Buchla & TipTop Audio Programmable Pulser Model 242t Module
Cat: 1069585 Rel: 03 Feb 25

Clock generator & clock modulator module - 16hp
Notes: Another iconic Buchla module gets the Eurorack reissue treatment courtesy of TipTop. The 242t is the brand's unique voltage-controlled clock and trigger module, generating pulses based on a 4x12 matrix.

Supplier's Notes:
The Buchla and Tiptop Audio 242t Programmable Pulser is a reissue of the time-event-based generator from the 1970s 200 series. At its center is the Pulser, a voltage-controlled clock oscillator with a wide frequency range, extending up to audio frequencies, numerous outputs, and start/stop controls. The Pulser drives a programmable matrix with three rows of up to 12 stages: (A), (B), and (C). Stages are activated using the X/Y coordinate controls, and the total number of stages can be set using the (n) row. Clock and Reset inputs allow the 242t to sync with other devices, while the Reset input can also be used to control the number of stages with external pulses.

Xaoc Devices Berlin 1989 Numeric Oscillator Module
Cat: 1019439 Rel: 22 May 24

Numeric oscillator module - 8HP
Notes: On the surface, Xaoc Devices Berlin is a simple compact VCO offering square and saw waves with hard sync, FM input and octave switching. The most interesting part lies behind the panel and that is the Leibniz Binary Subsystem interface, namely LBZ out and LBZ in. The front panel LBZ LINK button and its corresponding gate input switch between the default saw wave and a signal that has been passed through any Leibniz module (or a combination of Leibniz modules) connected to Berlin. Add Xaoc Devices Jena for wave processing and the output is no longer a simple saw wave - you now have a vintage-style wavetable oscillator with a penchant for the experimental due to its open, hackable nature.

Berlin operates in a way similar to the classic PPG Wave and Fairlight CMI synths and employs a variable sample rate of an extremely wide-range internal clock. As the sample rate changes with the oscillator frequency, Berlin's internal square and saw waves exhibit no aliasing effect. The whole frequency range spans from 30 seconds in LFO mode up to 250 kHz (!) with the clock reaching an astounding 20 MHz. Add to that voltage control over all parameters and the result is a highly versatile module capable of creating a significantly diverse palette of unusual waveforms. To better understand the device and avoid common pitfalls, it is strongly advised that you read through the entire manual before using the module.

Technical details:

8hp, 30mm deep (including the ribbon cable and bracket)
Current draw: +40mA/-20mA
Reverse power protection

Connectivity:

Berlin connects to all modules compatible with the Leibniz Binary Subsystem: Drezno II, Lipsk, Gera, Jena, Erfurt, Poczdam, Rostock, Ostankino II, and Odessa.

Buchla & TipTop Audio Quad Sample & Hold/Polyphonic Adapter Model 264t Module
Cat: 1069586 Rel: 08 Apr 25

Quad sample & hold, CV modulation module - 18hp
Notes: Part of TipTop's exceptional series of Eurorack-format Buchla modules, the 264t provides four sample-and-hold circuits, plus a logic circuit designed to control polyphonic patches. Deceptively simple but surprisingly creative, like most Buchla modules.

Supplier's Notes:
Four independent sample-and-hold circuits, plus a specialized logic circuit for expediently implementing polyphonic patches.

Sample-and-hold's are essentially one-cell analog memories. They are useful for "remembering" the instantaneous value of a control voltage (a detected envelope, for example), for generating equally spaced steps from a constant slope input (as from a 281t envelope generator), and for converting any continuously changing voltage (a random voltage, for instance) into a series of discrete values.

The 264's sample-and-hold circuits have two operating modes: sample and track. In the sample mode, the value of the input is sampled and applied to the output whenever a pulse is received. The output remains at this value until the next pulse arrives. The track mode diers in that an input is applied to the output for the duration of the pulse. The output tracks the input until the end of the pulse and remains at a constant value until the next pulse.

To use the 264t as four independent channels set the separate/common switch to separate. A single CV can be set to all four channels by setting the operate/common to common and plug CV in the the back jack on the with right side.

