Outlaw (feat Dramacydal) (4:29)
Review: When he released third album "Me Against The World" in 1995, Tupac Shakur was arguably the biggest name in hip-hop. As we now know, it wouldn't last, with the LA rapper losing his life in a drive-by shooting 12 months later. As tragic as his demise was, his music still resonates and this album - here reissued to celebrate its 25th anniversary - is arguably the best of the lot. Produced by an all-star cast of beat-makers (Brian G, Easy Mo Bee, Tony Pizarro and Moe ZMD included), the set offered a glossy and polished take on the then dominant gangster rap style while including numerous nods to R&B, swing and G-funk. If you don't already own a copy, grab one of these pronto.

Review: Live My Life is a great compilation of songs by the late great rapper 2Pac. It's prime West Coast hip hop that first arrived back on CD in 2005 and now thanks to the Wax N' Stacks (Cult Legends) label gets pressed up to a limited 180 gram gold vinyl. It features some of his lesser-known gems and plenty of big-name peers from his 90s heyday such as his great pal Notorious BIG, Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg, Ed Bone, Mil & Young Sly and many more. It's a great reminder of one of hip hop's many great but sadly lost talents.

Review: 6LACK's third studio album, Since I Have A Lover, is another one that follows the form he has set over the previous two - namely it is a musical update on his life. It tells listeners where the rapper is mentally, emotionally, and spiritually with those that are the closest to him. This trilogy-completing album is another personal reflection that speaks of the growth of 6LACK since the last outing East Atlanta Love Letter. It's a big one, too, with 19 tracks across four sides of limited and gatefold translucent pink vinyl.

Review: Great hip-hop has often been defined by collaboration and Chemistry by 9th Wonder and Buckshot is a testament to that. The album, released on June 21, 2005 through Duck Down Music as a part of the label's "Triple Threat Campaign", showcases the seamless synergy between 9th Wonder's soulful production and Buckshot's sharp lyricism. Each track shows off their undeniable chemistry, with smooth beats and introspective rhymes that captivate from start to finish as muse on everything from introspective reflections to social commentary, all with precision and depth. With its cohesive sound and thoughtful lyricism, Chemistry is a must-listen for fans of both artists and the genre as a whole.

Review: As long as there is hip-hop, debate will rage as to which album by A Tribe Called Quest is their finest. Of course, they're all superb, but 1993's "Midnight Marauders" - their third full-length - may well be the best of all. That's a big call, but we'd ask any doubters to give it another listen. The New York crew is in particularly fine form on the mic throughout, while the backing tracks, which make great use of crunchy, head-nodding beats and hundreds of superb, hand-picked samples, are amongst the most intricately produced, groovy and deep ever committed to wax. It's one of those hip-hop sets that should be in the collection of any committed music head, and not just rap fans.

Review: There was a big fuss made when Aaliyah's music finally made it to streaming services late last year, which shows just how in demand it remains over a quarter of a century after it first hit record stores. Her self titled long player was an early and frankly just about unbeatable blueprint for r&b that has more than stood the test of time. With guests posts from Static From Playa and Timbaland she opened up on all manner of subjects from rejection to love, personal anxiety to better times. The slick production still sounds fresh, as does the timeless vocal work.

Review: Here's a chance to cop a pivotal piece of R&B history on vinyl. Aaliyah's second album was released in 1996, when she was just 17, and she was already one of the most commanding artists in modern R&B. Working closely with Missy Elliot and Timbaland on a number of the tracks, she made a significant step on from her debut with a revitalised and forward-leaning sound, and all while finishing drama school and preparing to star in Romeo Must Die. One In A Million is solid gold start to finish, and given how costly original pressings of it can be on the second hand market, this reissue is long overdue so grab it while you can.

Review: Composer Michael Abels and Oscarr winner Jordan Peele have hooked up plenty of times on the big screen before, and this is another hugely successful partnership. Us was released in March 2019 and is an original nightmare that is set in present-day Santa Cruz on the Northern California coast. Lupita Nyong'o and Black Panther's Winston Duke star and the score features many highlights such as a 30-person choir, ten of them kids, on 'Anthem', while plenty of Eastern European instruments, violins and percussion were also employed. 1995 hip-hop anthem 'I Got 5 On It' by Luniz is also included and never fails to stand out.

