screw for more torque (although it resembles the V1, this is a much sturdier model). **Please note- cords, microphone, and stand are not included.

EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master v3 Digital Delay & Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 781637 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Digital delay & reverb effects pedal
Notes: The Dispatch Master is a hi-fi digital Delay & Reverb Device that combines independent delay and reverb effects into one space-saving enclosure, so you can keep deep ambient echoes (or just a quick slapback) on speed-dial.

The best-selling EarthQuaker Devices pedal just got better with new Flexi-Switchr Technology. Want to dip into ambient delay and reverb sounds for just one note? Press and hold the footswitch for as long as you use the effect, release it when you're finished, and resume your regularly scheduled dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass.

To Use Both Effects at the Same Time, Simply Adjust all Controls to Taste:

The Mix (1) control is a wet/dry blend that adjusts the overall level of the affected signal.

Time (2) sets the delay time from 0ms to 1500ms (1.5 seconds).

Reverb (3) controls the amount of reverb. Counterclockwise is less reverb, clockwise is more reverb.

Repeats (4) controls the regeneration of the delay signal. When the Repeats control is set to maximum, you'll get infinite repeats without runaway self-oscillation, which makes it great for creating drones, dialing in the ultimate post-rock guitar sound without feedback, or just having fun.

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Delay Only:

Turn the Reverb control all the way down.

Adjust the Time, Repeats, and Mix controls to taste:

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Reverb Only:

Turn the Time and Repeats controls all the way down

Adjust the Reverb and Mix controls to taste

THIS IS IMPORTANT! In Reverb-only mode, the Repeats control has a secondary function. It can be used to adjust the decay, depth, and tonal quality of the reverb! Turn it up for more dynamics and a thicker tone.

This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. Do not run at higher voltages!

EarthQuaker Devices Disaster Transport Delay Modulation Machine Effects Pedal (limited edition)
Cat: 944530 Rel: 05 Jun 23

An analogue voiced digital delay effects pedal.
Notes: Limited-edition reissue of EarthQuaker's excellent Disaster Transport, lightly updated for 2023. Modulated delay now with reduced noise floor, analogue-style filtering and switchable modulation modes.

Supplier's Notes:
Disaster Transport

Legacy Reissue

The Original Delay Modulation Machine

Limited to 3,500 units worldwide. Behold! The newest incarnation of one of Earthquaker Devices' most beloved pedals ever, the Disaster Transport. For those of you well versed in the pedal's celebrated history, you might notice some differences on this beautifully sparkly box. A new Mod Mode switch allows you to bend or stretch the modulation wave. The new Mod Speed switch offers three rates of modulation, from bizarrely animated gradual climbs and steep drop offs to rapid chorus and intense vibrato.

The delay line has been redesigned to reduce the noise floor and improve the quality of the delay. Plus, it's now filtered to sound more like an analogue delay than any of the previous versions. With knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time; this analogue-voiced digital delay sits perfectly in the background with an evolved ambiance, but can also be dialled in for the dramatic effect of your choosing.

EQD initially set out to recreate the original Disaster Transport pedal in its earliest form, but the OG of EQD, Jamie Stillman, couldn't resist tinkering and improving the whole thing, so you just got upgraded, my friend. In doing so, EQD redesigned the delay line to reduce the noise floor and improve the quality of the delay. The output was boosted with a cleaner mixing section; it's now filtered to sound more like an analogue delay than any of the previous versions.

EQD added a Mod Mode switch that allows you to choose between bending and stretching the modulation wave. The Bend setting offers a subtler vibe closer to a traditional chorus sound, while the new Stretch option gives you loads of pitch-stretching modulation to run wild with.

The other difference you probably spotted with your eagle eye is the Mod Speed three-position toggle switch. The Slow setting is excruciatingly slow and can produce bizarrely animated gradual climbs and steep drop offs. The Fast setting can go from a rapid chorus to an intense vibrato, while the Medium setting is the most traditional rate similar to the classic Memory Man circuit with a nice range to it.

