Doepfer A-151 Sequential Switch v2 Module (silver)
Cat: 577792 Rel: 06 Jun 19

Quad sequential switch module - 4HP
Notes: Module A-151 (Quad Sequential Switch) is like an electronic four-position rotary switch.
It includes trigger and reset inputs, four in / outputs, and a common out / input. Each time a pulse is received at the trigger input socket, the common out / input is connected to the next in / output. After the fourth in / output, the next trigger makes it step back to the first again, and so on. A positive pulse at the reset input switches the out / input immediately back to the first in / output.
Voltages in the range -12V...+12V at the O/I resp. I/O sockets can be processed by the module (not only control voltages but also gate, trigger or clock signals provided that they are in the -12V...+12V range).
By means of a toggle switch the number of steps can be limited to 2, 3 or 4.
Four LEDs indicate the active in / output (ie. the on that is connected to the out / input at any particular time).

For more detailed information please look at the English user's manual: A151_man.pdf.

Similar modules:
A-150-1 Dual Voltage Controlled Switch
A-150-8 Octal Manual/Voltage Controlled Programmable Switches
A-152 Voltage Addressed Track&Hold / Switch (Multiplexer) / Digital Outputs

Technical notes:
To protect the electronic switches in case of an unsuitable patch (e.g. connection of two outputs) a 1k protection resistor is inserted into the O/I line. If control voltages used for VCOs are switched this may cause a small voltage drop and lead to undesired audible detuning. For this application we recommend to insert a CV buffer between A-151 and the VCO(s), e.g. the modules A-180-3, A-180-4 or the Precision Adder A-185-2. Integrating the buffer into the module A-151 is not possible because this would ruin the bidirectionality of the switches.
For modules manufactured before spring 2005 the voltage range at the in/outputs was limited to -8V...+8V. From spring 2005 the revised version of the module was available. With an additional switch the number of steps can be set to 2, 3 or 4 (thanks to Peter Grenader for this idea). Moreover the revised module allows to process voltages in the full A-100 voltage range (i.e. -12V...+12V). The limitation to -8V...+8V is no longer valid. The A-100 DIY page describes how to install this additional switch for the old version of A-151.

Width: 4 HP / 20.0 mm
Depth: 35 mm (measured from the rear side of the front panel)

Intellijel Shifty Voice Allocator/Note Hocketing/Analogue Shift Register Module
Intellijel Shifty Voice Allocator/Note Hocketing/Analogue Shift Register Module (sample & hold/sequencer/shift register synth module)
Cat: 643384 Rel: 27 Mar 17

Voice allocator, note hocketing & analog shift register module - 6HP
Notes: The Shifty is essentially a combination of four sample and hold stages, a sequential gate and sequencer controller. This collection of functions allows for some specific and useful utility application.

One of the primary uses for Shifty is to take a monophonic sequence source and route each new note of the sequence to up to four different synthesizer voices in a specific pattern. In this way you can create pseudo polyphonic sequences since each voice can be triggered to play and sustain while the next voice int the sequence gets triggered. Another term for this is hocketing.

The other main application of the Shifty is to function as an Analog Shift Register. In this mode each new gate input received causes the current set of pitches to be shifted to new output locations as a new one is added and the oldest one is replaced. This can be an interesting way to create chords that are up to four stacked notes when used with a pitch sequence source that has a harmonious series of notes (e.g. a pentatonic scale works really well). Even just using two of the outputs will yield very interesting melodic interplay and is an excellent way to make a simple sequence much more complex and interesting.

In a more basic way the Shifty could be used as a simple Sample/Track and Hold module or as a sequential gate.

Joranalogue Step 8 Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register Module
Joranalogue Step 8 Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register Module (sample & hold/sequencer/switch synth module)
Cat: 846726 Rel: 08 Dec 22

Sequential Tracking/Sampling Register.
Notes: Clever sequential signal processing from Joranalogue, capable of a range of functions including toggling signal muter/attenuator, clock divider, rotating shift register or programmable voltage bank.

Supplier's Notes:
Sequencers, sequential switches, counters, analogue shift registers... Modular synthesisers provide a wealth of creative sequential functions for controlling and processing signals. Choosing which of these to include in a system can be a bewildering task.

Except when you don't have to choose. Step 8 represents a new type of modular building block: a sequential tracking/sampling register, which can be configured to provide any of these functions, and many more.

At its heart lies an analogue 1-to-8 signal switch feeding an octet of high-stability track/sample-and-hold stages. Each of these has its own analogue output with an attenuation slider, in addition to a gate output. LEDs visualise the status of each stage in real time. The switch can be controlled sequentially using the built-in 8-step counter, or addressed directly by an analogue control voltage (CV).

Numerous advanced circuit techniques are used to avoid the issues that often plague analogue switching and memory modules. The result: totally transparent signal paths with low noise, distortion and voltage 'droop', yet high bandwidth and precision.

