Effects pedals

There are thousands of effects pedals on offer, with something to suit every budget and every sound. Effects pedals – sometimes called stomp boxes or FX – were originally targeted at guitar players, but now there are options for everyone, including pedals designed specifically for bass guitars, synths and vocals. Old-school effects pedals were typically simple analogue effects like distortion, overdrive, fuzz, wah and flangers. Modern pedals might also include digital processing, unlocking complex reverbs, delays, loopers and modulation effects like chorus. Electronic producers should look out for pedals which can handle line-level signals, making it easier to hook up synthesisers, modular synths, drum machines, samplers and other pro studio equipment. Some pedals even offer stereo inputs and outputs, meaning you can use them on true stereo signals. Whether you’re looking for a cheap, high-quality distortion or a boutique multi-effects unit, there’s something for everyone.

Eventide Blackhole Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 791381 Rel: 16 Sep 20

Reverb effects pedal
Notes: Little box, big reverb. Specially designed for huge, cavernous echo effects and ideal for infinite tails and frozen sounds, the Blackhole is an exceptionally high quality pedal at a very reasonable price.

Supplier's Notes:
Create haunting echoes, ethereal landscapes and otherworldly ambience with Blackhole, a reverb pedal as big and as mysterious as the cosmos. Blackhole takes you there - beyond the ambience of mere earthly Halls, Rooms, Plates or Springs. Blackhole will take you on a journey from cathedral-type spaces to a universe of out-of-this-world soundscapes.

It includes onboard tone controls, modulation, and infinite reverb settings with mono or stereo operation, MIDI control, preset storing, and most importantly a new compact, easy-to-use interface.

Blackhole features two types of infinite reverb. Infinity mode continuously layers new sound on top of a suspended reverb. Freeze mode holds the effect allowing you to play over the reverb tail. The Freeze Footswitch allows instant access to this feature.

Unlike other reverbs which may offer pre or post modulation, Blackhole features modulation built into the reverb structure itself. It's essentially a big multi-voice chorus, with unique tone-shaping ability. You can utilize extreme settings to smooth out the edges.

Like all Eventide pedals, Blackhole allows you to fine tune every aspect of the effect. With a new, user-friendly, intuitive interface, just about anyone can shoot for the moon and land beyond the stars.

Walrus Audio Lore Reverse Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal
Cat: 881927 Rel: 23 Jun 22

Made up of five different programs, each utilizes different combinations of delay and reverb that feed into each other for time-warping ambient creations.
Notes: Reverb and reverse delay go to the next level with this "ambient creation machine". Two DSP circuits with analogue feedback allow you to create epic soundscapes, time-stretching effects and more.

Supplier's Notes:
Once upon a time, in a fairy tale world, there stood a hidden forest. On the eve of every full moon, magical and delicate sounds of light were heard bouncing and reverberating through the trees. These sounds carry artifacts of notes moving backward and stretching through time. They are referred to as... Lore.

Create the soundtrack to your storybook adventure with the Lore Reverse Soundscape Generator. Made up of five different programs, each utilizes different combinations of delay and reverb that feed into each other for time-warping ambient creations. Featuring two DSP chips running in series, each with their own analogue feedback path, the Lore takes you on an adventurous journey rich with themes of reversing, time-stretching, pitch-shifting, and vast ambiance.

Having two analogue feedback paths allows each program to incorporate a unique mix of affected and unaffected feedback. The two feedback paths interact and build off of each other organically, offering the user a wide array of sounds and behaviours to experiment with.

Programs:

I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb: Program 1 combines reverse delay with reverse reverb with a focus on organically interacting feedback paths. Space and ambiance build as the signal is reversed, re-reversed, reverberated, and reversed again within the feedback network. Experiment with the X knob to control how reversed your delay trails are with left being least reversed and right being fully reversed. Lots of fun with big, eerie minor chords!

II. Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb: Program 2 is a "light reverb" that combines octave-up harmonic feedback with an expansive, airy, reverb tank to create a breathy, spacious ambiance. Use the Regen knob to introduce a playful shimmer into the reverb decay. Increase the X knob to control the decay of the reverb. It sounds especially great with delicate fingerpicking parts.

III. Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb. Program 3 is a "dark reverb" that combines octave down harmonic feedback with heavy filtering and harmonic distortion, to create a sound that is thick, rich, and murky. Use the Regen knob to bring a lower octave into the reverb decay. Increase the X knob to control the decay of the reverb. Add in some high gain or fuzz to alter the time-space continuum.

IV. Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb. Program 4 is a dual reverb program, featuring reverse reverb into forward reverb, Dual harmonic feedback paths allow the user to dial in octave up and octave down, and time stretching allows for control of the size and character of the space. Perfect for instantly transforming guitar into rich ambient pads. Use the Feedback knob to add a lower octave to the reverse reverb. Conversely, use the Regen knob to add an octave up to the reverse reverb decay. Control the decay of the forward reverb with the X knob. To channel all things ambient, experiment with dynamic picking and strumming techniques with the mix fully wet for ethereal drones and pads.

V. Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay. Program 5 features two "duelling" pitch delays, which shift the input signal up and down in complementary or opposing directions, allowing the user to create intricate harmonic patterns in the feedback network. Behaves like a sequencer at higher delay times and like a harmonizer at lower delay times. Use Feedback and Regen knobs to control various amounts of pitched delay repeats. Use the X knob to change the order of the 4th, 5th, and octave intervals that the pitch delay steps through. Experiment with short staccato notes to create some very interesting rhythmic parts!

Dive / Rise - Holding down the tap tempo switch will momentarily shift the clock rate of the pedal down or up and will hold it at that rate for as long as the switch is pressed. The direction of the dive can be changed by simply pressing bypass and tap simultaneously. A green LED over tap will indicate rise is set and a blue LED will indicate that dive is set.

The Mod knob will control the amount of modulation applied to the wet signal. Holding down bypass and adjusting the Mod knob will adjust the modulation rate. The bypass LED will blink to show your set mod rate.

Specs:

The Lore comes coated in a muted green enclosure with Cream, Orange, brown and dark green ink with art by David Huttner.
The die-cast enclosure's exact size is 3.62" x 4.79" x 2.25" including knobs.
Buffered bypass.
Power requirements are 9VDC, center negative (300mA minimum).
The use of an isolated power supply is recommended for powering all Walrus Audio Pedals.

KMA Machines Horizont Interdimensional Multispatial JFET Phaser Effects Pedal
Cat: 782228 Rel: 24 Aug 20

Phaser pedal
Notes: Amazingly versatile phaser business in this brilliantly designed pedal. Watch the demo video to hear the amazing range of sounds this one can do. Best phaser ever? Might just be.

Supplier's Notes:

Jump into spaceship Horizont and begin your trek into star- filled galaxies, all while discovering the incredible vastness of the sounds created by this inter-dimensional multi-spatial stereo analog JFET Phaser. The unexpected is waiting for you behind the far away horizon and it will be a journey you'll never forget!

The Horizont's mission is to push way beyond the classic phasing sounds of yesteryear, and take you to uncharted phaser worlds the second you plug in. By combining lush analog JFET phasing with digitally controlled dynamics, Horizont creates a vivid and expressive modulation experience, all while providing experimental and creative features that'll kick phasing well into the 21st century.

Besides the more common phaser controls, the Horizont offers a plethora of new and exciting options for all the interstellar tone chasers out there. To greatly broaden the range of phasing tones available, KMA implemented a digital LFO with no less than eight different waveforms: Ramp Up/Down, Sine/Triangle/Square wave, a sweeping waveform, Sample & Hold and a random slope waveform going from 20s down to 40ms.

The implemented envelope generator is one of Horizont's absolute key features. It transforms your input signal into a control source to modulate the speed of the digitally controlled LFO or lets you manually phase for a resonant touch wah- like sound, depending on the state of the SWP- and SPURTCONTROL-Switch.

Set the SPURTCONTROL switch to LFO to let the SPURT knob adjust the internal phasing speed. However, by flicking the switch to ENV (Envelope) mode, it allows you to dynamically modulate the speed along the full LFO speed range, based on how loud the input source is (e.g. when you attack the strings hard). You can also combine the SPURT knob and the envelope by flicking the toggle to LFO+ENV where SPURT then sets the minimum speed. For even more control, you can even plug in an external expression pedal/CV-source (0-5V) to alter the minimum speed on-the-fly or you can use the TAP TEMPO switch (tap just twice) to set the speed to fit in with the tempo of your music.

The EXP-Mode switch also lets you choose between a manual phasing mode, controlled by an expression-pedal or an external CV source. Setting the EXP-Mode switch to the middle position will disable any external expression control.
The SWP (Sweep) switch lets you decide to use either the LFO or the envelope of your instrument signal to control the phasing.

The envelope can be set to upwards or downwards operation via the ENV switch, seeing the LFO either slowing down or speeding up, or flipping the orientation when phasing manually from lows to highs and vice versa. In conjunction with the FUEL (Sensitivity) and the DECAY controls, the envelope can be tailored perfectly to your needs.

The EMPH (Emphasis) mode from the original Astrospurt Phaser was kept, but have reworked and refined it extensively for the Horizont. The four toggle-switches determine the stage in which the phase-shifted signal is fed back into itself, while the REG (Regeneration) control sets the feedback amount. We also smoothed out the overall sound of the EMPH mode for a more pronounced, and crisp vocal-like tone. Each of the different switch variations and turn of the REG control will yield different results, seeing you discover new wild, fuzzy and noisy galaxies as you travel deeper down this sonic wormhole.