The newly designed enclosure features knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, with Modulate and Activate switches, making this a highly customizable pedal to get the delay sound of your dreams. Thanks to the ramp modulation circuitry, you can turn the delay time down and start to use feedback and modulation at a higher setting to harness a bizarre modulator and achieve subtle to wild chorus-type effects. Or set your delay time how you want to set it and use your modulation rates to set your tempo, so you can strum or pluck to the climbs and drop offs to match your riffs. The possibilities are endless.

Controls

1. Speed: Controls the speed of the modulation. The Speed operates in three ranges (Slow/Fast/Medium) selected by the Mod Speed toggle switch. The Disaster Transport uses a Ramp wave for the modulation. You'll find this to be much more intense than most modulated delays. Think of it as a traditional Triangle wave that falls off a cliff in mid-cycle, creating a drastic pitch bend in its wake. Or don't and just think about whatever you want.

2. Intensity: Controls how much the LFO modulates the delay time. More subtle chorus type effects are achieved with less intensity and more intensity will yield wild pitch stretching and bending. The overall modulation style can be made more or less subtle by using the Mod Mode toggle switch to select Bend or Stretch.

3. Mix: Sets the volume level for the delay signal. Hear more of what you just played 30-600ms ago by turning this up.

4. Repeats: Controls the intensity of delay feedback from no repeats at zero to self-oscillation at max. Let the past pile up on you until it implodes.

5. Time: Sets the delay time from around 30ms at zero to 600ms at max. Everyone needs more time; you are offered about 600ms worth.

6. Mod Speed: Three position toggle switch that sets the range in which the Speed operates.

7. Mod Mode: Two position toggle switch to choose the modulation style. Bend is more of a traditional chorus type modulation and Stretch is a wilder pitch stretching modulation.

8. Modulate: This foot-operated switch features Flexi-Switchr Technology and turns the modulation on and off.

9. Activate: This foot-operated switch features Flexi-Switchr Technology and turns the effect on and off.

Flexi-Switch Technology

EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath v3 - Retrospective Special Custom Edition - Otherworldly Reverberation Machine Pedal
Cat: 864130 Rel: 06 Apr 22

Enhanced Otherworldly Reverberation Machine.
Notes: To celebrate the release of EarthQuaker Devices upcoming Afterneath Retrospective, they have created an extra special custom colour Afterneath v3 pedal and Afterneath Eurorack Module available for a limited time only. The Afterneath Retrospective marks the fourth chapter in EQD's pedal documentary series, taking a deep and often hilarious dive into how some of their top-selling pedals came into existence.

EarthQuaker Devices has taken everything that was great about the original Afterneath and made it even better: 9 new Modes, CV/expression pedal control over the Drag parameter, Trails/No Trails Switching, helping to push the already unflappable Afterneath into a whole new realm.

The Afterneath V3 sounds a lot like it looks - a wizard bursting forth from ethereal cave and ready for the ambient battle. You are the wizard (or sorceress, if you prefer) and the cave is your instrument's signal, vast, expansive and magical. Do you go inside? Roll a D20 to proceed!

Once inside, a reflection of light from an unknown source catches your eye, and you notice a bizarre sheen on the walls of the cave. You timidly inch closer to the walls of the cave. Placing your hand gently on the cavern wall, you feel the rock move. The cave is alive! Alarmed, you emit a loud gasp, which reverberates throughout the subterranean landscape. Upon further listening, it appears as though the reverberations of your voice are in fact a swarm of short digital delays which may be used to create wild and cavernous reverbs, or scattered, short, rhythmic delays with bizarre characteristics.

Take a moment to consider your Intelligence and Wisdom scores, as well as your spell inventory before proceeding further. You have seven spells at your disposal... Will you cast "Length," which controls the decay length of the reverb? What about "Diffuse," which adjusts the spread of the reverb? With your wand (or just the knob) turned counter-clockwise, the reverb is sharper with more attack, resulting in a stuttering sputter of individual early reflections. Clockwise casts a washy, more ambient-sounding hex.

Overwhelmed by fear, you hastily cast "Dampen!" As you shout the incantation, you notice that a counter-clockwise variation of this spell results in brighter tones, while as you rotate your wand clockwise; you hear darker tones with a mellower top-end. It's almost as if your magic changes the hardness of the cavern walls, and thus the tonal characteristics of the reverb!

