Terrence Parker is a rare breed; a timeless and enormously talented producer who has remained at the forefront of the underground Detroit house movement for more than 25 years. First releasing in 1988, Parker's discography reaches well into three figures, with a solid portion of his work appearing on his own Parker MusicWorks. MusicWorks Vol.2's "Slipping Away", pressed up on his aforementioned label, maintains these high standards. Alongside the original and instrumental versions is our fave; the Disco Heat mix. It's a funky, deep and generously groove ridden killer that twangs with infectious guitar loops and "I can feel it, sli-sli-sli-slippin' away" vocals wrapped with Rhodes key sequences pitched to perfection.