In order for you to levitate through spacetime, a stereo output has been added to the Horizont. You can switch between a standard stereo output or a panning output, via the STEREOPAN switch. Synchronized with the LFO speed, the upper cycle of the LFO sends the signal to the OUT1 and the bottom cycle to the OUT2. This is without a shadow of a doubt the most liquid and astonishing phasing experience you'll ever embark upon. But wait, there's more! Stop and take a deep breath, set the MIX control to fully clean and the Horizont is transformed into a Tremolo on-the-spot, with all the other aforementioned features.

Last but by no means least, the Horizont was equipped with an FX-Loop right in front of the phase-shifting line. This enables you to add your own secret sonic weapons to this spaceship, seeing you create your very own unique phasing sounds. The pedals' headroom was also increased drastically by boosting the internal circuit voltage to 18V, from the regular 9V input, to give the cleanest phasing possible no matter what instrument or line source you use.

Electro-Harmonix String9 Digital String Ensemble Effects Pedal
Cat: 883514 Rel: 19 Jul 22

Digital string ensemble effects pedal *** LIMITED OFFER WHILE STOCKS LAST ***
Notes: The polyphonic STRING9 String Ensemble transforms a guitar into nine different string ensembles and string synthesizers while requiring zero modifications, special pickups, or MIDI implementation. It relies on the same technology powering all EHX 9 Series pedals. In a 9 Series first, the STRING9 includes the signature EHX Freeze effect on 3 of the presets to sample and hold notes and chords with infinite sustain.

A rotary switch on the STRING9 allows the player to select the sound of their choice, as follows:

SYMPHONIC: Re-creates the sound of a large symphony orchestra and features an octave down effect on the lower range of the guitar for a full sound
JUNE-O: Emulates the Junor analogue string synthesizer sound
PCM: Sound of a small string section sampled by a vintage PCM keyboard producing a warm vintage string sound
FLOPPY: Emulates the sound of an Orchestronr optical disc playback sampler, warble included

Electro-Harmonix Mod Rex Digital Polyrhythmic Modulator Effects Pedal
Cat: 704374 Rel: 03 Oct 18

Powerful modulation tool designed for multiple instruments to stretch your musical boundaries!
Notes: The MOD REX is a kinetic tour-de-force that lets you weave compelling, shifting, musical tapestries. Whether you are a guitarist, synthesist or electronic musician you will find it inspires your creativity and stretches your musical boundaries.

Four independent modulation sections:

The heart of the pedal is its four, independent modulation sections synced in time, they are:

MOD features great sounding EHX Vibrato, Flanger, Chorus or Phaser. The Depth knob lets you set the amount of the effect while Feedback controls the resonance of the Flanger and Phaser.

TREM delivers tremolo, an effect that modulates the volume of your signal. The Depth control sets tremolo intensity.

PAN modulates between left and right in stereo operation. In mono operation the PAN section acts as another tremolo section, but with the wave shapes all inverted!

FILTER offers a choice of a modulated LPF, HPF or BPF. In LPF (low pass filter) frequencies above a modulated cut-off point are cut. In HPF (high pass filter) frequencies below a modulated cut-off point are cut, and in BPF (band pass filter) frequencies above and below a modulated centre point are cut.

Each section also features a choice of four LFO shape options: rising sawtooth, triangle, falling sawtooth or square wave. They affect the way the modulation transitions and provide advanced creative control over the specific section as well as the way they interact with each other.

Tempo control that's flexible and powerful:

The MOD REX delivers virtually limitless polyrhythmic possibilities.

Its TEMPO component gives you nine note-length choices for each of the four modulation sections. They are independently selectable in increments starting at a whole note and ranging thru subdivisions that go up to a 16th note. In addition, any of the sections can be bypassed.

The MOD REX's tempo (displayed as beats per minute or BPM) is adjustable with the Tempo knob, Tap Tempo footswitch or by using an expression pedal into its EXP input. It can also be synced to an external device with MIDI Clock or an external pulse clock.

MIDI and the MOD REX:

The pedal's robust MIDI implementation enables you to sync devices quickly and easily as well as automate functions and changes so they occur precisely when and where you want them whether you are working at home, in a studio or live.

The MOD REX accepts MIDI to enable it to tempo sync the modulation rate with an external device, to recall presets via MIDI Program Change messages and to control any parameter on the MOD REX via Control Change messages.

Extras:

The MOD REX lets you save and recall up to 100 presets. It comes from the factory with 20 great programs.

The pedal features full stereo input and output.

An external foot controller input makes banking up and down thru presets quick and easy.

Eventide UltraTap Multi-Tap Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 817960 Rel: 14 Apr 21

Delay effects pedal
Notes: Multi-tap delays go next-level with Eventide's incredible heritage distilled into this compact pedal format. Line level options allow you to process synths, drums, guitars and just about any other signal.

Supplier's Notes:
A Multiverse of Tone UltraTap is a unique multi-tap effect pedal capable of rhythmic delays, glitchy reverbs, huge pad-like volume swells, and extraordinary modulation.

It's the perfect tool for staccato leads, swelling chords, and other evolving effects - everything from reversed reverbs to the sound of ripping it up in the Grand Canyon!

Think of UltraTap as the mother of all Echoplexes and you won't be too far off.

That's basically how it operates but with the flexibility to add as many 'tape heads' as you want and expressively control their positions and levels.

UltraTap's controls make possible new and unexpected effects. The controls that you would expect in a multi-tap delay pedaliNumber of Taps, Delay and Feedback- are just the basics.

Controls for Spread, Slurm, and Chop open up a new world of possibilities.

Effect Features:

"Slurm" An exclusive and innovative control that smears/slurs taps together to create truly unique reverbs and choruses.

"Chop" and "Spd/Rise/Rel" combine to allow unusual and expressive modulation of the taps based on LFO shapes or the audio's envelope.

"Feedback" unlocks further tone shaping capability.

"Taps" selects up to 64 taps to create simple repeats or morph delays into chorus and reverb.

"Spread" controls the 'distance' between' taps. With the knob centered, the taps are equally spaced, turn clockwise and the later taps are bunched together, counterclockwise and the early taps are bunched together. Use this control to dial in the perfect rhythmic space between taps.

Onboard LFOs and envelopes to chop the sound source into stuttered rhythms.

"Tap Footswitch" allows you to set the tempo of the taps.

EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath v3 Enhanced Otherworldly Reverberator Effects Pedal
Notes: Giant ambience from this cleverly designed reverb pedal. Straightforward, intuitive approach with a clever 'drag' control to spread out and separate the individual digital delay lines.

Supplier notes:
The Afterneath sounds a lot like it looks - a wizard bursting forth from ethereal cave and ready for the ambient battle.

Once inside the cave, a reflection of light from an unknown source catches your eye, and you notice a bizarre sheen on the walls of the cave. You timidly inch closer to the walls of the cave. Placing your hand gently on the cavern wall, you feel the rock move. The cave is alive! Alarmed, you emit a loud gasp, which reverberates throughout the subterranean landscape. Upon further listening, it appears as though the reverberations of your voice are in fact a swarm of short digital delays which may be used to create wild and cavernous reverbs, or scattered, short, rhythmic delays with bizarre characteristics.

Take a moment to consider your Intelligence and Wisdom scores, as well as your spell inventory before proceeding further. You have seven spells at your disposal.

Will you cast "Length," which controls the decay length of the reverb?
What about "Diffuse," which adjusts the spread of the reverb? With your wand (or just the knob) turned counterclockwise, the reverb is sharper with more attack, resulting in a stuttering sputter of individual early reflections. Clockwise casts a washy, more ambient-sounding hex.

Overwhelmed by fear, you hastily cast "Dampen!" As you shout the incantation, you notice that a counterclockwise variation of this spell results in brighter tones, while as you rotate your wand clockwise; you hear darker tones with a mellower top-end. It's almost as if your magic changes the hardness of the cavern walls, and thus the tonal characteristics of the reverb!

Elsewhere in your book of magic is "Drag," which separates the individual digital delay lines, literally dragging them through the very fabric of time and space towards an unknown event horizon from which they may never return. Clockwise "Drag" positions will gather the delay lines close together for a more reverb-like effect. Turn the "Drag" counterclockwise, and the delay lines will begin to pull apart for a scattered ping-pong delay effect.

The Drag can be put under voltage or expression control using the "EXP" jack located on the side and operates in 9 different modes which are selected by the small "Mode" control. These modes are: Unquantized, Unquantized with slew, Unquantized volt/octave,
Chromatic scale, Major scale, Minor scale, Pentatonic scale, Octaves & fifths and Octaves. These modes drastically change the way the Drag control functions, especially while using an expression control or CV.

The "Reflect" alters the depth of the cave, and with it the regeneration of the reverb. This acts as a feedback control and will self-oscillate if cast by a high-level user. Turn clockwise for more wash and echoes, counterclockwise for less.

Finally, the "Mix" alters the alchemical balance between the input signal and the effect. The Afterneath does not go fully wet but does lower the level of the input signal as you raise this control to create the appearance of a fully wet reverb.

Modes
The Modes control changes the way the Drag control functions. The LED will change colors indicating which mode you are in.

1. Unquantized: Smooth, unquantized response over the operating range

2. Unquantized with Slew: Smooth, unquantized response over the entire operating range, but with a musical slew that is reminiscent of turning the varispeed knob on a vintage British tape delay. The "Drag" will lag behind the knob or cv changes, but then quickly catch up.