The Model 264t includes a polyphonic adaptor, which performs the logic necessary to implement four-voice polyphony. Facilities are incorporated for fine tuning and f.m. modulating the oscillators; light emitters display the adaptor's operation.

Specifications:

Size: 18 HP - Depth: 45mm
Power: +12V 60mA / -12V 30mA

Make Noise Jumbler 6x6 Channel Analogue Signal Combiner & Distributor Module
Cat: 1084227 Rel: 28 Apr 25

Signal combiner/distributor module ideal for hybrid control voltage mashing, complex waveform mixing, on-the-fly effects re-routing, gate and clock re-combinations and more
Notes: Designed for Make Noise's New Universal Synthesizer System but compatible with all Eurorack modules, the Jumbled is a 6-in/6-out VCA-based signal router, designed to manipulate and reimagine control voltage signals.

Supplier's Notes:
The Jumbler music synthesiser module is a six by six channel analogue signal combiner and distributor for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any Eurorack modular synthesiser. Jumble is one of the N.U.S.S. concepts where the routings of a patch could be re-configured, or jumbled, instantly via voltage control to produce variations on a theme.

Jumbler gives you powerful two-parameter access to the rearrangement of both origins and destinations for up to six modular signals. One to six inputs are routed to one to six outputs, in an order determined by the Rotate control, and combination determined by the Radiate control. Unlike a simple switch module, Jumbler's analogue VCA-based design is specially geared for smooth transitions and hybrid signals.

Jumbler is a great module for hybrid control voltage mashing, complex waveform mixing, on-the-fly effects re-routing, gate and clock re-combinations and more. Some folks have said it is like patching a stack of 6 RxMx circuits.

Cosmotronic Messor Stereo Compressor & Transient Shaper Module (silver)
Cat: 995681 Rel: 20 Jun 24

Stereo compressor & transient shaper module - 8HP
Notes: Silver version of Cosmotronic's Messor module, offering stereo compression and transient shaping in just 8 hp. Ideal for mix buss compression, whether full stereo mix or drum/synth submixes.

Supplier's Notes:
Messor is an analogue stereo compressor with lots of tricks up its sleeve, in only 8HP.

From squashing drums, sidechaining kicks and sculpting transients, to glueing a mix together, it's a very versatile dynamics manager.

At its core it's a VCA based feed-forward compressor with a low noise signal path. The magic is in the internal sidechain that shapes the gain reduction envelope. This starts with a a switchable high-pass / low-pass filter, before going into a precision envelope follower, controlled by familiar parameters: the attack, release, threshold, ratio and makeup gain.

The ratio can go past limiting and into over-compression, which can completely reshape transients, a great tool for sound design.

Being modular, of course there are CV inputs for Attack, Release and the side-chain Filter cutoff. The Gain CV controls the makeup gain, but also doubles as a Stereo VCA with the Gain knob turned fully CCW.

The gain reduction envelope is also available as an output, for turning filters or other VCA's into compressors for example, or as a standalone envelope follower.

There's a bypass switch, and a Warm mode, that can bring in a bit of additional saturation and compression in the form of analog tube simulation circuitry.

Lastly there's the possibility to insert an external sidechain, for that classic kick sidechain compression.

Mystic Circuits ANA 2 Analogue Logic Module
Cat: 1010939 Rel: 17 May 24

Analogue logic module
Notes: ANA 2 is a cross modulation powerhouse that derives nine different analogue logic operations in tandem from two input signals. Each input channel features a processing section that attenuverts, adds, or multiplies up to six inputs before being sent to the cross modulation circuits. ANA 2 performs a wide variety of functions including mixing, boolean logic, rectifying, cross-fading, voltage sampling, ring modulating, gate converting, bizarre wave shaping and much more. While you may have seen these functions in individual modules before, ANA 2 combines them all into one place with all of these functions available simultaneously to give you a Swiss army knife utility that is capable of happy accidents.