Review: Aesop Rock x Blockhead's Garbology album was a huge success and so it makes sense that the label now follows it up with a new issue of the instrumentals. It's a tidy package across four sides of coloured vinyl in a nice spot-varnished sleeve. Musically it is a brilliantly mixed bag that takes in myriad niche sounds and styles. The opener is a deep soul cut with pensive chords while 'Jazz Hands' (Instrumental) suspends you in swirling synths and spring-day optimism and 'Wolf Piss' (Instrumental) has heavier, darker beats and more menacing string sounds.

Review: Afrika Bambatta & Soulsonic Force's Planet Rock is a legendary album in its own right and now Tommy Boy reissues it in limited edition style. Afrika Bambaataa was a pioneering rap force before most people had even heard the word. Raised in the South Bronx, he became a pioneering DJ, rapper and songwriter who put on large block parties that rocked his local neighbourhood. It was alongside Soulsonic Force in 1982 on this record that he cemented his place in the history books as one of the most revered and innovative artists of his time. The album has been a go-to for generations of artists ever since and remains a long-time favourite amongst breakdancers for its body-popping electro beats.

Review: And Is Phi (Andrea Isabelle Phillips) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Norway and the Philippines now based in South East London. Double Pink is a debut album of great quality that draws on a wide sphere of influence, from Joni Mitchell's tender vocals to Frank Zappa's weirdness via 90s r&b and the jazz tinged beatmaking of Madlib's seminal album for Blue Note. it is both late night and languid but immediate and emotive, with a world of colour and texture that is all blurred, smoothed off, packed with emotion and smart riffs, melodies and hooks.

Review: The mighty Dez Andres has hooked up with Parisian digger Victor Kiswell for a sublime new double album on Spot Lite that finds a perfect sweet spot between both men's sound. It stems from a party that explores Arabic grooves from Northern Africa and the Middle East and pairs that with low slung deep house beats and hip-hop inspired joints. It's woozy and warm, packed with killer melodies and hooky riffs and is right up there with some of Dez's best work. Highlights include the likes of 'Grand Meze In Gemmayze' with its dusty beats and 'Bounce The Casbah' with Middle Eastern guitars that ring out with great soul.

His decades-spanning career includes work with MF DOOM, Brother Ali, Murs and more after he was raised in a military family with a deep love for records. Ant's eclectic influences shine in Collection of Sounds, a four-volume instrumental series that his instalment three here and has been carefully curated from his vast archive. Some compositions invite vocalists yet remain deeply personal and overall, rather than reinventing things, Ant reconfigures his past while staying true to his artistic roots.

Review: Legendary producer Ant, who you will most likely know for his work with Atmosphere, showcases his talent once more here with Collection of Sounds: Vol. 4. This release highlights his years of dedication to his craft and is a great mix of fresh ideas with his signature style. While previous volumes explored hip-hop, funk and reggae, Vol. 4 introduces rock-inspired elements such as wailing guitars, though it still maintains a firm foundation in hip-hop. Tracks like 'Hearing In Dark Colors' and 'Created With a Heavy Brush' display his mastery of diverse styles while 'Day After 2010' offers an unexpected vibe that helps confirm Ant's status in the scene.

Review: Detroit beatsmith Apollo Brown is in a class of his own and makes instrumentals like few others. This is his first new record in eight years and is another masterclass in sampling that has made him a favourite with fans, peers and critics alike. He often has a concept for his albums and for this one it is about peace and balance and as such it has something of a more organic feel that previous works. There is melancholia in the air on 'Clouds' and uncertainly but hope to 'Nervous Goodbyes' while 'Escapism' has an electronic synth sound that comes with a textbook drum break over the top.

Review: Freestyle Records reissues The Apples Kings a full decade and a half after its first release. This version has been fully remastered and re-cut for an even more dynamic sound to remind why the landmark album was so special. It was a first for the band who crafted it with specific collaborators in mind and worked with funk legend Fred Wesley and Israeli world music icon Shlomo Bar In fusing elements of The JB's funky foundations, soul, dub, and Middle Eastern influences, they cooked up a genre-defying mix filtered through The Apples' unique decks-horns-bass-drums lineup. These unmistakable, floor-shaking grooves are just as potent today as they were in 2010.