3. Unquantized Volt/Octave: Smooth and unquantized, yet scaled to align with the 1v/octave curve to allow melodic modulation of audio in the buffer, or control the frequency of self-oscillation like a voltage controlled oscillator.?

4. Chromatic Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the chromatic scale?

5. Minor Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the minor scale?

6. Major Scale (Lydian): Quantized 1v/octave to the major scale (Lydian)?

7. Pentatonic Scale: Quantized 1v/octave to the pentatonic scale?

8. Octaves & Fifths: Quantized 1v/octave to omit all but octaves and fifths?

9. Octaves: Quantized 1v/octave to omit all but octaves

Empress Effects Para EQ MkII Equalizer Effects Pedal
Cat: 910089 Rel: 07 Dec 22

Empress Effects have brought back the most sought-after Parametric EQ pedal, with groundbreaking upgrades.
Notes: The #1 EQ pedal returns - better than ever

Empress Effects have brought back the most sought-after Parametric EQ pedal, with groundbreaking upgrades.

Everything people loved about the original ParaEq was kept, and more fidelity and control have been added.

More Control

Whether you're trying to cut through a mix or fix a feedback issue, you need precision! The ParaEq MKII offers the most control of any pedal EQ on the market.

More Sweetness

Effortlessly sweeten your tone with beautiful sounding, super smooth Baxandall filters for broad high and low frequency shelving adjustments on the Deluxe.

More Power

The ParaEq MKII pedals operates internally at 27V, providing clean headroom without unwanted clipping.

More Purity

This pedal is able to offer the most control without degradation to the tone due to minimal circuit topology00-the opposite of graphic EQs.

Why Choose Parametric EQ over Graphic EQ?
Parametric VS Graphic EQ Graph
Graphic equalizers provide a convenient visual sense of the EQ curve. However, there is a tradeoff in transparency and precision.

The graph here shows the ParaEq MKII Deluxe (cyan) and a 7-band graphic EQ pedal (magenta) both providing a +4dB boost at around 2 kHz. As can be seen, the ParaEq is much more precise in the changes it can make, whereas the graphic EQ affects nearly the entire frequency spectrum. Furthermore, at around 10kHz the ParaEq is providing unity gain, whereas the graphic EQ is attenuating the signal by nearly 6dB. This makes the ParaEq a more transparent circuit than the graphic EQ.

This combination of transparency and precision is why recording studio control rooms are dominated by parametric equalizers, and why they're a great choice for creative and corrective EQ on your pedalboard.

Which ParaEq Do You Need?

The original ParaEq has been loved and trusted by musicians on a variety of instruments for over a decade. Both the ParaEq MKII and the ParaEq MKII Deluxe feature a low-noise, transparent signal path that is extremely versatile.

With three fully parametric bands, you can simultaneously achieve broad tonal shaping and precise fine-tuning to sculpt your perfect sound.

The ParaEQ MKII Deluxe will appeal to players who:

Need high-pass and low-pass filters for precision work at the frequency extremes
Want the glorious sound of Bandaxall filters for sparkling high end or extra weight in the low end
Want to be prepared for any EQ situation

Boss DD-200 Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 996860 Rel: 19 Mar 24

Digital delay effects pedal
Notes: Simply sophisticated

With the 200 series, BOSS introduces a new generation of pedals that pack advanced sound and versatility into a streamlined size that saves space on your board. Grab-and-go controls and multi-function switches make operation easy and intuitive, while onboard memories allow you to store multiple setups for instant recall. All 200 series pedals feature premium audio quality with 32-bit internal processing and offer support for external control via footswitches, an expression pedal, or MIDI.

The DD-200 Digital Delay brings together sounds and features inherited from the flagship DD-500 into an even smaller footprint. Twelve different modes offer an inspiring variety of delay colours from modern digital to classic analogue, letting you dial up everything from basic echoes to rich ambient pads and everything in-between. There's also a looper that's always ready to use, plus a selectable carryover function for seamless transitions between memories.

Version 1.1 Update: User Memory Expansion

The free Version 1.1 software update brings increased flexibility to the BOSS 200 series, greatly expanding the onboard memory capacity for storing and recalling sounds. There are now 128 user setups available. Setups can also be recalled directly via MIDI program change.

For optimal performance, stay up to date with the current DD-200 system software

Twelve Modes, Unlimited Sounds

With 12 different modes to choose from, the DD-200 provides nearly any flavour of delay in an amazingly compact size. At your command are super-clean digital delays, gritty analogue echoes, and spot-on retro sounds from the Roland RE-201 Space Echo and Binson Echorec 2. There's also a variety of options for creating reverse effects, lo-fi tones, and pulsing rhythmic sounds with layered delays. And with the Tera Echo, Shimmer, and Pad Echo modes, immersive ambient colours are just a knob twist away.

Dial in Sounds Fast

The DD-200 features a no-nonsense interface, making it easy to craft inspiring sounds in the heat of the moment. Essential delay parameters are provided on dedicated controls for direct, hands-on access. And in each mode, the function of the PARAM knob changes to parameters tailored for the selected type, delivering extended control with no need to menu dive.

Save and Recall Your Favourite Setups

The DD-200 features 127 user memories plus a real-time panel setting, giving you 128 total setups to choose from. Any range of consecutive memories and the panel setting can be assigned for scrolling access from a footswitch. It's also possible to limit the scrolling range or assign memories directly for even faster recall. If you crave deeper control, setups can be directly recalled via program change messages from an external MIDI device. And by enabling the carryover function, delay repeats will keep sounding as you change memories for smooth, free-flowing transitions.

Deep Real-Time Control

By default, the DD-200's multi-function footswitches provide access to basic functions like bypass, memory scrolling, tap tempo, and looper control. But you can easily reassign them to hold, warp, and many other functions. External control is also possible via footswitches or an expression pedal, and MIDI I/O is even provided on space-saving mini TRS jacks. Via MIDI, you're able to chain multiple 200 series pedals and select memories on all of them at once, and also control a wide range of functions from MIDI devices like the ES-8 and ES-5 effects switchers.

Ready-to-Go Looper

Any time you're ready, pressing the DD-200's two footswitches together puts you into looper mode. Up to 60 seconds of mono recording time is available, and operation is simple and direct with the onboard switches. And since the looper engine functions independently, you're able to develop expressive loops with any of the DD-200's rich delay sounds.

Start with a console-style drive circuit, add in a dash of obsolete germanium transistors and finish it off with a super intense DBA-style filter - BLAMO! You've got a sound heavy enough to crush on and sharp enough to slice a tomato.

The Filter control is extremely unconventional - it'll take you from bottomless, sub-woofered out lows to super searing and brittle highs, with a universe of tone in between. The Germanium Filter will help you find the sweet spot for your instrument in any situation - at a show, in the studio, or even stranded on the side of the highway after your tour van catches fire - hey, it happens!

The Gain knob starts with a dirty boost that then spans through saturated drive, spitting distortion, and a blistering fuzz tone. Get ready for your sound to be cranked up to infinity-and-a-half and captured on tape by the most incredible recording engineer you've ever heard - only there's no engineer and no studio. Just you, your guitar, your amp and the Germanium Filter.

Controls

EarthQuaker Devices Rainbow Machine v2 Polyphonic Pitch Mesmerizer Effects Pedal
Cat: 781717 Rel: 23 Jul 20

Pitch mesmerizer pedal
Notes: Welcome to the Rainbow Machine, in all its synthetic glory! This one is for experimenters, adventurists, and noisemakers. Totally not for purists and/or tone hounds. There are no natural sounds that come from this box. It takes modern DSP and uses it as a tool of future past to create real-time pitch shifting using digital oscillators.

Controls:
The Rainbow Machine has been completely re-imagineered from the pixie dust-covered ground up to be more versatile, twice as loud as the original, with an extended delay time, deeper chorus tones, silent flexiswitch footswitches on both the Activate (1) and Magic (2) functions, and most of all, more Magic.

The Rainbow Machine is built around a DSP pitch warping engine that's designed to be slightly imperfect; colored with digital remnants of the cosmic dust we've picked up across the multiverse. That is to say it's a cold digital beast made to pretend it has feelings.

The Pitch (3) control adjusts the frequency of the polyphonic pitch-warped harmony from a fourth below your input, to a third above, and every atonal pitch in-between. Noon is the unison position. Pitch may also be controlled via expression pedal. Use the Primary (4) function control to adjust the volume of the polyphonic harmony.

[Pro Tip: With the Pitch control set to noon, the Rainbow Machine acts as a chorus. Use the Primary control to adjust the wet signal volume and select the delay time with the Tracking control. The tracking improves as this control is increased, so turn it up for tighter tracking with a shorter delay time or turn it down for longer delays and more ambience.]

The Tracking (5) control adjusts the lag time between the wet and dry signals. Tone (6) rolls off some treble for a darker, vintage sound. Clockwise Tone settings are bright, counterclockwise is dark.

The Secondary (7) control adds an octave of the Primary harmony. When the Pitch control is above noon, Secondary adds an octave above the harmony. When the Pitch control is below noon, the Secondary control will add one octave below the harmony. With the Pitch set to noon, the Secondary control adds an additional chorus voice for modulated, triple-tracked tones. Use this control to blend in faux-shimmer sounds or a low-frequency rumble. It's up to you. From there, it's only a matter of how weird you wanna get.