At its core, ANA 2 is an Analog Boolean Logic Processor. Boolean logic normally takes two binary gate signals and combines them into a single gate signal based on mathematical rules. While the output of a normal boolean logic circuit is always a gate, analogue boolean logic can both process and output any kind of voltage signal. This means that Ana works not only with gates but also modulation, note sequences, and even audio. Whatever type of signal that you feed in is what you will get out of ANA 2. In fact, feeding ANA 2 a combination of different types of voltage signals will give you a weird blend between them. ANA 2 always gives you more than you put in, providing nine related but distinct outputs that can be derived from as little as a single voltage source or even no input at all.

Compared to its predecessor, ANA 2 has three new wave shaping outputs which add everything from simple mixing and multiplexing to completely unique non-linear wave shaping. In addition, ANA 2 adds a pair of "multiplication" CV inputs which control a bipolar VCA acting on each main input. Finally, ANA 2 is a big step up aesthetically with two LED level indicators for each channel as well as much cleaner panel art.

For folks who used the old version of this please be aware that due to the bandwidth limitations of the new VCA chips, ANA 2 DOES NOT WORK FOR VIDEO AT ALL.

ANA 2 Technical Specifications:
Width: 6HP / Depth: 32mm
Power Draw: +V 101 mA, -V 104 mA, 5V not used

Inputs:
Attenuverter Input x2
Multiply Input x2
Sum Input x2

Cosmotronic Delta-V Analogue Dual-Channel Function Generator Module (silver)
Cat: 1034154 Rel: 10 Oct 24

Analogue dual-channel function generator module - 10HP
Notes: Great value dual function generator here. Create envelopes, slew signals, shape modulation and generate LFOs. All with built-in VCAs for each channel. A proper multi-function utility module.

Supplier's Notes:
Delta-V is a fully analogue dual-channel function generator, featuring a dedicated VCA and LFO cycle switch for each channel. It packs a great deal of functionality in only 10HP, and will surely find use in almost every patch.

Generate envelopes, slew gates and signals, or run LFOs with precise control over attack and decay times. Using the SHAPE knob, Delta-v can create a wide range of envelopes, from very snappy exponential curves for percussion to logarithmic thumps for bass lines.

If VCA's input is unpatched, the module outputs a regular voltage envelope. When an audio signal is patched into the VCA input, the output signal becomes the audio signal amplified by the envelope.

Sending other envelopes or an LFO to VCA input lets you modulate those modulators, quickly creating complex control voltages that go beyond the usual attack-decay envelope.

Combine this with the SUM output, which sums the two channels, and the attenuverters, which can quickly attenuate or invert the signal, and you have a whole array of signal processing capabilities.

The TRIGGER input fires a Attack-Decay envelope, while the SLEW input will affect the rate of change of the signal.

The trigger for channel 1 and 2 can be linked together, so you can fire two envelopes with one patch cable.

Each channel has an End of Cycle output, (EOC) this outputs a short trigger at the end of each envelope cycle.

The output voltage ranges from -10 to +10 volts, set with handy output attenuverters.

The CYCLE switch starts looping the envelope, creating LFO's that go up to audio rate, and that can also be used as an interesting sound source.

There are many ways to utilise Delta-V.

Challenge yourself to explore new, unconventional territories!

Frap Tools Bagai Multi-Purpose Thingamabob Module
Cat: 1020313 Rel: 11 Jul 24

Clock burst, sample & hold, audio bitcrush or fluctuating random voltage generator module - 12HP
Notes: Typically creative stuff from Frap Tools, the Bagai offers analogue sample and hold, but crushing and down sampling, but its combination of six interlinked, CV-controlled sections is capable of much more.

Supplier's Notes:
bagai / ba'ga?i / s.m. [modenese dialect, from a late Latin bagagium 'baggage', formed after the late Latin baga, deriving presumably from the Anglo-Saxon bag (see ancient French bague, Provencal bagua, 'bundle'), whose root may be traced down to the Indo-European *pac, 'to tie,' from which also 'package,' 'pact'] - 'thing,' 'thingamabob.' A term used when the actual name of a thing or a person does not come to mind.

A module that is at the same time a clock burst, S&H, audio bitcrush, or fluctuating random voltage generator is indeed a bit elusive to describe in a single word. Even if one tries, some aspects will always be missing.

Why bother, then? Let's just call it "that thingamabob," or better, "that bagai."