Elsewhere in your book of magic is "Drag," which separates the individual digital delay lines, literally dragging them through the very fabric of time and space towards an unknown event horizon from which they may never return. Clockwise "Drag" positions will gather the delay lines close together for a more reverb-like effect. Turn the "Drag" counter-clockwise and the delay lines will begin to pull apart for a scattered ping-pong delay effect.

The Drag can be put under voltage or expression control using the "EXP" jack located on the side and operates in 9 different modes which are selected by the small "Mode" control. These modes are: Unquantized, Unquantized with slew, Unquantized volt/octave, Chromatic scale, Major scale, Minor scale, Pentatonic scale, Octaves & fifths and Octaves. These modes drastically change the way the Drag control functions, especially while using an expression control or CV.

The "Reflect" alters the depth of the cave, and with it the regeneration of the reverb. This acts as a feedback control and will self-oscillate if cast by a high-level user. Turn clockwise for more wash and echoes, counter-clockwise for less. Finally, the "Mix" alters the alchemical balance between the input signal and the effect.

The Afterneath V3 does not go fully wet but does lower the level of the input signal as you raise this control to create the appearance of a fully wet reverb.

The Afterneath V3 features a completely analog dry signal path, totally digital delay path, buffered bypass with Flexi Switch Technology and a tails/no tails option on bypass. Each and every Afterneath V3 is built by a mix of robots and human beans in the torch-lit cave community of Akron, Ohio.

The delay line has been redesigned to reduce the noise floor and improve the quality of the delay. Plus, it's now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions. With knobs to control the Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time; this analog-voiced digital delay sits perfectly in the background with an evolved ambiance, but can also be dialed in for the dramatic effect of your choosing.

We initially set out to recreate the original Disaster Transport pedal in its earliest form, but the OG of EQD, Jamie Stillman, couldn't resist tinkering and improving the whole thing, so you just got upgraded, my friend. In doing so, we redesigned the delay line to reduce the noise floor and improve the quality of the delay. We boosted the output with a cleaner mixing section; it's now filtered to sound more like an analog delay than any of the previous versions.

We've added a Mod Mode switch that allows you to choose between bending and stretching the modulation wave.

5. Time: Sets the delay time from around 30ms at zero to 600ms* at max. Everyone needs more time; all we can offer you is about 600ms worth.

*The delay time for the Disaster Transport Legacy Reissue can vary based on different settings and individual units.

The actual delay time is influenced by several factors, with one of the most significant being the Modulation setting. If the Modulation is active, the delay time will automatically be shorter due to the parameters that determine the delay. The specified approximate delay time of 600 ms is based on the Modulation being set to off.

Other factors affecting the delay time include the Intensity setting and the IC (Integrated Circuit) itself that controls it. The pt2399 is an older and unique IC, which can have variable tolerances. As a result, some units may produce longer delay times compared to others.

Flexi-Switchr Technology
This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

Power
This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Electro-Harmonix Pico Canyon Echo Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 972473 Rel: 11 Oct 23

Digital delay effects pedal.
Notes: Flexible digital delay in the world's smallest Canyon!

The EHX Pico Canyon Echo takes the digital delay from the award-winning Canyon Delay and Looper and plates it up as a single serving echo unit. Starting with a crystal clean delay, the Canyon Echo is a sweetly simple delay with 3 seconds of delay time. Don't let the size fool you, this canyon is deep! Add filtering, tap tempo, and a feedback knob capable of infinite repeats and this little echo is up to most time bending tasks.

The Canyon Echo features a BLEND knob to get the perfect wet/dry mix. The DELAY knob sets the delay time from 8ms to 3s. FEEDBACK is adjustable from 1 repeat to infinite repeats for endless delay washes and pads. Turn the FILTER knob past noon and it's a High Pass Filter while below noon it is a Low Pass Filter.

Tap Tempo is simple and easy to use. Just press and release the footswitch at least two times to set the tempo and the LED will blink to confirm your tap tempo. The tempo can then be subdivided from a quarter note to a dotted eight note to an eighth note with the TAP DIV button. Additionally, the Canyon Echo also features selectable Tails bypass so echoes continue after putting the pedal into bypass.

The Canyon Echo also features a new style of Infinite Repeats where a single delay is repeated and the input is taken out of the delay path. This makes the pedal function like a micro tape looper that can be played over without new delays being created. The micro loop can also be manipulated into warped sound effects by adjusting the DELAY knob.