Add to this the ability to 'mute' the inactive stages, pause the counter, reset it, change its direction or even shift the stages on each step, and the possibilities quickly become near-endless. A scanning output takes things even further, particularly making sequencer or addressed voltage source use easy and intuitive.

For those who are feeling adventurous, there are always more applications to try: configurable voltage mapper, hocketing controller, clock divider, graphic waveshaper, multi-output analogue downsampler... Discover a new world of sequential synthesis with Step 8.

AJH Synth MiniMod Gain Switch Multi Module (black)
Cat: 637039 Rel: 22 Mar 17

Dedicated switch module for Minimod, VCF/VCA gain jumper settings, plus 6-way multiple - dark edition
Notes: AJH Synth have had quite a few customers asking if we can make the gain jumpers on the MiniMod VCF and VCA modules accessible from the front panel, so this 2HP module aims to address this.

The Gain Switch Multi has two switches which connect to the gain jumpers on the VCA and VCF. Switch "up" is the same as having the gain jumper in place, switch "down" is the same as removing the jumper, and gives higher gain.

Using these switches gives a similar effect to the old "headphone out to external input" trick on the original Model D but with a much wider overdrive range, particularly from the VCA.

As an added bonus, AJH Synth have also included a six way passive multi.

Doepfer A-150-8 Octal VC Switch Manually/Voltage Controlled Switch Module
Cat: 671556 Rel: 29 Nov 17

Manually or voltage controlled switch module - 12HP
Notes: Module A-150-8 contains eight manually/voltage controlled switches. Each of the eight switches has a manual control button (Man.), a control voltage input (CV), a common Out / Input (O/I), and two In / Outputs (I/O1, I/O2). The switches are bi-directional, i.e. they can work in both directions, so can connect one input to either of two outputs, or either of two inputs to one output. Two LEDs show which in / output is active (i.e. which is connected to the common out / input). In addition, the LEDs are used for the programming of the module:

For each unit the operating mode can be selected: Toggle or Level controlled. In Toggle mode the rising edge of the CV input or operating the manual control button changes the state of the switch. In Level mode the switch state is defined by the voltage applied to the CV input (low voltage = I/O1, high voltage = I/O2) or by the state of the manual control button (not pressed = I/O1, pressed = I/O2). The modes are programmed very easily: Operating the Toggle/Level button of the program section displays the current state of each switch with the LEDs: left LED on = Toggle mode, right LED on = Level mode. Operating the manual control button of the switch in question changes the toggle/level mode while the Toggle/Level button of the program section is operated. During the programming patched CV signals may have to be removed as the CV signals would interfere with the manual operating buttons during the programming process.

In addition, it's possible to define master/slave groups. In such a group the upper unit (= master) controls also the state of the following switches provided that they are defined as slaves. Master/slave programming is also very simple: Operating the Master/Slave button of the program section displays the current state of each switch with the LEDs: left LED on = Master, right LED on = Slave.

When all 8 units are defined as master all switches are independent from each other. If for example the sequence is MSSSMSMS the control unit of the first switch also controls the switches 2, 3 and 4. The control unit of switch 5 also controls the switch 6, and the control unit of switch 7 also controls the switch 8. The current states of the slave switches are overwritten by the state of the master switch.

Technical note: To protect the electronic switches in case of an unsuitable patch (e.g. connection of two outputs) a 1k protection resistor is inserted into the O/I line of each switch. If control voltages used for VCOs are switched this may cause a small voltage drop and lead to undesired audible detuning. For this application we recommend to insert a CV buffer between A-150-8 and the VCO(s), e.g. the Buffered Multiple A-180-3 or the Precision Adder A-185-2. Integrating the buffers into the module A-150-8 was not possible because this would ruin the bidirectionality of the switches.

Doepfer A-152 Voltaged Addressed Track & Hold/Switch Module
Doepfer A-152 Voltaged Addressed Track & Hold/Switch Module (switch/clock modulator/logic/sample & hold synth module)
Cat: 745781 Rel: 09 Sep 19

Complex switch/multiplexer unit - 16HP
Notes: Module A152 is a very useful switching and T&H module. It combines a voltage addressed 1-to-8 multiplexer and 8 fold T&H that can be used as kind of an analogue shift register too. The active in/output is displayed by a LED. The digital output of the currently addressed step outputs "high". The remaining digital outputs are low.

Instead of voltage control even clock/reset controlled addressing of the active step is possible. The rising edge of each clock signal causes an advance to the next state. The rising edge of the reset signal resets to step 1.

The sum of the voltages coming from the manual Address control and the CV input define the currently addressed step of the 3 sub-devices. If the module is controlled by clock and reset the control voltage has to remain unchanged as the CV control has priority over the clock/reset control (e.g. simply turn the CV control fully counter-clockwise and do not touch the Address control knob).

Sub-device #1 is the bidirectional 8-fold multiplexer (kind of an electronical 8-fold rotary switch). Bidirectional means that it works into both directions like a mechanical rotary switch: the common socket may work as an output that is connected to one of the 8 inputs that are e.g. connected to modulation or audio sources. But the common socket may even function as input. In this case the signal applied to the common socket is output to the currently addressed single socket. The voltage range of the in/outputs to be switched is the full A-100 voltage range -12V....+12V. All A-100 signals can be switched without any restrictions.