Bagai is an analogue sample and hold, bitcrusher, and downsampler for Eurorack systems, also capable of generating clock bursts, fluctuating random voltages, and coloured noise.

It consists of six highly intertwined sections:

A clock with straight and random outputs (yellow)

An analogue noise generator with variable colour (grey)

A bipolar fluctuating random voltage generator (white) with variable rate

A sample and hold the circuit (orange) with selectable time scale, slow for modulation, or fast for audio sampling up to 48 kHz.

An 8-bit quantized version of the orange S&H circuit with variable bit depth (red)

A clock burst section (green).

By default, it outputs bipolar random voltages and triggers. The voltages are fluctuating, stepped, and quantized with selectable bit depth. The clocks are straight, randomized, or "burst."

Once you start patching, you can use it as a S&H, audio downsampler, and bitcrusher, with a sample rate of 48 kHz.

All its major parameters are voltage controllable.

It belongs to the same family as Sapel, with the following differences.

Sample and Hold with an 8-Bit Quantiser

Bagai features two stepped S&H circuits with open input (semi-normalled by default to an analogue noise source).

The quantized one has a LSB selector that defines its bit depth, from 1 to 8 bits.
Random Triggers & Clock Bursts

Besides the well-known "main," "more than," and "less than" modes, Bagai also features a clock burst circuit that creates super fast and unpredictable streams of gates that you can combine with the main clock or to any other trigger you want.

Voltage-Controllable Bitcrusher

When used with audio signals, the 8-bit quantized S&H becomes a warm bitcrusher effect with voltage-controllable bit depth!

Dynamic Downsampler

Bagai's internal clock can switch to an audio rate mode going up to 34 kHz. Patching audio signals into the S&H input will transform Bagai into an analog audio downsampler.

Open Signal Path

Lots of semi-normalled connections allow you to use Bagai in infinite ways: cross-patching has never been this fun.

Start and Stop Controls

You can control both the main clock and the clock bursts via external gates. The main clock also features a button to manually hold it.

Analogue Noise

At Bagai's core is a thermal noise generator that feeds the S&H circuit, creating random voltage streams. The noise output features a knob that changes its colour, emphasizing the high or low frequencies.

Fluctuating random voltages and Global Rate of Change

The feature that was so loved on Sapel, now bipolar and with extended range!

Omni-Tone Rosci Random Waveform Oscillator Module
Cat: 1078505 Rel: 28 Mar 25

Rosci is a digital VCO that generates random waveforms to create unique, rich, and full sounds
Notes: Welcome to the Rosci soundscape. Rosci is a digital VCO that generates random waveforms to create unique, rich, and full sounds. You are able to control how complex the sound is-add harmonics and have a completely unique shape generate using the generate button/trigger. BUT, it can also be tuned to output basic waveforms (sine, square, sawtooth) if you so desire.

Tunable parameters breakdown:

COMPLEXITY: Essentially a generation of unique timbre.
ROUNDNESS: Set the basic shape of your waveform. Go from from sharp to soft sound, similar to filtering.
HARMONICS: Add up to 6 harmonies to your sound. The choir's here.
FORMANTS: Accentuate certain overtones in your sound (like a voice singing "ooo", "ahh", "eee").
DETUNE: Add a classic 'detune' with a changing phase wave for extra wide sound.

How does it work?

It is a pipeline of algorithms, which generates and modifies a waveform starting from top to bottom. Rosci works on a principle of key points: the generate button generates key point location and amplitudes to be passed down the pipeline.

Tunable parameters:

Beginning with complexity, you set the number of key points (even numbers only to create a waveform). Lowest complexity sets two points, and highest complexity sets up to 20 points. The number of key points will vary with each waveform generated. From there, the roundness sets the type of interpolation of the key points, from square to sine. Adjusting the harmonics creates copies of the waveform and adds them to the original waveform at double, triple, ... up to 6x the base frequency. Formants maintains the frequency of the wave, but squishes it so there is 'empty space' in between (this is also called pulsar synthesis). Finally, detune copies the waveform and 'detunes it' by increasing the frequency ever so slightly. And there you have it: a unique Rosci soundscape :)

Current Draw: 160mA@ 12V, 20mA@ -12V.

