Review: The faultless All Day I Dream label is back with more zoned-out sounds for loved-up dances in the open air under a hot sun. Pippi Ciez is in charge of this one and it opens up with the beautiful melancholy of 'Seeking Solitude' which has chords draped over smooth rolling drums. 'Limitless' then lifts off into the stars with airy, floaty-light chords and wispy pads all ensuring you are cast adrift from your woes and left free to float in a happier place. Last of all, 'Guardians' is a sublime and supple deep house lament.

Review: If you have heard any All Day I Dream releases you will know what to expect, and yet still the label keeps on turning them out and still they keep us interested because it is such a lovely and escapist sound. Dim Kelly is next up to offer their own spin on it and do so with four fantastic cuts. 'Pianologic' is a piano-laced jam with wonky rhythms and warming pads that bring plenty of playfulness. 'Preach The World' (with Stereoclip) settles into a more smooth groove with subtler melodies and 'The Stream' then sinks into a more heads-down groove with darker basslines. 'Nuit D'amour' (feat Maya Safar) completes the picture with a spine-tinged vocal that soars over shimmering deep house.

The first full length LP after his 2021 EP 'Bad Chlorure', 'Nocturna Animal' is Dim Kelly's airy, snowballing deep house follow-up. A cinematic tour through folktronic, progressive house builds garnished with plucked guitar, synth mallets and emotive strings, every piece on 'Nocturna Animal' is warm and slow-building, from the rainsoaked moans of 'Embruns Marins' to the driving sample repetitions of 'Glow'. A fitting celebration of All Day I Dream's 10th birthday celebrations.

UK beatmaker Tim Green is no stranger to cooking up epic techno tracks. He has done so many teams before on home label Cocoon but here he explores a different vibe on Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream. 'The Night Is Blue' is a perfectly smooth and seductive rolling house soundtrack for lazy daytime sessions somewhere hot. 'Gold Of Gold' brings nice loose percussion and hypnotic vocal wails next to lush chords and 'Jewel' then slows it down. The jumbled beats are topped with more curious melodies and bird class to make for another daytime delight.

As evidenced by the cover of this latest EP, Belgian house artist Hermanez has his head in the clouds. Similarly, if we were to liken the weight of his productions to a cloud, it would probably be a dense cumulonimbus, ready to pour it all down on us. That's because every track on this bit has extra-special, nuanced attention paid to its drums, all of which are backed up by immense, emotive bassweight to boot.

Although he's been active as a producer since the mid 2000s, Valentin Huedo still has only a handful of solo and collaborative 12" singles to his name. This outing on the popular All Day I Dream label is a welcome return to action all told and marks his first vinyl release since 2014. Female singer Bird provides attractive and seductive lead vocals on superb EP opener 'Tonight', a warming chunk of hybrid deep house/tech-house fusion rich in sustained chords, bubbly electronic lead lines and glassy-eyed intent. Huedo's ability to deliver tactile, sun-kissed dancefloor gold is successfully showcased on the melody-rich 'Salinas Sunrise', while Igor Marijuan hook-up 'Neo' is a sparkling, gorgeous and effortlessly summery affair capable of calming your mind while moving your feet.

Review: All Day I Dream's Lee Burridge is a man who has walks managed to reinvent himself. Right now he is in his dreamy deep house phase and his label is the best out there for these sort of organic day time grooves. Now well past the 100 releases mark it is back with a new winter sampler full of heartwarming sounds from key label associates like Simon Vuarambon. Homeless, Facundo Mohrr, Maxi Degrassi and more. Each one layers up zoned out pads, soft rhythms and gently persuasive sounds that will have you in a trance in no time.