Sub-device #2 is the addressed 8-fold T&H. The signal at the common T&H input is connected to the addressed T&H output. As soon as a new output is addressed the last voltage is stored at the output (Track&Hold function). The T&H section of the A-152 allows the emulation of the "toggling T&H" function of the Buchla module 266 "Source of Uncertainty". Only the first two T&H outputs of the A-152 are required for this application. This unit can be used also as kind of an analogue (shift) register. The difference to a "real" analogue shift register is that the sampled output voltages are not shifted to the next output but remain allocated to the same output. But in some cases (e.g. controlling the pitch of 3 VCOs by 3 output voltages of the A-152) the result is the same.

Sub-device #3 is the digital output section. The digital output of the currently addressed turns to "high". All other digital outputs are low. The digital outputs can be used to trigger e.g. envelope generators or to control the reset input in the clocked mode to reduce the number of addressed stages.

Xaoc Devices Poczdam 1989 Leibniz Device Komutator Module
Cat: 894984 Rel: 14 Oct 22

Poczdam is a binary data routing solution for the Xaoc Leibniz Subsystem.
Notes: Part of Xaoc's Leibniz subsystem, which processes signals and voltages by manipulating binary 8-bit numbers, the Poczdam allows switching between two data sources.

Supplier's Notes:
Poczdam is a binary data routing solution for the Xaoc Leibniz Subsystem. It facilitates manual and remote switching between two Leibniz data sources, modifying individual bits of the data stream, and re-clocking the data with its onboard voltage-controlled wideband oscillator or any external clock signal. Poczdam is particularly useful within complex Leibniz setups where the user needs to reconfigure the data flow between multiple modules. However, it can also be employed in small creative patches, e.g., for waveform splicing, disrupting rhythmic loops, or generating digital chaos.
To better understand the device and avoid common pitfalls, it is strongly advised to read through the entire user manual before use.

Drezno is the input/output front-end of the system, consisting of an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and a digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), that alone can be used for manipulating analogue signals and voltages based on their binary representation.

Lipsk is a binary logic processing expander module that can flip (invert) individual bits of the digital signal representation. There are more Leibniz Binary Subsystem elements coming, with specialized and advanced sets of features.

Jena is a digital module that may be used as a flexible waveshaper for CV and audio signals, a wavetable oscillator, a Walsh function generator, or a rhythm generator.

Erfurt is a bi-directional digital counter, frequency divider. It has multiple applications: the output of the counter may be used as a phase source driving a digital wavetable, connected to other Leibniz modules it may scan waveshapes in Jena, produce stepped voltages useful for making interesting glissandi with Drezno and any VCO, generate gate patterns animating the spectrum of Odessa harmonic banks, spawn pseudo-chaotic sequences when fed back to Lipsk, etc.

Joranalogue Switch 4 Performance Switcher & Router Module
Cat: 757107 Rel: 07 Jan 20

Hands-on signal switching and routing solution - 8HP
Notes: Designed with and for performing artists, Switch 4 delivers a hands-on signal switching and routing solution for your Eurorack modular synthesiser.

Quickly mute audio signals, trigger envelopes live, select modulation sources on the fly... With custom dual-action toggle switches, an intuitive interface and sturdy construction, Switch 4 will prove just as useful on stage as in the studio.

The bottom switching section includes four lever-actuated toggle switches, to make or break the signal path between the inputs and outputs. These switches feature a dual action: latched upwards, momentary downwards.

The four input signals are also sent to the top routing section, where two rotary switches allow you to select the signals to be sent to the matching outputs. Here you'll also find dual-action toggle switches, for added versatility.

Finally, all signal paths are buffered, avoiding signal cuts when shorting a jack during patching or severe loading effects when driving many inputs. The high-end components provide exceptionally low noise and distortion, so Switch 4 can reliably process audio, control voltages and gates/triggers.

Joranalogue Select 2 Dual Gated Precision Control Voltage Processor Module
Cat: 757110 Rel: 07 Jan 20

Two precision analogue CV processors with input selection, voltage hold and gated polariser functionalities
Notes: A 'Swiss Army knife' for your modular system, Select 2 provides two highly accurate gate-controlled voltage processors in 6 HP. These allow you to create, switch, mute, hold, invert, attenuate, offset, add/mix and subtract voltages, from slow control voltages (CV) up to audio frequencies.

Each processor features two signal inputs, with the left input used by default. A gate on the 'select' input switches to the right signal input instead. The signal inputs are normalised to the precision +5 V reference (left) and 0 V (right).

Following the input section is a hold circuit. A rising edge on the 'hold' input freezes the input voltage at that moment, until the gate input goes low again. While most sample/track-and-hold modules only manage a few seconds, Select 2’s 'low droop' design enables it to store a held voltage accurately for several minutes.