Review: "Danama" is a Bambara word meaning "trustworthy" that reflects the essence of Arat Kilo's fifth album, which was recorded in Spring 2024. The album embodies optimism, collective strength and cultural blending, while advocating confidence during these times which are so marred by wars, nationalism and environmental crises. Arat Kilo is France's leading Ethio-jazz ensemble and they take a fresh approach by experimenting with sound production by adding new instruments like synths, bass clarinet and Malian n'goni, alongside their signature grooves. These tunes are influenced by genres like Jersey club and 2-step and merge with Ethiopian jazz and global rhythms. Mamani Keita's poignant lyrics and social critique from Mike Ladd make this a resounding call for hope and unity.

Review: A lot can change in two years or so. Not least if 2021 saw you release one of the most celebrated records of the current decade, tackling the mental health crisis head on in the midst of a global pandemic. An album that despaired and threw its hands up, declaring that we, collectively, are not alright and something needs to change, all via staggeringly poetic prose, at times bordering on spoken word. Returning from that triumphant episode, Arlo Parks follows up with The Soft Machine, an LP that lands after most of the dust from that global emergency has settled, and she's relocated to sunny Los Angeles to live with partner and alternative rapper, Ashnikko. To say the result is something that sounds warmer, more appreciative of what you've got rather than focussed on what isn't would be an understatement, but the exquisite songwriting and willingness to speak honestly about major issues remains.

It's both cosmic yet organic, expansive yet intimate with tumbling beats that sound loose and live, sprinkles of starry melody and plenty of warm jungle humidity from the percussion. Guests such as LaNote, Lanoir, Raphael Neblai and Jewice add some vocal magic and this one is, then, sure to become a real cult classic in no time at all thanks to its unique mix of all those different worlds but also, quite simply, its damn nice vibes.

Review: American singer-songwriter and rapper Ashnikko dropped their much-anticipated debut album this August through Parlophone and Warner Records and has been teased with no fewer than fine well-received singles. It is a concept record based around "a commentary on environmental disaster and the rapid evolution of technology" which honestly seems not so much a concept as just a statement of our current reality. The artist displays plenty of rage both lyrically and in terms of delivery here, with industrial hip-hop and rap, nu-metal and trap all distilled into something confrontational yet triumphant.

Review: After receiving a Swedish GRAMMY nomination for her 2023 album Be Free and maintaining a busy tour schedule, trombonist, songwriter and producer Ebba decided to try and challenge jazz's rigid boundaries for her next project. The result is When You Know, a smoky, melancholic brew that swirls jazz, alternative r&b, indie, hip-hop and ambient sounds into something pleasingly fresh. Co-produced with Berlin-based producer Lucy Liebe, the album was recorded in a cabin outside her hometown during the harsh winter and reflects Ebba's direct, driven nature. It often moves into avant-garde territory but the vocal work on cuts like 'Did I Go?' mean it always makes and emotional impact, while lush beats on 'Open Your Eyes ' are perfect for summer and 'What I Want' is devastatingly intimate and honest.

Review: Village Live has just put out a compilation to make the label's fifth anniversary. Sadly, it was the last project co-founder Joey Deez worked on before he passed away. Now the label serves up an album dedicated to his memory from Aver, who created the first draft of it between finding out about Joey's passing and attending his funeral. It features collages of conversations the two had next to previously unreleased material he made during lockdown with Doron Segal. The result is an album of catharsis and musical therapy, that features both light and dark, hope and despair. The finished album features cuts by Jazz T, Evil Ed and Omas, as well as additional voice messages donated by Kuartz and Matt Smith.

Review: Australian rapper Iggy Azalea's third album The End of An Era came on her own label Bad Dreams Records and took inspiration from the end of her 20s. It is a musical time capsule of that decade and features some guest spots from the likes of Bia, Sophia Scott and Ellise, while production was taken care of by frequent collaborator J. White Did It amongst others. The beats throughout are highly addictive with plenty of them ready to make you get up and dance. There are plenty of crossovers between future house and bass music making it one of her most accomplished works to date.

Review: Pink Siifu and Ahwlee are the rap, neo-soul and r&b duo B. Cool-AID and this is their new album on Lex. Leather Blvd is a woozy and lo-fi late-night trip through a range of narcotic atmospheres. The raps range from slurred and drenched in reverb to more crisp and well-defined as tracks range from short and sweet to epic and sprawling. There is a real intimacy to this record as well as a borrowing from jazz as these tracks unfurl and slowly make their way into your affections. It is another great coming together of this contemporary pair.