Electro-Harmonix Pico Rerun Digital Tape Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 972470 Rel: 12 Oct 23

Vintage tape-style delay smaller than a cassette player!
Notes: Vintage tape-style delay smaller than a cassette player!

Tape delay is loved for its warmth and charming imperfections compared to pristine digital delays. Their preamps could be pushed to saturation and, over time, the tape in vintage delay units would degrade causing a signature warble loved by many. These signature elements are captured and packed into Electro-Harmonix's Pico Rerun tape delay. Based off the tape delay algorithm found in the Canyon Delay & Looper, the Rerun gives vintage vibes with modern features.

The Rerun features a simple control set and tap tempo for ease of use in any situation. BLEND sets the wet/dry blend. DELAY adjusts the delay time from 8ms to 3s. SAT adds tape saturation and distortion for added crunch to only the wet signal, keeping your dry signal unaffected by the added distortion. FDBK sets the level of repeats from 1 to infinite for runaway oscillation. You can also press and hold the footswitch to engage infinite repeats in an instant. The FLUTTER mode switch toggles between low, medium, and heavy modulation effects ranging from slight chorusing to seasick thickness.

Tap Tempo is simple and easy to use. Just press and release the footswitch at least two times to set the tempo and the LED will blink to confirm your tap tempo. Additionally, the Rerun also features selectable Tails bypass allowing echoes to continue after putting the pedal into bypass.

The Dual Engine functionality allows any 2 of these delays to be used together, routed in either parallel, series, or left/right configurations.

In addition to delays, there's the super-useful reverb combos, which will elevate any guitar part. Oh, and don't forget Whisky mode, best accompanied by a dram of whatever you've got!

The pedal has 12 algorithm types, all with multiple variations. For example, there are 4 different tape delays on tap.

Emulations of classic tape and analog units are available, as well as our take on these types of delay.

All the algorithm controls are sitting on a knob in front of you, no fiddling through laborious menus.

Global tap tempo as well as local tempo with lots of subdivisions are available on all modes, in addition to being able to set the delay time directly with the knob.

Features a signal to noise ratio of >104dB and maintains an analog dry path.

2 delays can be used at the same time, each with its own full set of controls and routed in serial, parallel or left/right.

Settings can be saved to 35 presets. With three stomp switches, accessing the presets is easy.

Bank style or scrolling style preset modes.

It can be configured to run with true bypass or buffered bypass if you want to hear trails.

Hungry Robot The Aether Modulating Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 912588 Rel: 05 May 23

The Aether is a modulating delay pedal.
Notes: The Aether is a modulating delay pedal.

The initial vision for the design of The Aether came shortly after the release of the Wardenclyffe Deluxe. The intention was to take design the philosophies and incorporate tonal characteristics that made the Wardenclyffe so special, but this time as a delay pedal.

At the heart of The Aether is a PT2399, tap tempo delay. It has the standard Echo, Feedback, and Time controls you would expect on any delay, but what makes it special is the Color, Saturation, and Degrade Controls. The Color toggle completely changes the character of the Aether and has two voices: Warm Analog and Bright Tape. The Saturation knob is a gain adjustment that overdrives the delay chip. The Degrade toggle adds lofi textures and artifacts to the delay line. The Degrade toggle removes a very vital section of the delay circuitry that keeps the delay stable with longer delay times. As you increase the delay time, the artifacts become more present and lofi.

The Aether uses a simple, but versatile modulation LFO core inspired by the Wardenclyffe, but with more features. The LFO cores sets it apart from other modulated delays out there. The speed of the modulation core can be set 3 different ways: Rate knob, tap tempo tact switch, and Sync toggle. When the Sync toggle is set to its middle position, the LFO can run at whatever speed you want. When the Sync toggle is in the up position it is synced to the delay time. When the Sync toggle is in the down position, it is synced to delay time, but in half-time for slower evolving moduation. The Shift knob determines the depth of the modulation; this has plenty of range in case you want to get really obscene. The Stray toggle changes the LFO from a typical Sine wave to a Slewed Random waveform. Creative exploration of the modulation section of The Aether is strongly encouraged. The way the delay rate and LFO rate interact with each other can yield very creative results.