And you can choose how weird you get with the Magic (8) control. This is a regeneration control that creates aliasing (among other things) by feeding the Primary and Secondary signals back on themselves and each other, and a bunch of other stuff no one understands.

With the Magic engaged and the control set low, you can squeeze a few extra repeats out of whatever setting you happen to be using. As you increase the Magic control, you'll start noticing increased ambience, resonant, edge-of-oscillation pitch-shifting delays, chorus, metallic digi-flanging, ascending (or descending) pixie trails, controllable self-oscillation, squalls of synthetic noise, whale song, and finally, distortion. It'll take you way beyond and open up your third eye, trust us. In conjunction with the Tracking control, the Magic creates wild pitch take offs and descends, chaos chorusing, shrieks, groans, gurgles, wizard-blessed wizardry, signal transformation, imminent destruction, and other general mayhem.

Maybe you only wanna get weird for a second? Okay, with the Rainbow Machine engaged, hold down the Magic footswitch, get weird, and then let go to return to your boring, old Magic-less guitar tone. Or, press the switch like normal, and the Magic remains engaged until you press the switch again. Ditto for the Activate switch. Press and hold to use the Rainbow Machine as a momentary effect, then let go to bypass; or feel free to press the switch like normal and use the Rainbow Machine like you would any other effects pedal.

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies, or multiple isolated-output supplies, are always recommended. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Walrus Audio Fable Granular Soundscape Generator Effects Pedal
Cat: 933053 Rel: 03 Apr 23

Unique soundscapes ranging from smooth ambience to bizarre reverberance to chaotic glitchy swarms.
Notes: Delay and granular sampling combine to create unique ambience effects, creative reverbs and glitchy chaos. Hugely versatile pedal with five contrasting programs.

Supplier's Notes:
In the high woodlands of the north, undiscovered by most inhabitants, there ruled a clan of old, mystic Treefolk. On the first new moon of spring, these Treefolk could be heard grafting limbs to grow their young - splicing bits of branches from each generation to produce the next line of Treefolk. These new beings keep the lifeblood of all who came before in their new skin. These sounds are in part very old, but in part very new. They are referred to as... Fable.

Let your storybook adventure grows with the Fable Granular Soundscape Generator. The Fable gives you five all-new programs centered around sample and chop delay algorithms to create bizarrely beautiful networks of sampled and resampled sounds. The Fable uses a powerful dual DSP architecture to combine delay programs in series with granular sampling algorithms, each with its own analogue feedback path. Find unique soundscapes ranging from smooth, flowing ambience; to bizarre, organic reverberance; to chaotic, glitchy swarms.

So, what exactly is this granular effect and why is it a magical experience when combined with delay? Granular is a digital processing technique of micro-sampling, wherein short samples called grains are read from a delay buffer. In the Fable, players can adjust these grains by manipulating their sampling length, position, and buffer size from which they're read. They can be played at double or half speed for pitch shift and time stretching effects, play them in reverse, read from multiple positions, and more, in order to achieve different effects.

It's a powerful but complex technique and Walrus Audio created five streamlined programs in the Fable that explore different aspects of its sonic range.

Programs

I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Granular

Program 1 runs a reverse delay into a reverse granular algorithm, in which sampled grains are played backwards. Reversal and re-reversal build up in the feedback paths, creating a complex and organically shifting soundscape. Turn grain size down for long, smooth reversed transients, and grain size up for stuttering reverse glitch madness.

II. Forward Delay into Octave Up Granular

Program 2 runs a forward delay into an octave-up granular program, in which sampled grains are played at double speed. Swarms of double-speed grains build up in the feedback path for bright and airy cascades of sound.

III. Analogue Delay into Octave Down Granular

Program 3 runs a warm, dark analogue-style delay into an octave-down granular program, in which sampled grains are played back at half speed. Slowed down repeats combine with analogue-style processing to create deep, thunderous footfalls and thick, murky ambience.

IV. Multi-Tap Granular into Multi-Tap Granular (Grain-Verb)

Program 4 runs two multi-tap granular algorithms in series, in which multiple samples are played back from each granular buffer simultaneously. Multiple points of sampled sound build upon each other in the feedback paths to create glitchy clouds and unique organic reverberance. Time in this program controls time-stretching of both granular algorithms, changing both the length and tonal character of the granular effect.

V. Forward Delay into Randomized Pitch Granular

Program 5 runs a forward delay into a randomized pitch granular program, in which each grain is played back at a randomly selected speed and direction, varying between pitched up double speed, pitched down half speed, normal speed, plus forward and reversed playback from grain to grain. Pitch changes with each new grain, so play with the X knob in this program to control the rate of randomized pitch modulation.

EarthQuaker Devices Grand Orbiter v3 Phase Machine Effects Pedal
Cat: 781668 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Phase machine pedal
Notes: Grand Orbiter is a 4 stage OTA-based phaser with a diverse feature set that can go from stationary and resonant to slow and mellow and on through fast and swirly. It has three way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation. The master Rate control fine tunes the speed of the LFO in each of these modes and the flashing red LED acts as a visual indicator, even when the effect is in bypass mode. The Depth control blends the shifted signal in with the dry signal and controls the intensity of the effect. The Sweep control governs the peak frequency of the phased signal's tone, turned full clockwise the sweep is lively and intense, whereas turning counter clockwise yields a darker, more laid back peak. The Resonance provides a wide range of control over regeneration and at higher settings adds a more pronounced and resonant tone. You can also use the Grand Orbiter as a true pitch vibrato with the "Phase/Vibrato" switch. When in "Vibrato" mode, the dry signal is removed and the Depth controls acts as a volume control. This pedal is 100% analog, true bypass and built by entirely by hand in beachy Akron, Ohio.

1. Sweep: Controls the frequency peak of the sweep. Higher peak clockwise, lower peak counter clockwise.

2. Rate 1,2,3: Changes the range of the speed control. Rate 1 is slow mode, Rate 2 is LFO kill to use the Orbiter as a fixed resonant filter, Rate 3 is fast mode.

3. Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO. Faster clockwise, slower counterclockwise.

4. Depth: Controls the amount of phase effect mixed with dry signal. Clockwise for more intense phasing, counterclockwise for less. In "Vibrato" mode, this acts as a volume control.

5. Phase/Vibrato: Cuts the dry signal to create a vibe/vibrato effect depending on the setting of the other controls. Vibrato is created by turning the resonance down low.

6. Resonance: Controls the regeneration of the phased signal. More resonant clockwise, more subtle counterclockwise.

Tech Specs:

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Pedal-specific transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies, or multiple isolated-output supplies, are always recommended. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Crazy Tube Circuits HiPower Amp & Speaker Simulation Effects Pedal
Cat: 986581 Rel: 02 Jan 24

Pedal + amp-in-a-box overdrives recreating legendary sounds, following the success of Crossfire and Unobtanium
Notes: HI POWER is Crazy Tube Circuits' next endeavour in pedal + amp-in-a-box overdrives recreating legendary sounds, following the success of Crossfire and Unobtanium.

It was inspired by the sonic combination of two British tone machines. The almighty Colorsound Power Boost meets the blistering high-headroom Hiwatt amp.

While the combination of these two units directly hints at the gear setup of David Gilmour and especially the gear used on Pink Floyd's album: Wish You Were Here (think the guitar solo sounds of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", "Have A Cigar") the sonic options are endless.

The orange enclosure silicon transistor circuit (Colorsound Power Boost) can deliver from a transparent clean boost to an all-out fuzz driving a tube amp to sonic bliss. Crazy Tube Circuits set out to clone the original unit featuring the true-to-the-original spec BC184 transistors running on 18V DC (via an internal voltage booster circuit).

The ultra-flexible 2-band Baxandall EQ circuit can add bite and low-end rumble to any setup. Crazy Tube Circuits used a reverse log gain pot (labelled as volume), compared to the linear taper pot found in the original units and acted as an on/off switch, to be able to set the amount of boost/overdrive more precisely. While the earlier units didn't feature a master volume control (only as an aftermarket mod - Pete Cornish made an external unit master volume for David Gilmour's Power Boost) Crazy Tube Circuits chose to include one that is setup in a way so that when it is all the way clockwise it is bypassed. Later versions of the Power Boost had 9V power supply and were renamed as the "Overdriver" due to the lower headroom and their ability to drive the signal earlier. They were offered in a grey enclosure and can be seen in the gear setups of Jeff Beck, Marc Bolan, etc. Crazy Tube Circuits chose to incorporate this version as well with a flip of a toggle switch (PWR-ODR toggle switch).

On the left side of the HI POWER you will find an all-analogue circuit set out to emulate the sound and feel of a Hiwatt amp. Following the path of the famed British tube amplifier, this circuit offers authentic amp tone and feel resembling guitar tones from guitar greats like David Gilmour, Pete Townsend, Jimmy Page, Noel Gallagher to name a few. From the big bold high-headroom clean sounds to the face-melting crunchy tones.

True to the last detail, Crazy Tube Circuits have included the full EQ section along with a presence control located at the negative feedback of the power amp simulation circuit. A headroom toggle switch selects between the high headroom 100w power section provided by a quartet of EL34s (think Hiwat DR103), or the lower headroom and compression provided by a 50W power section with a pair of EL34s when hit hard (think DR504). Similar in operation to the original amps the master volume was designed to produce more gain at higher settings.

Crazy Tube Circuits taken the design a step further by adding a switch to select between input channels of the amplifier. You can select between the full response of the normal channel of the amplifier, the increased presence and tight low end of the bright channel input or the "Gilmour-ish" enhanced frequency response and added gain of those inputs linked together. This follows the modifications that Pete Cornish did to all David Gilmour's Hiwatt amps.