Cosmotronic Aphelion Stereo Distortion & Low/High Pass Filter Module (black)
Cat: 1049716 Rel: 20 Nov 24

Stereo distortion & low/high pass filter module - 8HP
Notes: Aphelion packs a stereo distortion and low/high pass filter into a compact 8HP design, making it ideal for live performance setups. It features three unique stereo distortions in parallel with a continuous crossfade between them, controlled with the character knob or a cv input.

The first circuit is an overdrive that adds a lot of warmth and fattens up the sound without becoming too harsh.
The second one is a saturating wavefolder, that can add interesting extra harmonics depending on the waveform of the material.
The last distortion is inspired by the classic RAT guitar pedal. It adds an aggressive feel and grit to the sound.

A mix knob lets you blend the dry input signal with the distorted signal, before it hits the filter. Setting it fully dry bypasses the distortion effect.

If you need even more dirt, there's a handy +12dB gain switch, to really drive the inputs into overdrive. If you want to keep your low-end undistorted, you can switch on the Low-cut filter.

The non-resonant. This filter is also overdriven, adding some warm distortion and extra harmonics to the stereo filter combines a low pass and high pass stage, and uses an IC based on the classic SSM2040original signal, and limiting the output level. The cutoff knob has no effect in the centre, turning CCW creates a low pass and CW a high pass effect. It's possible to control the low and high pass filter cores independently using CV.

The filter bypass switch can be used for instant reintroduction of all frequencies into the mix upon release-a great tool for live performers.

Lastly the level knob can be used to attenuate the output.

Sound Study Rings Resonator Module
Sound Study Rings Resonator Module (resonator synth module)
Cat: 1040429 Rel: 14 Nov 24

Resonator module - 14HP
Notes: Rings is a resonator, the essential ingredient at the heart of several physical modeling synthesis techniques. The resonator transforms an external, unpitched excitation audio signal into a full-bodied pitched sound. Rings is the bar, the tube or the bunch of strings you cause to vibrate with a bursty external signal.

Any signal can be fed into the resonator, including envelope clicks, trigger signals, noise bursts, even tonal sounds. It also contains a special "polyphonic mode", where four notes can ring together at the same time. Although it is not truly polyphonic, it adds density and chordal characters to the sounds output. For those wanting the functions of Elements without the losing HP real-estate, Rings is exactly the solution.

Three families of vibrating structures are simulated by the module, with CV control over their parameters:

Strings, membranes and tubes as modelled by Elements' resonator section (modal synthesis).

Strings coupled together and vibrating in sympathy, with controllable intervals between them.

Strings with a variable amount of inharmonicity.

Rings can be configured so that each new note is played on its own virtual string, while the previously played note(s) still decay. This unique take on polyphony allows the module to play strummed chords.

Controls

Number of strings/structures (1, 2 or 4).
Synthesis model (modal, sympathetic strings, string).
Main frequency (quantized in semitones).
Structure. With the modal and string models, controls the inharmonicity of the spectrum (which directly impacts the perceived "material"). With the sympathetic strings model, controls the intervals between strings.
Brightness. Specifies the brightness and richness of the spectrum.
Damping. Controls the damping rate of the sound, from 100ms to 10s.
Position. Specifies at which point the structure is excited.

Inputs and Outputs

Frequency, structure, brightness, damping and position modulation CV inputs with attenuverter (-8V to +8V).

"Strum" trigger input to indicate when a new polyphony voice needs to be allocated. Normalized to an edge detector detecting changes on the main V/Oct input, or sharp transients on the audio input. Detection threshold at 0.6V.

1 V/Oct frequency input (-1V to +5V).

Resonator audio input, normalized to a filtered pulse/noise burst triggered by the "Strum" input (for stand-alone use). Modular level, up to 16Vpp.

Two audio outputs, splitting the signal into even/odd partials in monophonic operation, or even/odd notes in polyphonic operation.

Winterbloom Neptune Resonant Diode Ladder Filter Module
Cat: 1000562 Rel: 18 Jul 24

Resonant diode ladder filter module - 12HP
Notes: The classic diode ladder filter circuit gets a filthy update here from Winterbloom. Separate low-pass and high-pass circuits combine with a feedback-modulated distortion circuit to create bags of nasty character.