The end of the signal path consists of a gated polariser/attenuverter. Using the knob, the voltage at the output can attenuated and/or inverted: the gain is -1 (inverted) at the minimum setting, 0 at the centre and +1 (unity gain) at the maximum. The polariser can be disabled using the 'unity' gate input. This unique ability enables a variety of interesting gate-controlled signal modulations. Dual-colour LEDs show the output voltage of each processor.

Finally, if the A output socket is left unused, the signal is mixed together with the B output. This enables signal offsetting, CV mixing, pitch transposing etc.

Tesseract Modular Selecta 8-Channel OR Combiner & A/B Switch Module
Cat: 797261 Rel: 08 Dec 20

Synth module
Notes: This module has 4 channels of OR Combiner and 4 channels of A/B Switch.

This new version has a reversible panel, so the switches can be placed on the left or the right side.

The OR Combiner is conceived to select or sum trigger and/or gate signals, each channel has 2 inputs (A & B) and one output. A switch select which signal would be present at output, being the middle position of the switch the sum of both. It could be used with other type of signals but only the positive part of these would be present at the output stage (with a small lack of voltage because of the diodes and the pulldown resistor), so it could work with envelopes for example. With bipolar voltages the OR COMBINER channels will work as a Half-wave rectified output (the negative half of the signal is clipped to 0V) This can add many harmonics to audio signals, the combination of 2 oscillators will give as result a sort of 'ring modulator' sound.

The A/B Switch selects between A and B and the middle position of the switch is a "mute", works with any kind of signal (cv or audio) and is bidirectional. Can be used with 2 input signals and 1 output or 1 input signal and 2 outputs.

The circuit of the first version has been re-designed to avoid the bleeding among other issues.

This module does not draw any power.

Klavis Mixwitch Mixer & CV/Clock-Controlled Switcher Module (silver)
Klavis Mixwitch Mixer & CV/Clock-Controlled Switcher Module (silver) (attenuator/mixer/polarizer/switch synth module)
Cat: 767375 Rel: 16 Apr 20

A mixer & CV or clock-controlled switcher module in 8HP.
Notes: Focused versatility seems an oxymoron when describing the features that led us to design the Mixwitch.

With only a pinch of mixing, inverting and controlled switching, we brew up a plethora of combinations and uses.

This is voltage processing magic!
The Mixwitch design comes from a frustration with attenuvertors (bipolar attenuators-inverters) whose off (neutral) position is difficult to retrieve, especially in live situations.

We went for a digitally-controlled analog path where polarity inversion would be at the touch of a button. So, the usefulness of attenuating/inverting can be realized by turning the pot down, swiftly pressing the inversion button and reopening the level. The zero level is where you expect it, with the pot full down.

Once we had a clean polarity control, we easily added a mute function offering the benefit of pre- adjusted pot settings ready to be activated at will.

The next step was to bring something extra, useful and creative. There are plenty of analog switches controlled by a clock; but arbitrarily selecting an input with a voltage is less known. Having both control capabilities combined with our specific mixer features creates a unique fusion: welcome to the Mixwitch !

ALM Boss Bow Two Multimode Switch Module
Cat: 812649 Rel: 05 Feb 21

8-way bidirectional voltage controlled switch module - 8HP
Notes: Boss Bow Two is an 8 way bidirectional voltage controlled switch with 3 different control modes: address, strobe, and step. Each control mode uniquely routes signals from an input 'I/O' to an output 'I/O'. Address mode allows for instant routing manually via the offset or external control voltage, step mode sequentially advances I/O following signal at the clock input and the strobe mode combines the two, holding the addressed position until the next clock pulse.

The reset input allows for master on off switching in address and strobe modes and traditional sequencer style 'reset' in step mode. The control input features both an attenuverter and offset to precisely select which of the 8 I/O's are available to be 'switched' in address and strobe modes and sets the direction of travel in step mode.

As it is bidirectional, audio or CV can be routed from 1 of up to 8 inputs to a single output or a single input to 1 of up to 8 outputs. The unique features and flexibility of the 'BB2' allow for a wide range of potential patches to be created.

5 x 5 active patchbay/matrix mixer/switcher with normal and inverted outputs and attenuators
Notes: Looking Glass is an 5 x 5 active patchbay/matrix mixer/switcher for both audio and control voltages. It features:

5 inputs (1 through to 5), each with attenuators
5 inverted outputs (A through to E) which are 180o out of phase with the inputs
5 normal outputs (A through to E) which are in phase with the inputs
A switch matrix of 25 push on/push off switches and LED status indicators

Doepfer A-182-4 Dual Rotary Switches Slim Line Series Module
Cat: 847091 Rel: 17 Nov 21

Dual rotary switches module - 4HP
Notes: Module A-182-4 is a simple passive module that contains two mechanical rotary switches with 4 positions each. According to the position of the control knob socket 1, 2, 3 or 4 is connected to the common socket C.
As the module is fully passive it works bidirectional, i.e. the sockets 1...4 can be inputs and then C is the output. The other way round C can be the input and the sockets 1...4 are the outputs.
By means of an internal jumper the terminals C of both switches can be connected. That way the module can be used as kind of a miniature 4x4 matrix. Rotary switch A is e.g. used to select one of the four sockets 1...4 as input and this signal is sent to one of the four sockets 1...4 of switch B.