Like their other dual overdrive/amp-in-a-box designs, Crazy Tube Circuits also included a passive effects loop to give you the option to connect your beloved pedals between your booster/overdrive and amp in a box or use the two sections as separate and independent effects when using an external bypass switcher/looper. Gilmour enthusiasts will love to insert their Big Muff, Tube Driver and Phase 90 in there. Note that all pedals inserted in the passive effects loop are still in the signal chain when any or both sections of HI POWER are in bypass.

HI POWER features a power-up bypass/engage pre-set function for the footswitches. That way you can select which state your pedal will go to when you plug the power supply. This function comes in especially handy to people that use remote pedal switchers / loopers as they only set the state of the pedal once and then operate from the controller.

EarthQuaker Devices Ghost Echo v3 Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 781647 Rel: 14 Jul 20

A vintage voiced reverb effects pedal.
Notes: You hear that EVP? It's the all new, extra spook-tacular, Ghost Echo calling out from beyond the void! The Ghost Echo is Earth Quaker's spooky take on the haunted amp-top spring reverberation units of yesteryear. This creepy analog/digital spring reverb emulation machine boasts a terrifying 30ms - 150ms of pre-delay, controllable via the Attack knob, for everything from a quick rockabilly slapback to viscous pools of ectoplasmic reverberations. When playing staccato, you'll hear the tortured trails of the reverb, resulting in more of a slapback or echo sound. Legato playing will reveal a massive ambient "depth" that fattens up the sound - and look out, it's right behind you!

Phew, that was close. The Dwell control sets the length and thickness of the decay, which is to say that it controls how long the disembodied spirits of notes no longer with us float through the ether. At the maximum setting it will descend into an infinite loop of self-oscillation. The Depth sets the intensity of the reverb, which you probably know as the wet/dry mix.

Controls:
1. Attack: Adjusts the length of the pre-delay, from 30ms at minimum to about 150ms at maximum. When the Dwell is set to self-oscillate, this will change the pitch of the oscillations.

2. Dwell: Adjusts the length of the decay. This will start to self oscillate around 3 O'clock, the pitch of the oscillations can be changed by turning the Attack control.

3. Depth: Mixes in the wet signal with the dry, unity is around noon and everything after is boosted.

Tech Specs:
This device is true bypass and uses electronic relay-based switching. Audio will not pass without power.

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies, or multiple isolated-output supplies, are always recommended. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Tsakalis AudioWorks Room #40 Marshall Mojo In A Box Boost Effects Pedal
Cat: 912602 Rel: 02 Dec 22

Marshall Mojo in a Box
Notes: Room #40

Marshall Mojo in a Box

Heavily inspired by the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP & JCM800 (2203/2204).

Over the years, Tsakalis have had many different types of Marshall amps on their workbench, some for repairs and others for customisation. Being huge fans of the sound of these classic amplifiers, Tsakalis decided to try and capture its mojo - the true essence of the soul of this sound - and carefully place it in a little box. Thus the Room #40 was born!

Using JFET technology, Tsakalis tried to stay loyal to the tone and feel of the following legendary Marshall amps: the non master volume series PLEXI Super Lead (1959/1987) & Super Bass (1992) and the master volume series JMP & JCM800 (2203/2204).

Tsakalis emphasized on emulating the compression and sag coming from the power amp section, when these amps are pushed to the edge, while at the same time giving access to two famous mods, mod #39 (PLEXI) and mod #34 (JMP & JCM800).

Finally, the Presence control was incorporated to make the sound adjustable to any circumstance, regardless of whether you are plugged into the front of an amp that may or may not have a bright cap or even straight to a power amp.

EarthQuaker Devices & Death By Audio Time Shadows II Subharmonic Multi-Delay Resonator Effects Pedal
Cat: 1021210 Rel: 06 Jun 24

Three-mode, space-time warping delay
Notes: The latest EarthQuaker Device actually is the same as the latest Death By Audio device - the TIME SHADOWS II - Subharmonic Multi-Delay Resonator. This new pedal is a joint collaboration that brings their sonic soundscape trips to your melted mind.

With the switch to the left Time Shadow's controls are completely the brainchild of EarthQuaker Devices resident genius Jamie Stillman. Flip the switch to the right, and you enter the head of the madman Oliver Ackermann from Death By Audio barely clutching to reality. Place the switch in the middle and enter a whole new realm of pitch warping delays brought to you by a telepathic mind-meld with a 5th dimensional dream being.

All three sounds are wildly different from each other and yet share a perfectly designed harmony to be completely complementary and suitable for every style and genre of music.

The EarthQuaker Devices side transforms whatever you play into the sound of a jazz space bazooka! It's a pitch morphed fuzz delay filter with so much attitude that you are actually intimidated. It takes the input signal, blows it out with power of digital distortion, blends it with a polyphonic sub octave, feeds it into a delay, then spits it out into a highly resonant envelope controlled lowpass filter.

The Death By Audio side is a multi-delay filter remorphinator that goes from icy shimmers to cosmic space caves of bouncing repeats.

The middle position is an energy beam that brings your earthly transmissions repetitively closer to the heavens while simultaneously diving deep into the hells.

In addition to all this madness we also bring you a user assignable expression jack and 6 preset slots to save and recall your favourite settings!

With these three unearthly delights, you should have everything you need to break brains and destroy monotony!

Old Blood Noise Endeavors Expression Ramper X3 Syncable Triple Expression Control Pedal With Presets
Cat: 1018263 Rel: 09 May 24

Syncable triple expression control pedal with presets
Notes: Expanding on the concept of our Expression Ramper, Old Blood Noise Endeavors present the Expression Ramper X3, an expression movement shaper capable of manipulating three expression jacks simultaneously with copious control. This utility device brings new sounds out of your old favourites, reinvigorating the sonic possibilities of your collection.

A Ramper is a device that creates motion on your expression-enabled devices. You choose point A, point B, and the way it moves between. It's utilitarian, but opens up a number of sounds from your existing pedals.

The Expression Ramper X3's allows you to set the shape of the LFO (the thing that determines the expression motion). There are three standard shapes (Triangle, Square and One Shot), and three random variations of those shapes. To access the alternative shapes, simply hold down the tap button while switching the Shape toggle.

Triangle, for a linear motion between A and B, starting and ending at A and hitting B at halfway on the LFO cycle.

Alternate shape: repeatedly moves to a random spot between A and B in a linear fashion.

Square, to snap between A and B, spending half of the LFO cycle in each position.

Alternate shape: immediately moves to a new random spot between A and B at the start of each cycle.

1 SHOT, to move linearly either from A to B or B to A (depending on the starting point) and then stop.

Alternate shape: each press of the footswitch snaps to a new random spot between A and B.

The device's Footswitches set things in motion. A stomp of the footswitches will initiate motion according to the shape and LFO speed you've set, and another stomp will stop that motion. By holding a footswitch, you can momentarily stop or start the movement, and then revert to where you were before when that footswitch is let go. Most of the time, when not in motion, a Ramper will be in the A position, unless using one of the 1 Shot modes or currently setting the B position. To know where your Ramper is, use your ears as an auditory guide and the two LEDs as a visual guide.

Expression Ramper X3 is more than three Rampers in one box, there are a plethora of additional controls to tempo sync multiple Rampers.

The SYNC toggles on Rampers II and III determine whether they are synced to Ramper I. ALL syncs everything about the Ramper: the output of the completely synced Ramper will match Ramper I's output exactly. RATE syncs only the rate of the Ramper: A, B, Shape, and motion settings stay independent, but the rate is tempo synced. In this setting, changing the Rate knob assigns subdivisions: 1/4, 1/2, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x speeds are all available. OFF deactivates any syncing, so the Ramper can act fully independently.

Ramper I (the green one) has a TAP button. This can be used to tap in the desired LFO speed. It begins syncing at two taps, but multiple taps in a row at similar BPMs will average out to increase accuracy. Note: the slowest possible tap tempo is 30 BPM, so taps outside of this range will be disregarded.

Ramper I also has external control via the jack. It can be used in three different ways, configurable via the internal dipswitch. It can be configured for TRS Expression input, External Tap Tempo with a footswitch, like our 'Scooch' Tap Tempo device using a TS cable and tap away. Or for External Tap Tempo using a pulse, turn 1 off, 2 off, 3 off. This is optimized to sync tempo across two ERX3s by plugging into the second ERX3's Tap Out jack, but will also work with other external pulse sources.

There is also a TAP OUT jack on the side of Triple Ramper. This continually outputs 3.3V pulses based on Ramper 1's tempo. In this way, you can sync external units (like another Expression Ramper X3) to Ramper 1.

Happy Ramping!

EarthQuaker Devices Data Corrupter Modulated Monophonic Harmonizing PLL Effects Pedal
Cat: 781617 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Modulated monophonic harmonizing PLL pedal.
Notes: The Data Corrupter is a monophonic analog harmonizing PLL with modulation. It takes your input signal and brutally amplifies it into a crushing square wave fuzz tone that is then multiplied, divided and modulated to create a wild, yet repeatable, three-voice guitar synthesizer.

