Review: Shall Not Fade has rightly become one of the most lauded labels in deep house over the last couple of years. It's perhaps fitting, then, that they've snapped up rising stars Anthony Fade. The sometime Lost Palms and House Crime duo hit the ground running with the rolling, horn-toting deep house warmth of "Champagne Paradise", which also makes use of some choice vocal samples from a Larry Levan produced boogie era classic. "Creepin" is an altogether jazzier deep house experience - think bustling drums and rich Rhodes riffs - while "Same Tune" sounds a little like Moodymann after a few extra-strong zoots. Fittingly, Detroit producer Andres contributes a tasty remix of the latter, upping the energy levels while adding some snaking synth lines and soulful samples of his own.

Review: Since making his debut in 2008, few producers have released quite as much high-quality dancefloor fare as Alan Fitzpatrick. Somewhat predictably, his latest EP - a label debut for Bristol-based imprint Shall Not Fade - is another must-check missive. He's scored something of a coup, too, by recruiting Chicago "ghetto-dance" legend DJ Deeon to add his evocative spoken word vocals to 'Shale That Thing', a deliciously spacey chunk of analogue house brilliance whose evocative chords and restless rhythm track will bring joy to many dancefloors this summer. Rising star DJOKO remixes, doffing a cap to the early 2000s work of UK tech-house stalwarts Swag on a deliciously swinging, loose-limbed rub. Fitzpatrick then delivers a bouncy, life-affirming chunk of disc0-house hedonism, 'Learning to Love', which is pure pleasure from start to finish.

Review: Aus alumni Rob Glassett brings his Fold feels to Shall Not Fade: four tracks of jazz-tinged classically trained house music that nods heavily towards the Chicago sound. "Alan Whickers" pumps with a big filtered sensation that doubles up into quite a punch on the second drop, "Knickerbocker Ave" is as tasty as it sounds with a light broken feel to the drums and delicate jazz piano loop while "Doin' Bits" is grounded in more of a NYC house feel with its insistent vocal sample rises and relentless groove. Need a little 23rd century soul? Look no further than Will & Ink's Frits Wentink remix. Vibes.

Review: Daniel Leseman and Hans Peeman a.k.a. Junktion are Four, and they have been serving up lovely house tunes together since 2015. Here they make their debut on Shall Not Fade with five more helpings of dance floor dynamite. 'Paradise' is a funky instrumental number with clattering drums and vamp chords bringing a jazz feel. 'Next Summer' then sinks into a much smoother groove that is deep and perfect for sunset sessions. There is prickly broken beat energy to 'Tough Love' and some brilliantly work keyboard magic on filter house cut 'Late Night Snack' before 'Drugged Out' is a wonky and off kilter disco tinged jam.

Review: The next release on Shall Not Fade comes from none other than deep house legend, Fred P. Also renowned for his musical offerings as Black Jazz Consortium, the New York-bred, Berlin-based producer is accredited with over 100 releases, all instantly recognisable given their warmth, depth and modesty. The new 'Out All Night' EP tops up the roster, and is replete with shaky synth tremblings, underwater movements, and broken clap-drum assortments.

Review: The high class Shall Not Fade welcomes equally sophisticated and accomplished deep house don Fred P for another of his superbly heady outings on lush purple vinyl. 'High Rise' finds Fry in fine form and layering up dynamic drums with majestic chords and swirling instrumentation that is grand in scale. 'Only Subs' has a little more thump to it with wispy vocals and chords swirling round over the hefty and hypnotic drums and 'Get It On' has a more slick feel with its warped leads and fragmented vocals. Last of all is a Rhythms In The Place beats edit of 'Only Subs' for more direct deployment.