Applications:

switching of audio or control signals in the modular system without the need to unplug and plug patch cables (i.e. no signal interruptions)
building a small 4x4 miniature switch matrix

Joranalogue Route 4 Latching Signal Router Module
Cat: 945834 Rel: 13 Sep 23

A latching signal router module in 8HP.
Notes: Flexible Eurorack signal paths under gate or trigger control: that is the basic principle behind Route 4. Consisting of a pair of complementary routing sections, it grants access to a new level of signal routing options.

The module's top section is a 4-to-1 router. Any of the four signal inputs may be selected to be mixed into the section's output, as determined by the control inputs.

Control can either be gate or latch driveniin the latter case, the signal inputs are toggled on and off by received trigger pulses. Meanwhile, the solo/multi switch determines whether the inputs are exclusive, or if multiple may be active at the same time.

With each input socket biased by a +1 V precision voltage source when left unused, gate or trigger controlled transposition of pitch sequences becomes a breeze.

On the bottom, the 1-to-4 router provides the same feature set, with a single input being routed to up to four outputs and normalisation between the sections adding some patching convenience.

All signal paths are designed for use with any Eurorack signals, whether they be control voltages, audio or gate streams. Visual feedback is provided by 10 responsive LEDs, continually displaying the status of the routers.

With Route 4, an 8 HP super-flexible analogue mixing and routing powerhouse has arrived to fuel your patching imagination. The ability to redirect signals within a modular system on the fly, with an unparalleled level of control, is sure to excite even the most seasoned patcher.

ADDAC System ADDAC311 Ultra Floor Control Module & Footswitch
Cat: 876332 Rel: 10 Aug 22

8HP module/external floor pedal
Notes: Most musicians use their feet as an extension of their playing, either pushing piano pedals, sustain pedals, guitar pedals.

However, feet have been underrated while using modulars. In the past ADDAC released a series of modules using sustain and expression pedals for triggering or controlling signals to help breaking the ice. While these are small and still useful for simple uses, ADDAC wanted to create something more specific this time.

This new solution features 5 footswitches and 5 inputs for external expression pedals with independent controls for each.

The aim was to save HP rack space and so created an external floor pedal with all the footswitches and controls, keeping the module HP to the minimum possible featuring only the 10 outputs and the connector to the external floor pedal.

There are many expression pedals in the market and although the most common one is the TRS pedal there are 2 other standards: RTS and TS.

All five ADDAC311 inputs expect TRS pedals, if you're looking into buying one choose a TRS pedal.

If you already have other pedals channel 4 features jumpers that can be switched in order to be used with a RTS pedal.

Channel 5 features a jumper that can be switched in order to be used with a TS pedal.

External expression pedals are required for their outputs to work.

External expression pedals are not included

Qu-Bit Synapse Crossfading Switch Module (black faceplate)
Qu-Bit Synapse Crossfading Switch Module (black faceplate) (mixer/quad/switch/utility/VCA/attenuator/CV modulation/LFO synth module)
Cat: 677586 Rel: 30 Aug 18

Voltage controlled, cross fading switch - 20HP
Notes: Synapse is a crossfading switch with a signal path that can be rearranged on the fly. Its dynamic routing and mixing functionality make it capable of turning static waveforms into evolving soundscapes.

The core of Synapse is comprised of four crossfade circuits chained to a sequential switch, all under digital control. This enables many intelligent behaviours that aren't possible in the analogue domain. Crossfade positions can be saved in up to eight memory locations for easy recall. These let you create sections within your patch, and travel through them with a single knob - all without repatching. In addition, the switch outputs can be rotated left, right, or randomized, enabling unique spatialization of sounds through effect chains, filters, or other mixers.

Synapse can process CV signals just as well as audio and even generate its own adjustable DC voltage for modulation. A configurable +5V DC offset is normalled to each B input, allowing it to function as a four step sequencer or eight stage stored voltage source without needing any additional modules.

ADDAC System ADDAC809 Chain Router Module (black)
Cat: 883866 Rel: 13 Oct 22

ADDAC809 is a dynamic CV operated I/O router that allows one source (Audio or CV) to be routed through 2 different chains (of one or more modules) before being sent to an output.
Notes: ADDAC809 is a dynamic CV operated I/O router that allows one source (Audio or CV) to be routed through 2 different chains (of one or more modules) before being sent to an output.
Six routing patterns are allowed:

1. IN > OUT
2. IN > CHAIN A > OUT
3. IN > CHAIN B > OUT
4. IN > CHAIN A > CHAIN B > OUT
5. IN > CHAIN B > CHAIN A > OUT
6. IN > > OUT
A practical example is to have an audio source, a delay and a looper.
And the question: should the delay be placed before or after the looper? Sometimes you may need the delay to be before the looper as you may want to sample the audio with the delay or sample the pure audio source and apply the delay afterwards.
This small utility module solves this issue on the fly without having to repatch anything.

