Having established DeepSystems as a radio show some years back, Matt Pond (one third of the BitterSuite collective) has decided to launch a record label under the same name. Given his contacts, it's a smart move. Two close pals - BitterSuite member Jon Gray and Dan '1Dan' Rodgers - join forces as Tales Ov Rossi, laying down a slowly shifting chunk of deep, heads-down house that stretches across one side of the 12". On the flip, Gray goes solo under the BitterSuite banner, delivering the two-part "Familiar Currents". Both versions sound heavily inspired by the dense percussion, expansive musicality and rich soundscapes of Ron Trent.