The Master Oscillator is the central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter's cyberpunk hive mind. It feeds your input to the signal harvester in its original octave (Unison), one octave down (-1) or two octaves down (-2) for maximum compatibility with your preferred instrument and frequency register. Once you've chosen your input octave, then the Data Corrupter will perform its calculations and spit out an analog synthesized frequency, which can be pitch-bent for portamento or vibrato sounds by the Frequency Modulator! From there, you can blend in one of eight Subharmonic intervals up to three octaves below the input and mix in a square wave fuzz tone for maximum data corruption.

The Master Oscillator (1) is the central nervous system at the heart of the Data Corrupter's cyberpunk hive mind. The three-position switch on the Master Oscillator control panel labeled Root (2) feeds your input to the signal harvester in its original octave (Unison), one octave down (-1) or two octaves down (-2). Use the Master Oscillator's Root Switch to fine tune the Data Corrupter's tracking response for maximum compatibility with your preferred instrument and frequency register. Once you've chosen your input octave, the Data Corrupter will perform its calculations and spit out a synthesized frequency, the octave and/or interval of which may be selected via the Master Oscillator's eight-position rotary switch.

The Voice Mixer's Oscillator Control (3) adjusts the Master Oscillator blend.

The Frequency Modulator (4) applies pitch-bend modulation to the Master Oscillator. In Glide mode, you'll hear a smooth portamento as each note slides into the next. In Vibrato mode the pitch modulates up and down for a retro sci-fi laser effect.

The Subharmonic (5) assimilates the input signal into one of eight lower octave programs between one and three octaves below the original. For a more stable lower octave, set the Subharmonic's Root Switch to the Unison position, which divides the Square Wave input signal, and removes the Frequency Modulator from the Subharmonic signal path.

To unleash the cracked machine lurking within the mainframe, set the Subharmonic Root Switch to Oscillator and try not to look away as the sonic malware you just installed mangles your input signal into the sum and difference of both the Master Oscillator and Subharmonic with the Frequency Modulator applied to the upper and lower octaves.

If you think you're brave enough, set the Subharmonic Root Switch to Oscillator and try experimenting with different Master Oscillator and Subharmonic programs to wind up the doomsday clock and inch ever closer to the Singularity. Adjust the Voice Mixer's Subharmonic Control to set the lower octave volume.

Finally, (or is it?) the Square (6) control located top-left on the Voice Mixer blends in a fuzzed-out square-wave take of your input in its original octave.

The heart of this pedal is based around a CMOS Phase Locked Loop (PLL) IC. In a nutshell, the PLL takes your input signal and compares its phase and frequency against an oscillator, generates an output proportional to their difference then feeds it back to the oscillator. This then causes the oscillator to lock onto the input signal and generate a synthesized frequency. Pretty cool, right? This synthesized frequency is referred to as the Master Oscillator on the Data Corrupter.

This device takes its inspiration from the Electrax Synthax and the "Basic Frequency Synthesizer" by Ray Marston. Neither of these were really intended to be guitar effect pedals and a lot of work went into creating the Data Corrupter to provide excellent tracking and long sustain. We think you'll find it more expressive and accurate than pretty much any other PLL based effect pedal around.

This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

EarthQuaker Devices Aqueduct True-Pitch Vibrato Effects Pedal
Cat: 781154 Rel: 14 Jul 20

Vibrarto pedal
Notes: Aqueduct is a vintage-inspired pitch vibrato with eight modulation modes delivering synth-like sonar pulses, touch-sensitive frequency modulation, gentle rolling pitch-wobbles, steady kosmische pulsations, rapid trills, slimy sonic squiggles, whammy bar wiggles, pitch bends, pseudo-flange, and anything else your pitch-warped brain can picture in your murky mind's eye.

Controls
The controls are simple. Rate (1) adjusts the LFO speed which controls how quickly the pitch rises and falls. Depth (2) controls the LFO amplitude, adjusting the intensity of the vibrato effect. The rotary switch labeled Mode (3) selects between one of eight LFO waveshape and envelope combinations which drastically alter the character of the modulation and make Aqueduct adaptable to nearly any musical situation.

Modes
Sine: The smoothest and most subtle of all waveforms, sine waves are most commonly associated with classic amp-like vibrato. Plug in, turn on, and commence the Chooglin'.

Triangle: Triangle waves have a sharper rise and fall than sine waves with a more pronounced pitch bend at the peak of each LFO cycle.

Ramp: Like a triangle wave with a twist. The Ramp waveform has a sharp sonar pulse followed by a rapid downward slope with a synthesizer-like sustain and release. This is where things start to get a little weird.

Square: Square waves are the most rigid and abrupt of the waveforms. Rather than gliding smoothly between pitches, square waves produce an instant on-or-off transition between notes. Use this mode for trills when you get tired of doing hammer-ons and pull-offs.

Random: This waveform isn't a waveform at all as much as it's a drunken master of modulation who slurs your notes into an unpredictable assortment of greasy pitch-bends before disappearing at last call and leaving you stuck with the tab. It has a "warped record" effect at low Depth settings and becomes sloppier and more randomized as you increase the Depth control.

Env D: This is Envelope-Controlled Depth mode. The waveshape is set to a sine wave, the speed of which may be adjusted using the Rate control. The Depth control sets the sensitivity of the envelope - the point at which the effect kicks in as you play. In this mode, your pick attack sets the intensity of the modulation. The harder you dig in, the more pronounced the effect. Try it during your next motorik jam.

Env R: This is Envelope-Controlled Rate mode. In this mode, the input level (i.e. pick attack) controls the LFO rate. The LFO uses a sine waveshape. Play harder for faster modulation or lay low for slower modulation speeds. The Rate control adjusts the sensitivity of the envelope. Depth selects the LFO intensity.

Env P: This is Envelope-Controlled Pitch mode, which has been lovingly nicknamed "The My Bloody Valentine setting". If your instrument doesn't have a tremolo bar, it does now. In this mode, the LFO is set to a sine waveshape, and frequency modulation is controlled by the dynamics of your pick attack and not the LFO. Do yourself a favor and try this one with Flexi-Switching™.
Depth sets the wet/dry mix. This is the only mode that contains a wet/dry mix and may be set to taste to create touch-sensitive dynamic vibrato, chorus, flanger, or tactile pitch drops. Full counterclockwise is all dry, full clockwise is all wet. With this control set to noon you will get a 50/50 mix with a small amount of phase cancellation.
Rate sets the sensitivity and overall range of the pitch bend.

EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master v3 Digital Delay & Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 781637 Rel: 28 Jul 20

Digital delay & reverb effects pedal
Notes: The Dispatch Master is a hi-fi digital Delay & Reverb Device that combines independent delay and reverb effects into one space-saving enclosure, so you can keep deep ambient echoes (or just a quick slapback) on speed-dial.

The best-selling EarthQuaker Devices pedal just got better with new Flexi-Switchr Technology. Want to dip into ambient delay and reverb sounds for just one note? Press and hold the footswitch for as long as you use the effect, release it when you're finished, and resume your regularly scheduled dry sound. To use the Dispatch Master as a normal effects pedal, press the switch once to activate and again to bypass.

To Use Both Effects at the Same Time, Simply Adjust all Controls to Taste:

The Mix (1) control is a wet/dry blend that adjusts the overall level of the affected signal.

Time (2) sets the delay time from 0ms to 1500ms (1.5 seconds).

Reverb (3) controls the amount of reverb. Counterclockwise is less reverb, clockwise is more reverb.

Repeats (4) controls the regeneration of the delay signal. When the Repeats control is set to maximum, you'll get infinite repeats without runaway self-oscillation, which makes it great for creating drones, dialing in the ultimate post-rock guitar sound without feedback, or just having fun.

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Delay Only:

Turn the Reverb control all the way down.

Adjust the Time, Repeats, and Mix controls to taste:

To Use the Dispatch Master as a Reverb Only:

Turn the Time and Repeats controls all the way down

Adjust the Reverb and Mix controls to taste

THIS IS IMPORTANT! In Reverb-only mode, the Repeats control has a secondary function. It can be used to adjust the decay, depth, and tonal quality of the reverb! Turn it up for more dynamics and a thicker tone.

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. Do not run at higher voltages!

Pigtronix Gloamer Volume Swell Effects Pedal With Compressor
Cat: 910270 Rel: 23 Nov 22

Gloamer is an all-analog, polyphonic amplitude synthesizer that alters the attack and decay time of any sound source without sacrificing the fidelity of the original tone.
Notes: Dusky drama

Gloamer is an all-analogue, polyphonic amplitude synthesizer that alters the attack and decay time of any sound source without sacrificing the fidelity of the original tone. Its attack function provides a pick-triggered volume swell: a cinematic "slow gear" effect that is smooth and controllable with variable timing from extremely fast to very slow. The volume swell cycle can be reset at any moment by muting, allowing players to craft bowed string-like lines and chords with ease. Gloamer also features a powerful optical compressor that can add subtle punch or extreme sustain, helping to maintain a smooth volume swell effect even with very long attack times. A Volume knob controls loudness at the peak of the attack cycle, while a master Blend control allows players to layer an uncompressed clean sound in with the volume swell effect. Additionally, when activated, the Decay function causes notes to fade out once the attack cycle is complete. When the decay cycle is completed, an auto-reset function causes the attack to begin again immediately, as long as there is audio input. This allows you to create a wide range of undulating, asymmetrical tremolos at slower settings as well as pulsating stutter effects when using faster attack and decay times.

