Review: The Groove Access label kicks on to a third release here and it comes in the form of a split EP between Rob Threezy and Maddjazz. Threezy kicsk off on the a-side with 'Threezy', a panel beating techno workout with leggy drums and elastic bass that will spangled any crowd. His second cut, 'Liquid Metal' is another masterclass in bendy bass and chunky drum funk, this time with vocal stabs layered in for extra spice. Maddjazz then steps up to kick off the flipside in frantic acid laced fashion with all sorts of OG Chicago house ranges over booming techno grooves. 'TR DrumTool' is a final weapon for dance floor destruction.

Review: (Emotional) Especial looks to the emergent producer that is Chez De Milo for a new EP that collides the energy of Glastonbury, historic echoes of the free party scene and the psychedelic electronics of Bristol and the West Country into four fresh new cuts here. 'Et Al' is a mystic late-night house cut with crisp hits and spooky synths keeping you on edge, while 'Gieser' is dark and paranoid as the churning beats and snaking leads tempt you into the shadows. Review: Chicago extraordinaire Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being's third solo album is titled There Is No Acid In This House, and sees him return to Soul Jazz Records. Using his idiosyncratic electronic sound, Moss takes influence from the experimental minds of fellow Windy City innovators such as The Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, The Art Ensemble of Chicago and Sun Ra, through to icons of his hometown's house music scene like Ron Hardy, Marshall Jefferson, Lil Louis and others who have defined Chicago's musical universe over the last half a century.

Review: DJ Sotofett returns with a double 12" packed with eight hard-hitting, underground techno tracks. Review: Heat Recordings presents a special release marking the comeback of The Parallax Corporation (I-F & Intergalactic Gary) after a 20-year hiatus, alongside works by Ron Morelli, Robert Bergman, and Redray. This compilation features four tried and tested cuts from real-life gatherings, assembled onto a single disc for maximum impact. On Side-1, The Parallax Corporation's 'Shadow Figures' - A catchy and unusual blend of house and techno, sure to capture attention with its creative clash of sounds. Ron Morelli's 'Hot On Wheels' is afuturistic romp featuring unusual sounds that propel the track into the future For Side-2, Robert Bergman's 'Acid Tapes 88' is a deep acid cut, heady and raw, paying homage to the underground sound of house and techno. Lastly, Redray's 'Early Swang' harnessing Detroit and Chicago's legacy in all their glory. This has us flashbacking to our warehouse days, offering a nostalgic yet fresh take on the genre. Heat05 is as strong as it is diverse, offering essential gear for those exploring the depths of minimal, experimental and acid techno.

Review: Anton Kubikov is a regular presence in the underground and now he makes his debut on equally long-established RAWAX. 'Jet Jet' opens up with some super seductive and silky deep house with deft and soulful chords over nimble beats. 'Outback Deep' is another hum sound this time with slower beats and dubbed-out bass. '3 Magic Words' picks up the pace with a soft acid line lashing about the arrangement with humid chords for company. 'Mister R' is a hip-hop swinger that oozes late-night cool and rounds out a sophisticated EP.

Review: Dutch label Brew returns with more moody techno that is both deep yet impactful. It's Robert Bergman at the helm and '3 AM' is his opening gambit. It has ghostly voices shimmering across the beats with a menacing low end, rugged bassline and scaring percussive sounds. '#5' is another fresh sound with great sound designs and alluring rhythms and last of all is 'Drum Trax' which is a third and final blend of nostalgic and futuristic house tropes for heady basements.

The opening track, 'Peyote Country Club' grabs attention immediately with its infectious rhythm, sharp percussion, and irresistible flow. Subtle house influences sneak in as the track progresses, with distant keys adding a sophisticated touch that leaves an impression on you.
'Every Pleasure, Every Sin' shifts gears, delivering a refreshing blend of ambient house that feels like a breezy summer afternoon. The track is pure elegance that harkens back to the vintage early 90s. The remix of the same track turns things on their head, adding a wicked bassline, playful breakbeat, and a more ominous vibe. The inclusion of an acid line gives it a nostalgic, classic feel, ensuring this version stands out with its playful edge.

Review: On The Button is a Leeds based record label and party that has a cultured following. Its first musical outing drew rightful praise and now comes a second, this time from Barcelona based Aniano. This one is not short on energy: opener 'No Me Dejo Enganar (feat Rub Db)' has a filthy bassline that will get lips curled in mock disgust. It's fat-assed tech with real swagger and 'Did You Want This' keeps the vibes flowing with more fresh sounds designs and characterful basslines. 'Spellbound Sage' is marked with intriguing sound designs and warped pads, digital melodies and wonky energy and 'Futuristic Residential Area' is a fine experimental closer that is dense and inventive.
