Review: With its' hilarious, capitol-baiting MC vocal sample (lifted, it seems from an obscure early '90s rave recording), Borai's "Anybody From London" has already achieved anthem status in Bristol. It's a perfect example of contemporary, hardcore-influenced house, with spine-tingling chords riding a killer bassline and a pitched-down break peppered with classic jungle style drum edits. There's much to enjoy elsewhere on the double-pack, too, from the jungle-techno stomp of "The Seeeker" and the woozy, hip-house style roll of "OHM Trax", to the heady hardcore revivalism of the wide-eyed, "At Les"-biting "Never As Good". It's something of a departure from Borai - arguably best known for his deep house and techno outings - but undoubtedly his strongest release to date.