Knob-by-knob

Volume: Sets the master output volume of the effect when engaged.
Compression: Determines the balance of clean and compressed signal.
Blend: Determines the balance of clean signal and effect.
Attack: Determines the duration of time it takes for a note to swell in from silent to full volume.
Decay: Determines the duration of time it takes for a note to fade out from full volume to silence.
Sensitivity: Determines how much input signal is needed to reset the attack and decay cycle.
Ready (LED): Signals when the pedal is armed and ready to begin the attack and/or decay cycle.

A hi-fi attack and decay master
Gloamer was designed to allow players to change the nature of their attack and decay while maintaining pristine, hi-fidelity audio. Easily swell blooming single note lines or full, lush chords and become the string section you've always wanted to hire but can't afford.

Mooer Audio Ocean Machine II Delay/Reverb/Looper Effects Pedal
Cat: 1045995 Rel: 20 Jan 25

Dual delay, reverb and looper effects pedal
Notes: Excellent value from the updated Mooer delay/reverb/looper. The Ocean Machine II features improved sound quality all round, plus expanded loop memory up to a total of 120 seconds.

Supplier's Notes:
Similarly to the original, the Ocean Machine II offers two independent delay modules, each with nine different delay types of up to two seconds, including household names such as digital, tape, and echo delays, as well as more abstract options, such as galaxy, crystal, and rainbow. A high-fidelity reverb module complements these delays with nine reverb types, as well as a shimmer effect. Each delay and reverb effect can also be 'frozen,' creating static ambient drones, an effect that sounds particularly impressive considering the pedal's DSP upgrades.

While the original Ocean Machine's looping capabilities provided just 44 seconds of loop storage, the new addition features an impressive 120 seconds. To experiment with this feature, along with Ocean Machine II's other sonic capabilities, users can use an intuitive LCD screen along with 12 knobs (four for each delay and reverb module) to easily adjust parameters within the device's 'Play Mode.' Three footswitches are also provided to facilitate independent effect toggling, tap tempo control, looper interfacing, and a preset selector.

Once the guitarist has crafted an interesting effect chain, they can save their work as a preset and enter 'Patch Mode,' in which they can toggle between saved settings with each of the three footswitches. In total, the Ocean Machine II provides eight preset storage banks, each of which supports up to three presets, resulting in a total of 24 save slots.

The pedal's versatility is further enhanced by its programmable parallel and serial effect chain hybrid, a signature element of Devin Townsend's tone creation. This feature allows users to customize the order of effects, providing endless creative possibilities. Further programming options can be accessed through the LED screen, which impressively includes synchronizable MIDI connectivity, a feature that was absent in the original Ocean Machine.

In addition to MIDI, the pedal supports various external control systems, including expression pedal input through a TRS cable. Furthermore, the pedal is compatible with MOOER's F4 wireless footswitch, allowing for extended capabilities for mapping presets and other features. A USB-C port is also available for firmware updates, ensuring that the pedal remains up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.

Considering the experimental nature of Devin Townsend's performances, MOOER has also gone above and beyond to facilitate the seamless integration of Ocean Machine II into any audio setup. The device features full stereo inputs and outputs, as well as adjustable global EQ settings, letting users tailor their sound to suit different environments. Guitarists can also customize their effect chains to be used with true bypass or DSP (buffered) bypass, depending on their preferences and specific use cases.

Overall, Ocean Machine II brings higher quality delay and reverb algorithms, augmented looping support, and various updated connections to Devin Townsend's original device. As per MOOER's typical standard, the pedal is engineered to withstand the rigors of touring and frequent use, allowing guitars to bring their special creations and atmospheric drones to the stage.

Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium Raw Dual Overdrive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1024506 Rel: 22 Jul 24

Dual channel amp & overdrive effects pedal
Notes: The ultimate overdrive? Raw version of the Unobtanium pedal adds hand-selected NOS germanium transistors to the circuit. Filthy 60s vibes on tap here. Hard to beat.

Supplier's Notes:
A rare sonic element with alternate refinement - meet the new Unobtanium RAW edition!

The main composition has stayed the same as the standard version of the pedal: A recreation of the K-style overdrive true to the last detail finds its place at the right section of the pedal while the left section features two D-style amplifier voicings, the most unobtainable tube amplifiers in the world.

For the RAW edition, Crazy Tube Circuits have added a couple of magic ingredients to the clipping section of the K side: a set of hand selected New Old Stock Mullard/Valvo labelled OC45 germanium transistors from the 60s.

This is the first K-type circuit to feature germanium transistors!

Many germanium transistor types and found that the OC45 transistors added a supernatural feel with organic compression for increased gain and sustain. Fear not - the standard sounds are still there in the stock setting where you listen to germanium diodes clipping like in the original unit.

The amp-in-a-box side of the RAW version is glassier and punchier than the standard version. Think of singing blues rock and classic rock sounds that cut through the mix, flawlessly performing with all kinds of different guitars/ pickups combinations. Think of having the rock/jazz toggle switch set in the rock setting.

As with the standard version, Unobtanium Raw features a passive effects loop to give you the option to connect your beloved pedals between your booster/overdrive and amp in a box or use the two sections as separate and independent effects when using an external bypass switcher/looper.

Note that all pedals inserted in the passive effects loop are still in the signal chain when any or both sections of are in bypass mode.

Unobtanium Raw features a power-up bypass/engage pre-set function for the footswitches. That way you can select which state your pedal will go to when you plug the power supply. This function comes in especially handy to people that use remote pedal switchers/loopers as they only set the state of the pedal once and then operate from the controller.

Main sonic differences between standard and RAW versions:

K-side:

Standard version: MOD setting = silicon diodes added in combination with the stock germanium diodes in the clipping section for higher output/less compression.

Raw version: OC45 setting = New Old Stock Mullard/Valvo OC45
germanium transistors used instead of stock germanium diodes for
clipping resulting in higher gain and sustain/compression.

D-side:

Standard version: Smoother jazz/blues oriented tones.

Raw version: Glassier blues rock oriented tones.

The RAW version will not replace the standard one, that will continue to thrive. It will be built in limited quantities, and will stay out there for as long as there is stock of the beautiful NOS Mullard/Valvo OC45.

Warning: This unit was designed for 9V DC input only. Do not use a higher voltage power supply

While the Octave section can make the floor rumble and shake! No matter if you're feeling that high-flying octave-up, a deep-diving octave-down or a spaced-out blend of both, hit that footswitch and squeeze out every last funky drop.

Need more juice? Crank the master volume to fine-tune your output, while the pedal's internal voltage doubling gives your tone headroom for days. True Bypass keeps your original signal pure when you step off the funk train.

The Phonkify X isn't just a pedal. It's a total vibe machine, a groove generator and a tone tailor for the funky-hearted. Whether you're laying down tight pocket grooves or blasting off into experimental soundscapes, the Phonkify X has the tools to elevate your sounds right into the stratosphere.

Boss RV-200 Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 996857 Rel: 19 Feb 24

Reverb effects pedal
Notes: Part of the new Boss 200 series, the RV-200 is a seriously classy reverb. With a choice of 12 algorithms, things quickly move from classic ambience to the pitch-shifted arpeggiated madness of the new Arpverb program.

Supplier's Notes:
Ambient Bliss

The RV-200 delivers inspiring reverbs and premium sound in the streamlined BOSS 200 series design. Twelve versatile reverb types-including the newly developed Arpverb-provide everything from subtle spatial colour to complex, dreamy textures for ambient explorations. Quickly dial in sounds with the fast-access interface. Save favourites in 127 memories. And take performances to the next level with flexible onboard footswitches, deep external control support, and head-turning creative tools like Warp, Twist, and more.

Studio-Grade Processing

The RV-200 features a powerful reverberation engine with class-leading sound quality, backed by custom BOSS DSP, 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating point processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate. Every algorithm offers true studio-grade performance, with exceptional detail and definition from the shortest early reflections to long, floating tails spanning multiple seconds.

Twelve Distinctive Reverbs

From essentials like Room and Hall to deeply immersive reverbs like Shimmer, Slowverb, and the cool new Arpverb, the RV-200 gives you the ambient colours you need for every song and style.

Room

Simulates the reverberation characteristics of a small room. Select from four room sizes with the Param knob.

Hall

Simulates the reverberation characteristics of a concert hall. Select from three hall sizes with the Param knob.

Plate

Simulates the reverberation characteristics of a studio plate reverb. Balance the high and low damping of the reverb with the Param knob.

Spring

Simulates the distinctive sound of the hardware spring reverb effect found in guitar amplifiers. Select the number of springs with the Param knob.

Shimmer

Creates long, dreamlike reverberations rich in harmonic content. Adjust the harmonic character and diffusion with the Param knob.

Arpverb

A newly developed BOSS reverb that creates an arpeggio type of sound with evocative pitch-shifted tails. Use the Param knob to adjust the attack of the arpeggio sound.

Slowverb

A sweet ambient reverb with gentle attack and soft harmonics. Param adjusts the amount of direct sound blended with the reverb, allowing you to create deep, immersive tones.

Modulate

Adds a modulation effect to a rich hall reverb sound. Adjust the modulation depth with the Param knob.

+Delay

Combines a delay with reverb, with the length of both effects controlled with the Time knob. Use the Param knob to adjust the delay level.

Lo-Fi

A specialty reverb with limited bandwidth and added distortion. Adjust the distortion amount with the Param knob.

Gate

A distinctive reverb effect that abruptly cuts off the reverb tail. Use the Param knob to control the timing of the gate effect.

Reverse

Plays the reverb sound in reverse. Adjust the high-frequency character with the Param knob.