INPUTS & OUTPUTS

TO CHAIN B: Connect to your Chain B input
FROM CHAIN B: Connect to your Chain B output
TO CHAIN A: Connect to your Chain A input
FROM CHAIN A: Connect to your Chain A output
INPUT: Connect to your Input Source
OUTPUT: Connect to your Output Source

ROUTING PATTERNS

There are 2 ways to address the six routing patterns:

Buttons: using the frontpanel push buttons and/or dedicated trigger inputs to latch between 2 states.
BYPASS: Chooses between Pattern 1 and any other pattern
PARALLEL: Chooses between Pattern 6 and any other pattern
ORDER: Chooses the order A before B or B before A
DUAL/SINGLE: Chooses to use a Dual (A>B or B>A) or Single chain (A or B)
CV: The dedicated CV input expects a 0 to +5v input and allows to jump to the precise routing pattern using a specific voltage interval in increments of approx. 0.83V:

Pattern 1: 0v to 0.83v
Pattern 2: 0.83v to 1.66v
Pattern 3: 1.66v to 2.5v

Bidirectional switch & footswitch adapter module - 10HP
Notes: Pointeuse is a CV controlled bidirectional analogue switch that can be used as a momentary footswitch adapter for Eurorack in 1U format.

Trig, Gate, Mute, Switch Everything!

Pointeuse has two states. It either connects In/Out to Out/ In I or to Out/In II. You can change its state by pressing a footswitch (via the included adapter expander), the backlit button or by sending a voltage signal into the Trig In input making the module highly interactive and controllable.

Pointeuse behaviour can be momentary (as long as the button is pressed for example) or latching (the signal switches each time the button is pressed).

The switch has a true bi-directional behaviour (2:1 or 1:2).

If no jack is connected to In/Out, a 5V signal will be present alternatively at Out/In I and Out/In II.

Klavis Mixwitch Mixer & CV/Clock-Controlled Switcher Module (black) (attenuator/mixer/polarizer/switch synth module)
Cat: 951655 Rel: 20 Jun 24

Mixer and CV/clock-controlled switcher module - 8HP.
Notes: Mixer & CV/clock-controlled Switcher

Focused versatility seems an oxymoron when describing the features that led to the design of the Mixwitch.

With only a pinch of mixing, inverting and controlled switching, Klavis Electronics brew up a plethora of combinations and uses.

This is voltage processing magic!

The Mixwitch design comes from a frustration with attenuvertors (bipolar attenuators-inverters) whose off (neutral) position is difficult to retrieve, especially in live situations.

Klavis went for a digitally-controlled analogue path where polarity inversion would be at the touch of a button. So, the usefulness of attenuating/inverting can be realized by turning the pot down, swiftly pressing the inversion button and reopening the level. The zero level is where you expect it, with the pot full down.

Once a clean polarity control was established, a mute function was added, offering the benefit of pre-adjusted pot settings ready to be activated at will.

The next step was to bring something extra, useful and creative. There are plenty of analogue switches controlled by a clock; but arbitrarily selecting an input with a voltage is less known. Having both control capabilities combined with Klavis' specific mixer features creates a unique fusion: welcome to the Mixwitch!

Modulaire Maritime Sindikat CV Processor/Buffered Mult/Summing Signal-Mixer Module (black)
Modulaire Maritime Sindikat CV Processor/Buffered Mult/Summing Signal-Mixer Module (black) (attenuator/mixer/multiple/polarizer/switch/utility synth module)
Cat: 803418 Rel: 23 Jun 22

A CV processor, buffered mult & summing signal-mixer module.
Notes: Sindikat is made to be placed in the heart of every modular setup: copy, invert, attenuate, scale, get different polarity versions simultaneously of two pair of mixes, mix CV as well as audio (up to 8 sources in total), mute or switch to add desired source to a bigger unity mix, scale two separate mixes with chosen gain.. All circuits can preserve their independent use and/or be combined!

Details & use:

The module consists of circuits designed to group the most useful operations for signal mingling in modular synth setups -but in the more fun manner!

It is designed in the way that the circuits can function independently -be patched to the other modules- or to be combined inside the module at the same time!

On the top of the module there is a buffered multiple (the bi-color led is indicating signal input and its polarity) : Next to the input there are two outputs giving the exact copy of the incoming signal. On the third output you'll get the 'attenuverted" version of that signal which is controllable by the dedicated attenuator/inverter potentiometer.

This signal can be further added (or muted) via its switch, internally to a unity gain mixer situated on the bottom of the module via its SUMM OUT.

This mixer has its own 3 inputs who will accept CVs as well as audio signals with an output gain of 1/3.

