Notes: Secret Chord Analogue's Record Restore fluid is specially formulated to dissolve dust, dirt, grime, and binder substances commonly found in record grooves. The proprietary formula emulsifies and breaks down binders, including static electricity thereby releasing trapped impurities into a removable skin for a 100% clean. Specifically, Record Restore targets statically charged micro-particles, which if not neutralised will resist all efforts to remove them. The formula works by first penetrating deep into the grooves where it turns contaminants, and the binder substances that weld them to the groove walls, into an emulsion.

The STC's unique polishing action safely rotates about the stylus tip within the cartridge's normal operational parameters using only the normal tracking force of the tonearm.

Importantly, no fluids are involved. Wet cleaning of a stylus, especially with chemicals, is not recommended as many styluses are glued to their cantilevers.

At 4 gms, the STC is so light it turns easily on either the platter or a record surface. The gentle rotation about the stylus's vertical axis increases the tak's effectiveness in removing fine particles. Pro-Ject's updated VC-E2 is a compact alternative to the premium VC-S3 record cleaner. A new magnetic clamp seals the label and holds the record for cleaning with Pro-Ject's Wash It 2 cleaning fluid.

The new VC-E2 is a new compact record cleaning machine with completely new, superior features. Vinyl records need a specific maintenance. The dry brush cleaning before playing the record is good to roughly remove dust. To effectively clean the grooves, you need to wet clean the record.

To achieve the perfect cleaning, we also need a suitable cleaning fluid. Alcoholic cleaning fluids can destroy musical micro information of the grooves. That's the reason Pro-Ject designed a new eco-friendly non-alcoholic cleaning fluid called "Wash it 2". The new Wash it 2 is a pre-mixed liquid, so you don't have to dilute the concentrate yourself anymore. This avoids accidentally
using unsuitable tap water for mixing. With Wash it 2 you can optimize the cleaning performance again. The VC-E2 is very powerful and cleans records completely in one to two revolutions.