Supplier's Notes:
An embrace from the deep, salty ocean, a jetstream of resonance bliss, a chaotic interplanetary voyage to the sounds of our most distant world.

Neptune is a resonant diode ladder filter designed in collaboration with Carson Walls. It's intended to bring together sound and modulation into a complete, distinct synthesizer voice. Unlike typical multi-mode filters with separate modes or outputs, Neptune instead has separate low-pass and high-pass inputs into a single filter core. It's coupled with a feedback-modulated distortion circuit called salt that opens up a wide range of tonal possibilities from tame to dirty to outright chaotic.

Neptune is not like its silky-smooth cousins- it's a wild, out of this world filter that exhibits delightfully strange behavior as you push its parameters to their limits.

Omni-Tone Beatsi Compact 5 Piece Drum Voice Module
Cat: 1078601 Rel: 28 Mar 25

Inspired by classic modular drum synthesis which uses the fundamental building blocks, Beatsi’s timbres were created using the same methods, only digitally
Notes: Beatsi is Omni-Tone's love letter to modular drums! Inspired by classic modular drum synthesis which uses the fundamental building blocks, Beatsi's timbres were created using the same methods, only digitally. Beatsi is not a sample player or a physical modeller, and it's meant to be that way.

Beatsi's interface allows for control over individual piece Timbre, Pitch, Decay, and Level. The timbres are organized into 3 kits: an orange (acoustic) kit, a blue (low-fi) kit, and a green (alien) kit. Within these kits the timbres blend smoothly into one another allowing for seamless modulation. Beatsi has two CV modulation inputs which are assignable to any and all parameters with individual attenuversion. Beatsi may be small, but it packs a serious punch.

Patching Panda Hatz V3 Complex Analogue Hi-Hat Module
Cat: 1059501 Rel: 09 Dec 24

Analogue Hi-Hat Module - 10HP
Notes: Hi-hats are typically rich in complex, inharmonic frequencies that create a metallic, shimmering sound. Hi-hats rely heavily on noise components to create the "sizzle" effect. While analog circuits can generate white or colored noise using transistors or diodes, it's difficult to get the noise characteristics exactly right for hi-hats. Designing a noise source that consistently produces the correct quality and amount of noise can require fine-tuning and careful component selection. Hi-hats need a very quick attack and controlled decay to emulate the sharpness of a real cymbal. In analog circuits, achieving precise control over these fast transients is challenging.

Hatz v3 has an analog circuit including 2 types of noises; "Metals" generates stable, high-frequency square wave oscillations, which are essential for the metallic, bright tone characteristic of hi-hats. "Texture" generates a unique, digital form of noise that has a slightly "stepped" quality, adding a texture that's not as smooth as white noise but offers a desirable grit.

Independent envelopes for precise transient shaping, and a bandpass filter for frequency control contributes to a complex, high-quality hi-hat sound. This design approach provides flexibility, realism, and tonal richness that elevates the hi-hat beyond basic analog percussion.

Herzlich 4x4 Switch Matrix Mixer Module
Cat: 1023564 Rel: 30 May 24

4x4 switch matrix mixer module - 8HP
Notes: A 4x4 Matrix Mixer without the pesky knobs that get in your way

Do you like getting... mixed up? Perhaps you will enjoy the new 4x4 Switch Matrix from Herzlich Labs. It's a 4x4 matrix mixer, but not quite like how you usually see them. You see, all the pots are gone from this one, and replaced with switches. A daring innovation from your friends at the Laboratory, and an excellent partner for the the newly released mApnea.

Use it with triggers, gates, CV or, yes, even audio. The Switch Matrix will not be particular about the input, though who can say what output you will get? With neatly arranged rows and columns, this matrix mixer takes up only 8hp, and shimmering LEDs make it easy to determine what's live - and what's not - even in the pitch darkness of your chambers.

Explore what other matrix mixers dare not: developing rhythms, unusual trigger sequences, strange gates and combined LFOs, or patch in audio for the ultimate thrill: that which has no volume control.