Review: American rapper and record producer Baby Keem dropped his debut album The Melodic Blue over a year ago but only now is the vinyl landing. Back then it was a rather surprise release and it finds the enigmatic rapper expanding into a wide world of sound that builds on his love of trap and melody. There is plenty of intimate writing and lots of his trademark switching between singing and rapping with fun and propulsive moments next to more playful ad-libs and goofy beats. Kreem is Kendrick Lamar's cousin but has his own distinctive sound as this album proves.

Review: Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Bay Rose says she makes music for those that are "aimless and heartbroken". Her magnificently rich voice conveys the pain and lament everyone has felt at some point in their life of this new sophomore album Through & Through. There is an honesty to it that has defined all her work to date and a determination to really say something with her music. Unrestricted by genre though couched in hip hop and r&b, lead singles like 'Dance With Me' marry lo-fi beat work with her smoky, raw soul vocals to make for something truly impactful. There is no wonder this one has already had plenty of press praise on both sides of the Atlantic.

Review: Erykah Badu remains one of our favourite all-time artists and one of the greatest voices in neo-soul even though these days she never actually releases much music. Along the way from the 90s onwards though she dropped a superb run of albums including the still astonishing debut Baduism and New Amerykah series. This part, part one, subtitled Fourth World War, gets the reissue treatment courtesy of Motown and features plenty of Erykah's dark and trippy vocals, smoky soul sounds, candle-lit atmospheres and thought-provoking lyrics.

Review: California-born singer-songwriter BANKS, aka Jillian Rose Banks, creates moody, alternative pop with hints of contemporary r&b adding extra depths. After emerging in the early 2010s, she gained a cross-genre following with her downtempo, alt-r&b style and her debut album, Goddess, earned critical acclaim and gold certification with hits like 'Before I Ever Met You' and 'Warm Water.' BANKS followed three more albums and now drops her fifth which is another subversive blend of all sound that have gone before with an evolved attitude and still a great number of hooky groves.

Review: Beastie Boys Music is a new greatest hits compilation album that serves as a companion to 2020's Spike Jonze-directed Beastie Boys Story and 256-page photo book, Beastie Boys Book. The double vinyl affair takes in 20 classic tracks that span the iconic group's more than 30 year career, with the biggest of the big such as 'No Sleep', 'Sabotage' and 'Intergalactic' all making the cut. By now these are well worn classics, but their impact on rap cannot be overstated, and the tunes still get any party banging thanks to the immediacy of the beats and sharpness of the rhymes.

To catch them live is no doubt one of the most explosive musical experiences of the last 50 years. If you never have, fear not, because an album like this one takes you back in time to be there in the flesh, in this case at Club Citta in Kawasaki, Japan in September 1992. It was a performance broadcast live on radio and it comes now on nice heavyweight vinyl with plenty of lesser-known tunes in amongst some of the bigger moments. A real must for collectors and fans alike.

Review: 'Stand Together' by Beastie Boys is a signature high-energy track from their iconic album Check Your Head. It perfectly resents what the US disruptors were all about with its trademark fusion of hip-hop, punk and funk, explosive instrumentation and dynamic vocal delivery. It's also the name of this broadcast album which comes on yellow vinyl and is a recording of a live TV broadcast the group did back on September 19, 1992 from Kawasaki Citta Club in Kanagawa, Japan. Plenty of their jams of the time - 'Egg Man' and 'Shake Your Rump' being much loved fan favourites especially - feature here, capturing the band at a particularly fertile moment in their career.

Review: Root Down is an experimental album from 1994 when The Beastie Boys locked themselves in a rehearsal space and went to town on studio experimentation and live jamming. It came between "Paul's Boutique" and "Check Your Head" and resulted in two previously unreleased versions of the title track and snippets of music recorded while on tour in Europe. There is the typical Beastie Boys mix of floor rocking riffs but with funky new flows stitched in and thus charts the period in which the band went from their post punk guitar roots to a more new-groove driven sound.

As has been hotly discussed online, this album finds her embracing club music in no uncertain terms, with collaborators like Honey Dijon and Green Velvet lending their expert house touch to the fiercest force pop music has ever witnessed. The results are earth-shattering, as if we expected any less, and the due diligence on acknowledging the roots of house music culture is delivered with sincerity and authority. Make no mistake people, this is the real deal.