Its bi-color led will indicate the polarity of the incoming signals.

In the center of the module there is a CV Processor consisting of two mixers each mixing two signals- in the way that:
The first one takes two signals (A and B) and outputs simultaneously the positive version of their mix (AB+ OUT) and the negative version (AB- OUT).
Their gain is scaled by the potentiometer: going on 1x in the middle position to 2x fully turned. (After middle position with a stronger signal and due to higher gain it will start to saturate producing an distortion-like effect)
Further, via their switch, those mixes also can be added to a unity gain mix (SUMM OUT) and therefore creating a larger mix.
You'll do that by choosing which polarity output you want to send to a summing mix.
In the middle position of the switch the signal is "off" so you can use this to mute/un-mute the signal in the unity mix. Also, even if it is in "off" position this only breaks the internal link to a unity mix but you can still use their distinctive outputs to send your positive and negative mixes elsewhere in your system.

Goes the same for the second one: C and D inputs giving positive (CD+) output result and negative (CD-) simultaneously , all with gain select and the switch choice for summ positive or negative (or none) to a bigger unity mix.

You can also choose to use those two circuits as a simple attenuators for ex. by patching only one signal so you'll get an attenuator and polarizer at once!

The module can process CV and audio as well in every circuit.

Therefore, by summing eventually all the signals to a final "SUMM OUT" output you can create up to 8 sources -in the module- large mix!

Made for more fun with a modular!

This module fits perfectly well with Modulaire Maritime "Decca" switch-based manual control module.

As these modules are developed from practicing recording in "one take" (same for a live performing), combining them you get an extended control over CVs, gates and audio going on in the system, allowing to switch- stop/mute, change polarity, introduce/mix more gates, drums,.. on the fly.

ADDAC System ADDAC214 VC Rotator Module (black)
Cat: 776199 Rel: 08 Sep 20

VC rotator module
Notes: This is the VC Rotator, a stepped routing module for any type of signal (audio, cv, gate, trigger...)

Similar to a VC switcher but in this case there's the same number of inputs than outputs so, instead of 4 to 1 or 1 to 4, this module is always 4 to 4 but it can be patched for 2 to 2 and 3 to 3 step actions.

All four inputs get routed to the four outputs depending on the CV and Clock controls and are divided into 4 routing steps:
1. routes all inputs to the same number output: 1:1, 2:2, 3:3, 4:4
2. routes all inputs to an offset of 1: 2:1, 3:2, 4:3, 1:4
3. routes all inputs to an offset of 2: 3:1, 4:2, 1:3, 2:4
4. routes all inputs to an offset of 3: 4:1, 1:2, 2:3, 3:4

Direction determines if the clock input goes forward or backwards.
Going forward it can be set to 2-3 or 4 steps using the Rotate knob offset, going backwards always sync to 4 steps even if offseted by the Rotate knob.
For 2 & 3 step action input 1 is normalled to input 3 and input 2 is normalled to input 4.

Reset resets the internal clock to the first step.

Pendulum, external sequencing or any complex CV actions can be achieved using the CV input and dedicated attenuverter.

WMD Sequential Switch Matrix Eurorack Module (black faceplate)
WMD Sequential Switch Matrix Eurorack Module (black faceplate) (eurorack logic/sequencer/switch/utility module)
Cat: 835496 Rel: 05 Jul 21

A 4x4 triggered/CV addressed routing matrix.
Notes: Next-level sequential switch with program storage and mixing built in, allowing you to set up complex switching setups with seriously versatile options. Hard to beat.

Supplier's Notes:
Four inputs, can handle audio and CV. Precision components for pitch accuracy.

The four inputs (rows) are routed with the buttons to output columns.

If multiple inputs are selected simultaneously for an output, they are mixed together at unity gain.

A comparator input is available and each output mix is compared to the signal on the jack. This jack has a 0.5 volt normal.

The LEDs by the buttons indicate that a connection is made.

That's all well and good. The fun part is that each input to output routing matrix is then stored in an array. You can have 16 matrices in each bank. There are four banks available.

The current matrix is shown on the 7 segment display.

The matrix counter can be advanced with a gate signal. Reset with a gate signal. The matrix counter can be offset with CV and an offset knob.

The seven buttons near the top provide additional modes and settings. Red lettering indicates push and hold (1.5 seconds) functionality.

The bank button changes bank with a tap. Saves all matrices and settings with a hold. The save takes about 1.5 seconds. All settings are recalled on power up, but must be saved before power down. This allows you to just save changes you want, and recall patches while retaining the ability to make changes.

TopSet/TopClear - sets the upper matrix in the count for gate step inputs. Hold to clear the limit and allow the matrix to count to 16 (F). LED indicates that the top is set. Decimal point on the 7 segment display will light when the top matrix is selected.

Reset/ClearMatrix - tap to reset the counter to 0. Hold to clear all routing in the selected matrix.

Rnd/RndRcl - tap to randomize the selected matrix. Hold to set the selected matrix to always randomize upon being selected (via CV or gate).