After being discharged from the army in 1946, Ray and Marv Lubow formed Tel-Ray Electronics, specializing in Television and Radio repair. As the company grew, Ray also began dabbling in audio inventions specifically, delay. Les Paul had already pioneered an effect called tape echo, but folks were trying to figure out how to make a smaller, more practical version of this oversized effect. Inspired to do just that, on June 30, 1959, Ray submitted the patent for an electro-static delay apparatus known today as the oil can delay.

These delay units contained oil in a tuna-can shaped drum that was moved by a belt mechanism that turned the drum while a special disk apparatus on which the audio signal charge was written and read through rubber wiper heads. The playback speed was directly related to the drum's rotation speed. The oil acted as a protective layer to keep the audio signal "charge" electrons in place, creating a truly unique echo effect with elements of vibrato and slapback delay. Ray Lubow began licensing the oil can delay technology to amplifier companies, including Fender, Gibson, and Rickenbacker. In the late 1960s, Ray and Marv decided they wanted to start selling their devices under their own brand name and launched the now legendary effects company, Morley. Ray chose the name as a none-to-subtle jab at their competitor Leslie: Why settle for less with a Leslie when you can get more with Morley? Morley manufactured oil can delays up until 1989.

At Wilco's Solid Sound Festival in 2022, JHS founder Josh Scott found himself in a discussion with legendary guitarist Nels Cline. Nels brought up the subject of weird delays, leading to an in-depth discussion of the strangest pedals they'd ever played. Josh received a message from Nels a few days later asking if JHS made an oil can style delay and began explaining the particular sound he wanted from this type of echo. Though JHS didn't have one in the official lineup, Josh and team developed a one-off oil can delay pedal. When they presented it to Nels as a gift, he liked it so much that he used it through the recording and touring process for Wilco's Cruel Country and now their latest release, Cousin.

Though the JHS Oil Can Delay isn't a signature artist pedal, we're still grateful to Nels Cline for inspiring it. We're proud to offer you this unique pedal for your own collection.

JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay Effects Pedal

Tape delay pedal combining affordability and simplicity with high quality effects
Notes: The JHS Pedals 3 Series is a collection of pedals designed to give you affordability and simplicity without compromising quality. Each 3 Series pedal is made by JHS using high-quality parts, quality control, and attention to every detail. Each pedal has three simple controls and one toggle that offer a wide range of sounds, perfect for beginners and professionals alike. The JHS Pedals 3 Series will inspire your playing and help you explore new sounds at a totally approachable price point.

Tape delay was invented in the late 40s when Les Paul strung two Ampex Model 200A reel-to-reel tape recorders together. A little later, in 1953, Ray Butts invented the Echosonic, the first actual tape delay unit. This would be followed up by the Echoplex EP-1 in 1961 from Mike Battle and the Space Echo from Roland in 1974. The JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay is a simplified and faithful throwback to these classic units. The Mix control lets you control how much clean signal is blended in with the wet (delayed) signal (on the original unit, this was called Echo Volume). Tape Speed acts as a simulation of the RE-201's tape motor speeding up and slowing down and determines how short or long the delay effect is. The Repeats control goes from a single repeat to many, reminiscent of a sound being written onto the tape loop with loss of fidelity each time. Finally, when the Flutter toggle is turned on (up position), it replicates the wear & tear to the mechanical parts of a tape machine that happens over time. This causes mild modulation, warble, and flutter sounds in the echo path of the delay that so many players desire.

Keeley Electronics Halo Andy Timmons' Modulated Dual Echo Effects Pedal
Cat: 880144 Rel: 15 Jun 22

Andy Timmons’ mysterious sounding "Halo" effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself.
Notes: Bags of character courtesy of 'tone wizard' Andy Timmons (Danger Danger). Dual delay lines work in tandem, creating stereo effects from vintage tape delay to infinite hold.

Supplier's Notes:
Andy Timmons' mysterious sounding "Halo" effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself. Andy spent decades combining and crafting the sounds you can now get from the HALO. Notes from the HALO dance rhythmically, almost creating a reverb diffusion. Those notes are held together with tape-style effects like modulation, saturation and compression. The results are stunning!