Review: Blk Odyssy's third studio album 1-800 Fantasy, as any artist long player really should, marks a sonic shift. It takes him away from his dark r&b and G-funk blend to a brighter, more upbeat alternative sound. This concept album tells the coming-of-age story of a teenage boy in the 90s exploring love and lust. The 13 tracks include singles like 'Want You,' 'XXX' (feat. Wiz Khalifa), 'Stank Rose' (feat. Joey Bada$$) and 'Changes' along with the new track 'Phase.' With this album, Blk Odyssy embraces a new era in his career, blending fresh storytelling with innovative production. It proves again he is a boundary-pushing artist.

Review: In 1993, Bangin' On Wax marked a pivotal moment in West Coast gangsta rap by managing to unite members of LA's infamous rival gangs-the Crips from Compton, Watts and Long Beach, and the Bloods from Inglewood and Los Angeles. The project aimed to channel gang tensions into music rather than violence with auditions selecting the best MCs for the album. Proceeds supported local schools and parks for children and now, 30 years later, this historic release returns for Black Friday as a double vinyl set featuring tracks previously exclusive to CD, all pressed on red and blue vinyl. A superb work in more ways than one.

Review: Kurtis Walker, known as Kurtis Blow, made history as the first rapper signed to a major US record label, Mercury, in 1979. His debut single, the fun and festive 'Christmas Rappin',' sold nearly half a million copies. It was followed by 'The Breaks,' the first rap single to go Gold with over a million copies sold. His self-titled debut album in 1980 led to international performances in Europe and Japan and helped to spread hip-hop globally. Kurtis Blow's prolific career includes fifteen albums and hits like 'America,' 'If I Ruled The World' (famously later sampled by The Fugees and Nas), and collaborations with The Fat Boys, Run D.M.C., Sheila E., and Kool & The Gang. This double vinyl collection rightly celebrates his influential legacy.

Review: Legendary LA rapper Blu's Good To Be Home was his first-ever double album when it originally dropped back in 2014. A decade on the record, which features a host of West Coast hip-hop luminaries (such as The Roots, Alchemist, Lupe Fiasco, B.o.B., Madlib, Aloe Blacc, ) remains an unapologetic celebration of LA and its musical culture. "This is my most defining record ever," said Blu at the time and it truly is a record packed with all killer and no filler. This version on Nature Sounds comes across glorious double gatefold vinyl.

Dean Blunt is nothing short of an enigma. Whether you're reading one of his interviews of few words, listening to the records that seem to both celebrate the avant-garde and obsess over it, or watching him descend into strange, otherworldly cacophonies on stage, usually shrouded in smoke, he's never really been an easy guy to pin down. And that's exactly what he's always been going for.

It's something of a surprise, then, to learn that Black Metal 2, the long-awaited, seven years in the making sequel to his critically acclaimed Black Metal, is actually pretty straight forward. In a Dean Blunt kind of way. Opening on the compressed strings and near-spoken word of 'Vigil', the record takes us into the deep dark depths of strange, hook-fuelled guitar poetry, and we never want to find our way back.

This time it is Bo'vel's Changes album that gets served up on wax having teased the act by including them on a compilation Just A Touch late last year. Their soul sound is distantly UK-centric but with influxes from dub, funk and more. That is well showcased here across ten tracks that were famously made in the mid-90s in Manchester without a big budget or big press campaign but became cult classics all the same.

He has a love of the great Joao Gilberto and armed with that and a worm out MPC he set to work, laying down tropical beats and sunny melodies. The result became an instant classic and spawned a number of tunes that went on to pick up more than a million streams. It's a record that excites the imagination as well as warming the soul and this version comes with superb original artwork designed by illustrator David Burnett on a lovely splatter-coloured vinyl inspired by its own cover.

Review: In the early 1990s as gangsta rap rose in popularity, KRS-One remained committed to socially conscious lyrics and the culminated in the hard-hitting 1992 album Sex and Violence. This fifth and final studio release from Boogie Down Productions, produced by KRS-One, Pal Joey, Kenny Parker, D-Square, and Prince Paul, delves into the darker aspects of American urban life. While singles like the intense 'Duck Down' and funky 'We In There' garnered attention, tracks such as 'Drug Dealer,' 'Ruff Ruff,' 'Questions and Answers,' and 'How Not To Get Jerked' stand out. Featuring an intro skit about a DJ's vinyl panic, this reissue by Get On Down and Sony Music's CERTIFIED brings the album back to vinyl, with a great splatter-coloured pressing.

