The Ozzie label Pelvis has been on a tight roll since they came into the picture a couple years back, and thanks to release by peeps like Luca Lozano, Body Corp and Mall Grab, they've managed to rack up a little hype along the way! They're back with the second edition of the DJ Tools, and there's some hot talent inside: Roza Terenzi's electro opener "Oxygen Stomp" is a certified flow-filler these days, DJ Haus' stomping house nugget "Rushing" has that Chicago badness right up there in its DNA, and Secret Circuit's "Freak Tool" carries a fine percussion loop alongside twisted cowbells and chopped-up vocals. On the flipside, TMO comes through with "Tanzbar Jam", a minimalistic drum machine tool with a raw edge, Phran's "Vibrothang" is a marvellous little jungle stomper, and Furious Frank's "Bonza Lemonza!" gives new meaning to what we usually call 'Fingers Acid' - what a beauty of an EP. Tip!!!