The pedal comes loaded with his signature delay tone and you can program your own sounds and save them as presets. Easily bounce between Side A and B on the fly, essentially giving you two delay pedals in one. In addition to Andy's signature "Halo" sound, there are numerous other rhythmic delays including: quarter note, dotted 8th, stereo rack mount analogue delay, and a vintage multi-head tape echo. Stunning stereo and pristine sound quality are further enhanced with controls for saturation, tone, and shelving filters that give you the ultimate delay pedal.

Think of HALO as two delay pedals that work in tandem, letting you switch between your main delay (side A) and an alternative (side B). With up to 1500 ms of available delay, set sides A and B for different delay times, then simply foot switch between the two. Keeley's Smart Stomp System allows you to press and hold either stomp switch to engage tap tempo mode. Press and hold the alternate stomp switch for infinite repeat/hold.

Each Preset bank gives you 2 delays settings for a total of 8 user-storable effects. Use the Rhythm control to select between different echoes like HALO, Analog, Tape, Quarter and Dotted Eighth. HALO's Saturate control adds tape compression texture to your tone. The Tone and High Pass Filter controls your overall delay shape and mix. The Rhythm Mode selector delivers 5 delay types, including Andy's unique "Halo" sound. Set the Time and Feedback controls low, and you can open up a world of ambient chorus and flanger effects.

Run the HALO in stereo for incredible true-stereo imaging or save your favourite combination of settings as a preset and the HALO becomes an incredibly compact multi-effect workstation!

Keeley Electronics Parallax Spatial Generator Effects Pedal
Cat: 918425 Rel: 19 Jan 23

Tape-style modulated delay & multi-reverb effects pedal
Notes: The Parallax offers the delay side of the legendary Caverns paired with unique Shoegaze inspired reverbs of the Realizer in one pedalboard friendly enclosure. On one side of the Parallax, analogue-style modulated delays create a soft bed of warm repeats, while the other side builds Reverse setting-vibrato swirls (great for those who don't have a vibrato arm on their guitar) to ambient modulations to form perfect pools of reverb reflection. When both sides are paired together, the Parallax offers the perfect end-of pedalboard solution for Shoegaze, Ambient, and Experimental tone seekers.

Three finely-tuned reverb effects for shoegaze and ambient guitarists who have already found their perfect drive or fuzz tone. Grab your favourite offset guitar, pick your favourite reverb mode, and take a slow dive into the hazy, atmospheric sounds that you've always dreamed of.

Parallax Reverb Modes:

Soft Focus - A lush, surreal recreation of the popular Soft Focus patch from the Yamaha FX500 multi effects processor, a late 80's rack unit that was used to achieve many signature delay and modulation effects used in the early 90's. Adjusting the DECAY control changes both decay time of the reverb and feedback for the dual delay. DEPTH controls depth of all 4 chorus voices.

Reverse (Reverse Reverb) - Inspired by the two most popular rack mount reverb effects of the 80's and 90's, the Yamaga SPX90 and the Alesis Midiverb II. DECAY switches between 8 different fixed delay times from a quick 150ms all the way up to a half second. No tremolo bar, no problem! Reverse mode also features an envelope triggered vibrato that emulates the pitch bend from a Jazzmaster tremolo bar. Change the DEPTH control will set how deep the 'term bar' is pushed. The WARMTH control in this mode is designed to work like the Jazzmaster rhythm pickup tone control.

Hall (Hall Reverb with Ascending Shimmer) - Hall reverb with an octave up. The output of the reverb is fed into an octave up which then feeds back into the input of the reverb, creating an infinitely ascending octave feedback loop. The DEPTH control will change how noticeable this pitch effect is.

The Delay side of the Parallax offers three way switchable modulation that gives you access to even more analogue textures. These carefully voiced echoes sit well in the mix whether clean or paired with your favourite drive or fuzz.

Parallax Delay Modulation Modes:

Off - No modulation, classic analogue-style warm delay.
Deep - Heavy, swirling modulation added to the delay trail.
Light - Softer, gentle modulation added to the delay trail.
Use the Rate, Blend, and Repeats knobs in conjunction with the mode switch to unlock the full palette of Delay sounds in the Parallax.