Instant Sound Creation

Like all 200 series pedals, the RV-200 offers a powerful yet intuitive panel that lets you realize great sounds with minimal effort. Along with core parameters such as reverb time, effect level, and pre-delay, there are variable high and low filters to perfectly balance the verb for your application. You also have a density control to adjust the weight of the sound, plus a parameter knob with access to multiple sound-shaping tools that are unique to each type.

Expressive Performance Control

The RV-200 includes memories for storing 127 reverb sounds, so your favourite setups are always ready to go. Two onboard footswitches pack a lot of performance versatility, with numerous options to reassign their targets to suit your needs. For example, you can bypass the effect, scroll through memories, and activate a Hold function to carry on the reverb effect for as long as the switch is pressed. It's also possible to assign powerful performance effects such as Warp, Twist, and Fade.

EarthQuaker Devices Aurelius Tri-Voice Chorus Effects Pedal
Cat: 934688 Rel: 11 Apr 23

A tri-voice chorus effects pedal.
Notes: The Aurelius is not your run of the mill chorus pedal. This compact, beautifully cased wonder is a three mode chorus with six programmable presets and an expression control. Inspired by the 1970s CE-1 Chorus Ensemble pedal, this digital unit has been tirelessly tweaked and fine-tuned to give you an all-encompassing chorus and vibrato experience like nothing else.

Choose from Vibrato, Chorus and Rotary mode and manipulate their Width, Rate and Balance to achieve your ideal sound. Shift seamlessly from one mode to another to cop a blend that is all your own. Just one simple tap of the Preset (Save/Recall) and you can summon up to six settings of your choosing at will.

Welcome, fellow frequency chaser! Kudos to you for referring to the official manual of this majestic Device rather than diving into its powers blindly. Or equally likely, traveling down a YouTube pedal demo rabbit hole where you eventually find yourself watching a tutorial on how to make gnocchi from scratch at 3am. You're about to embark on a magical journey with this mighty Aurelius pedal in front of you.

You see, this is not simply your run of the mill chorus pedal. This compact, beautifully cased wonder is a three-mode chorus with six programmable presets and an expression control. Choose from Vibrato (V) Mode, Chorus (C) Mode, and Rotary (R) Mode and manipulate their Width, Rate, and Balance to achieve your ideal sound. Shift seamlessly from one mode to another to cop a blend that is all your own. Just one simple tap of the Preset ("Save/Recall") switch and you can summon up to six settings of your choosing at will.

Feeling pretty powerful now, aren't you?

Inspired by the 1970s CE-1 Chorus Ensemble pedal, this digital unit has been tirelessly tweaked and fine-tuned to give you an all-encompassing chorus and vibrato experience like nothing else. Inspiration the 1940s and the advent of the Leslie speaker to boldly capture the sound of its rotating baffle system for the Rotary mode. Earthquaker studied the way that the horn and the rotor moved on Leslie speakers and emulated the phasing and speeds of the low frequency oscillator, but they exaggerated the hell out of them to make it sonically suitable for guitar, bass or your instrument of choice.

And by popular demand, like many Earthquaker pedals, this is equipped with an expression control so you can use any TRS expression pedal to manipulate the Width, Rate or Balance. Put it in the Vibrato mode and you'll have a really subtle chorus with a seasick vibrato and alternate quickly between the two seamlessly. And that's only just one mode. The possibilities are endless. Think about it.

This compact world of chorus in a box will fit on any pedalboard and is so intuitive and easy to use that you most likely won't have to refer to this manual ever again.

Each and every Aurelius is hand crafted in Akron, Ohio, USA and is inspected by the spirit of speaker innovator Donald Leslie.

Flexi-Switchr Technology

This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

Power

This device takes a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

EarthQuaker Devices Sea Machine v3 Super Chorus Effects Pedal
Cat: 781720 Rel: 14 Jul 20

Chorus pedal
Notes: The Sea Machine is a chorus pedal with as many modulation possibilities as there are fish in the ocean. That's a lot of fish. And a lot of modulation. From subtle, shimmery chorus sounds, to wobbly, seasick, warbly pitch-bent detuning that rocks the boat, the Sea Machine is the audio bait that'll help you reel in the big one.

The Sea Machine ain't no one-trick seahorse. With a mix of standard and unique controls, everything from subtle warble, classic Leslie, seasick pitch bends, strangled alien sounds, stunted arpeggiations and many more far out sounds are available. Or you could just use it as a chorus. That works, too. Oh, and if you're a bass player who fancies themselves a fan of the classic 80s post-punk bass sound, the Sea Machine is pretty much just like (tone) heaven.

Controls:
1. Animate: How far the pitch shifted signal swings, lower levels equals a tighter and more focused shift a la traditional chorus. As you increase the control a more wild and animated pitch shift begins to emerge.

2. Dimension: Adds a slight slap-back at low levels, reverb-like ambiance at mid levels and an echo-resonance that will lead to self-oscillation at max.

3. Intensity: Adjusts how much modulated signal is blended in with the dry signal. Unity for this control is right around noon, everything above that is boosting the modulated signal.

4. Depth: Adjusts how strongly the LFO modulates the delay time.

5. Shape: Goes from triangle wave to square wave as you turn clockwise.

6. Rate: This sets the speed of the LFO. The miniature LED will blink to the tempo, even in bypass mode.

Digitech SDrum Strummable Drums Pedal
Cat: 976051 Rel: 20 Dec 23

Drum machine pedal
Notes: DigiTech announces SDRUM Strummable Drums, the first-ever intelligent drum machine for guitarists and bassists. Boasting studio-quality samples and five professional sounding drum kits and BeatScratch technology, SDRUM allows users to create drum patterns by simply strumming strings.

As a player scratches across guitar or bass strings, he or she "teaches" SDRUM a kick/snare pattern that defines a desired beat. Once that pattern is established, SDRUM then enhances and enriches the beat, resulting in a realistic accompanying drum part. From the five different kits, users are able to choose sounds appropriate to a broad variety of musical styles. Via the KICK and SNARE Pads, players can audition the various kits and tap in specific beats, while the GUITAR AUDITION Button enables the user to turn the drum output on or off while strumming.

Up to 36 songs can be stored in SDRUM, and the unit supports three different components - e.g. verse, chorus, bridge - for each that can be switched on in real-time to easily facilitate live performance and aid in composition and creativity. Additionally, JamSync functionality facilitates compatibility with JamMan loopers, further boosting SDRUM's capacity in concert, practice, and studio settings.

The compact SDRUM (5.25" x 3.15" x 2.3") is similar in size to most compact effects units and fits easily on standard pedalboards. A sturdy metal chassis, robust footswitch, and four knobs (GROOVE/KIT, LEVEL, TEMPO, and HAT/RIDES) ensure that SDRUM is stage- and road-ready.

Eliminating the need to sift through libraries of rhythm patterns in search of an appropriate match for individual songs and styles, SDRUM is the fastest way to go from a beat idea to a working drum track.

EarthQuaker Devices The Depths v2 Analogue Optical Vibe Machine Effects Pedal
Cat: 781628 Rel: 28 Jul 20

An analogue optical vibe machine effects pedal.
Notes: The Depths is Earth Quaker Devices' take on the classic optical vibe circuit. Now you can swab the decks with the same lush, pulsating, three-dimensional swirling sound you know and love, with some modern accouterments for all you land-lubbers out there.

The Depths is optimized for use with all kinds of instruments, pickups, and to play well with dirt, so nobody's left waiting on shore. If it's got a 1/4" output, plug it in and get deep!

Controls:
1. Intensity: This controls how subtle or intense the overall effect is. Counterclockwise from noon are the more subtle, classic sounds. Clockwise from noon are the more drastic and intense sounds.

2. Voice: Dials in the overall sound. Turn it clockwise for a fuller sound with more lows, bring it back for a thinner, more midrange focused tone.

3. Rate: Controls the speed of the effect. Counterclockwise for slow, clockwise for fast.

4. Level: Controls the volume of the effect. Unity is around 1 o'clock, everything above that is boost.

5. Throb: This controls the low end pulse. It may not be immediately evident on the bridge pickup, but switch to the neck or add some dirt and it comes alive. All the way up for more throb, dial it back for less. Works best when the Voice is set to a warmer tone.

EarthQuaker Devices Organizer v2 Polyphonic Organ Emulator Effects Pedal
Cat: 781694 Rel: 14 Jul 20

Polyphonic organ emulator pedal
Notes: The Organizer is a polyphonic organ emulator designed to mimic the organ tones of yesteryear crossed with the highly unique "Guitorgan". It has a warm and very analog feel with a hint of Leslie warble that is unlike other modern octave shifters. It is simple to dial in and tracks chords as well as single notes perfectly all over the neck on both guitar and bass. Not only can the Organizer be used on strings, it has been widely used on everything from vocals and synths to horns and drums. If it makes sound, the Organizer can handle it! The Organizer uses a mix of analog and DSP circuitry with true bypass switching and an all analog dry signal path.

Controls:
1. Up: Level control for the octave up.

2. Down: Level control for the octave down.

3. Choir: This control takes a mix of the octave Up and octave Down setting and regenerates it. The end result is an additional 2 octaves up, 2 octaves down and direct signal with a slight delay that adds a "church organ" like feel. This control only works if the octave Up and octave Down are in use.

4. Lag: Delay control for the wet signal. Full counterclockwise is minimal delay. Delay time increases as it rotates clockwise.

5. Tone: Rolls off the high end as you dial it counterclockwise.

6. Direct: Level control for the analog dry signal.