Review: Buckwild and Tuff Kong Records come together for the first time on this album which is both metaphorical and literal music to the ears of hip -op fans. Buckwild is something of a legendary producer who has, per the title, gone digging deep in the vaults of this vital label remixed all manner of material from the likes of Conway, Mayhem Lauren, AG, Big Twins, Guilty Simpson, Starvin B and LORD JAH-MONTE OGBON. The record also includes a new and unreleased song from Boldy James and Soll Badd and it all comes on limited edition, hand numbered vinyl.

Review: Steel City electro-funk wizard BusCrates shows that not only American counterparts like Dam Funk can lay down seductive funk smoochers with his second full-length album, Control Center. Soraya Watti is on hand to provide smooth and soulful tones on 'On My Way', the only track with a voice, and its beautifully downbeat gem that harks back to classic Erykah Badu tunes from days gone by. Elsewhere there are whimsical synth laced daydreams like 'Four Track Mind' and sax-led slow motion funk wigglers like 'Prisms'. It's a gorgeous album for both background play and up front listens.

Review: Following mesmerising Marseilles mutations from the likes of Syqulone, Kabylie Minogue and Lisa More, Cain ? Muchi return to Gros:Oeuvre with their remarkable debut album. A heady tagine of grime, beats, techno, global bass and contemporary electronica with a title that either refers to famed Moroccan popstar or, far more likely, relates to meaning as 'universe', Dounia is a beguiling clash of western electronics and eastern bars, lyrics, and vocal harmonies. Fractured and macabre throughout from the distorted hardcore bass highs of 'J'wadi' to disarming vocal cries of 'Majdouba' this post grime, pre apocalypse opus is a trip from edge to edge.

Review: Jamaica-born, NY-based US rapper Canibus came up on the underground freestyle and battle scene and so plenty of the skills he had that stood him out then defied this new long player. It's dark and hard-hitting in terms of both the moody late-night production but also the rhymes. He delivers them with a real snarl as he takes aim at everything from street life to social and racial issues. Guests like Kali Ranks x Self Low, K-Solo & Born Sun & Ophrap Science & Mali 'The Great' all add further character.

Review: Carmike's sole album is a gritty masterpiece of "slithering nightmare raps" that was originally recorded amidst carjackings and robberies and very ably and aptly captures the raw chaos of its 1994 cassette release. Now officially reissued for the first time on LP, this cult classic is dark, haunting and unapologetically authentic as it embodies the turbulence of its time. Delivering a visceral listening experience that resonates decades later, this gem is the latest of a multi-LP series exploring Memphis's influential hip-hop history These distinctive and often brutal tracks helped reshape rap music and have to be heard by anyone who considers themselves in the know.

Review: Almost a decade has passed since long-serving Italian band Casino Royale released their last full-length excursion, making this surprise return to action a more than welcome development. Apparently inspired by "bewilderment and the search for a direction to follow as individuals as a community", it combines some of the band's previous musical themes - dusty trip-hop, string-drenched downtempo grooves, nods to fuzzy alternative rock and murky pop - with flashes of dubstep, Morricone-style orchestrated pieces, spoken word (in their native Italian, of course) and bubbly electronica. It's hard to pigeonhole but undeniably atmospheric and entertaining, while the packaging (which includes a luminous cover and a nice insert) is equally as impressive.

Review: Chase Atlantic's fourth album offers a more mature sound than previous LPs while exploring themes of loneliness, depression and fear. The title reflects the paradox of being in an ideal place yet feeling miserable and the music showcases the band's evolution into a fusion of pop, rock and r&b in their signature genre-defying style. The lead single quickly gained popularity by amassing millions of streams and views and follow-up 'Doubt It' continues the trend with addictive melodies and fresh sounds. Although Chase Atlantic pushes boundaries here, their original fans will still remain happy with the signature energy of this album.

Review: This soundtrack was originally released in 2006 and is a great reflection of the Disney Channel movie's rich and candied musical journey. Featuring songs that blend pop, r&b and dance beats, the album showcases the talents of the Cheetah Girls themselves aka Adrienne Bailon, Sabrina Bryan and Kiely Williams as they take on new challenges in Barcelona. Highlights include the upbeat 'Strut' the empowering 'Cheetah-licious Christmas' and the catchy 'The Party's Just Begun'" The soundtrack perfectly mirrors the film's themes of friendship, self-expression and following dreams as well as being full of infectious tunes.