CV Limit to Top - tap to enable and light the LED. When enabled, the CV input and offset will be constrained to the upper matrix. When disabled and a top matrix is set, the CV/Offset will offset the matrix counter. For example, if the top is 3, a gate will count from 0 to 3 and reset. Disabling "CV Limit to Top" will cause CV to offset the start of the count (if offset by 8, then the count will start at 8 and go to 11 (B)). If enabled, the top will always be 3, and the CV can be used to set the starting (lowest) matrix.

Step/Hold - Tap to step the matrix counter. Push and hold to disable CV, gate and reset signals from altering the matrix counter.

Gate Mode - Tap to change the gate modes. Available modes are step up (LED off), Step Down (LED Green), Random (LED Red).

There will be a video version available using LM6172 opamps. Video version will adhere to the LZX specifications. The inputs and outputs will operate at video rates. Routing control will not. Upper frequency of the routing control is TBD, but will run at audio rates.

The DAC 1:2 output is a voltage output (0-5 volts) of the 8 bit combination of the first two columns. This allows the first two channels' routing information (lit LEDs) to be used as a voltage output. (16 step voltage sequencer). This is always operational.

Bi-color LEDs show the amplitude and polarity of input and output signals. Comparator LEDs will be lit when the output is on.

Mystic Circuits TREE Sequential Switch & Gate Sequencer Module
Cat: 875963 Rel: 13 Jul 22

Tree is an advanced sequential switch and gate sequencer.
Notes: Tree is an advanced sequential switch and gate sequencer. With eight positions that yield limitless paths between them, Tree automatically creates new sequences not easily made by hand. The clock, reset, and backwards inputs drive Tree like a normal sequential switch with control over the direction of the sequence, whereas the "shift" inputs temporarily shift the current position of the sequence. Featuring bidirectional inputs and outputs, Tree can also be used as a gate sequencer since the common node is normalled to a high voltage. The Turing Machine expansion port in the back allows for connection of various expanders including our Leaves Expander which allows Tree to be used as a voltage sequencer in parallel to it's sequential switching functionality.

Tree has returned and now comes wearing our new purple and silver panel style. Where LEDs used to protrude through the panel they now sit beneath a window in the PCB that allows light through, diffusing the LEDs and making them easier on the eyes. With our new Leaves Expander sharing the same colour scheme and rainbow LED format, the modules look quite stunning when all in a row.

Patching Panda Particles Trigger Modulation & Pattern Variation Designer Module (silver)
Cat: 931113 Rel: 06 Apr 23

Trigger modulation and pattern variation designer module in 12HP.
Notes: Particles, is 4 channels of trigger modulation, capable of mathematically variating and manipulating your patterns with a combination of features to play with.
It can evolve your rhythmic idea into more complex and groovy patterns which are difficult to achieve without music knowledge.

You can create your algorithms from the rhythmic tools provided to be able to change the patterns instantaneously in many ways without worrying to sacrifice
the original idea.

You can shift and scramble the outputs, you can repeat the triggers with different time signatures to transform the grooves, mute in different ways, disappear by probability trigger inputs, disappear by probability repetitions, use sequential switching to shift randomly with a different kind of resetting, bypass each channel and set it individually the amount of each feature per channel when feeding external CV.
The idea of Particles, was designed to provide features for building complex breaks, grooves, organic-evolving percussion sounds, and different options for
arpeggios, and even bass line grooves, the limits are decided by you.

Particles Features

4 trigger inputs/outs.

Repetitions with different distribution times to choose from.

Manually shift the output channels, scramble them randomly or clocked them in forward mode.

Reset the outputs to 4 different shift modes.

Disappear repetitions by probability per channel.

Disappear the input trigger by probability per channel.

Mute each channel with clock divisions from the input clock.

Mute manually the outputs

Disable triplets from repetitions to have musical patterns

Random voltages output clocked from clock input.

The slider keeps the adjusted value from each feature.

Herzlich 4x4 Switch Matrix Mixer Module
Cat: 1023564 Rel: 30 May 24

4x4 switch matrix mixer module - 8HP
Notes: A 4x4 Matrix Mixer without the pesky knobs that get in your way

Do you like getting... mixed up? Perhaps you will enjoy the new 4x4 Switch Matrix from Herzlich Labs. It's a 4x4 matrix mixer, but not quite like how you usually see them. You see, all the pots are gone from this one, and replaced with switches. A daring innovation from your friends at the Laboratory, and an excellent partner for the the newly released mApnea.

Use it with triggers, gates, CV or, yes, even audio. The Switch Matrix will not be particular about the input, though who can say what output you will get? With neatly arranged rows and columns, this matrix mixer takes up only 8hp, and shimmering LEDs make it easy to determine what's live - and what's not - even in the pitch darkness of your chambers.

Explore what other matrix mixers dare not: developing rhythms, unusual trigger sequences, strange gates and combined LFOs, or patch in audio for the ultimate thrill: that which has no volume control.