Thorn Audio VC LFO Voltage Controlled Low Frequency Oscillator Module (black)
Cat: 1031826 Rel: 12 Jul 24

Voltage controlled low frequency oscillator module - 12HP
Notes: The core idea behind this module is all about control voltage. Hence all features are individually broken out to CV inputs, making the most use possible of the benefits of the digital wavetable oscillator. This means that the design is geared towards allowing hands-off control of all aspects and some concessions have been made to that effect.

Initial setup basically consists of connecting the power cable to the module and your bus. The cable has a slotted socket for correct orientation, but mind that the red stripe faces the white line on the edge of the PCB. The included screws are nylon in order to minimise rack-rash.

Tuning the module is possible by adjusting the small SMD trim potentiometer on the back. It adjusts the offset voltage that affects the centre point of the LFO oscillations. It should be close to its three o'clock position, but you can adjust it by turning the module on, reducing the output level to almost zero and turning the trim potentiometer until you find the point where the gate output led just barely turns off.

The LFO sync type is hard sync, meaning that it resets the current cycle to the beginning of the waveform. It does not control the duration of the cycles. This allows you to further shape the output to, say, three quarters of a sinewave by using external sync and adjusting the HZ knob so the duration of a cycle is just a little longer than the time between incoming sync pulses.

Colour coded nuts indicate the type of jack, with gold representing Gate/Trigger input, black is +-5v CV inputs and red jacks are outputs.

The CV inputs are scaled down to +-2.5v and added/subtracted with the knob setting, meaning that to sweep the full range of the parameter with CV, the knob should be in centre position. The inputs are clipped to the allowed range after mixing, so you can apply any eurorack voltage here.

The module's core processor is socketed, so using a simple PIC programmer and some basic Assembly knowledge you can modify its functionality to suit your needs.

The code is written by Electric Druid who supplies me the chips preprogrammed.

Fully voltage controllable Eurorack format, externally syncable, 16 waveform low frequency oscillator with built-in VCA and sample & hold.
Powered by a socketed VCLFO10 IC from Electric Druid.

Suitable for precision modulation, live performance as well as educational purposes.

Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box damaged, product unused & in perfect condition***

Really impressive sequencing module with a few clever tricks up its sleeve. Eight tracks of CV/gate with built-in effects (quantise, swing, arpeggiator, etc) for processing MIDI or CV inputs. Real-time recording, step sequencing, looping and much more.

Supplier notes:
Hermod brings together a powerful step sequencer, a CV looper, a real-time effect processor, LFO generators and a complete bi-directional MIDI-USB-CV input/output interface.

Record a performance at any time thanks to the CV inputs, the USB HOST, the USB DEVICE and the MIDI input. Create and edit your tracks with the STEP mode and its piano roll and automation view. Generate crazy patterns with the randomization tool.

Hermod is polymetric, it means that each track can have a different length, from 1 step to 64 steps. Moreover, you can zoom in to increase the resolution of the step sequencer (up to 512 steps).

Polymorphic tracks:

Thanks to Hermod architecture, a track can be a simple mono CV/GATE voice, but can be easily configured as a polyphonic track (up to 8 voices), a CV/GATE + velocity + aftertouch track, a modulation + clock track... in order to perfectly fit your Eurorack system!

Sequences and Projects:

The 8 tracks are grouped into one of Hermod's 8 sequences. Every sequence is totally independent and contains a new set of tracks to be played with, for a total of 64 tracks in a single project.

Dynamic effects:

All the fun in Hermod resides in its effect system, allowing you to transform input signals, whether it's MIDI or CV. You can stack on each track up to 8 real-time effects: Quantize, Swing, Arpeggiator, Ratchet, Random, Euclid, Glide, Harmonizer, Delay, Chance, Scale, LFO... Experiment with the effects position and parameters to generate eccentric melodies!

MIDI-USB-CV interface:

Full connectivity: control Hermod with plug-and-play midi USB devices, midi keyboards, computers or other Eurorack CV systems.

Hermod is also a great midi hub, allowing you to sequence midi synthesizers/drum machines and computer's virtual instruments. Of course, Hermod can be perfectly paired with Pyramid or other hardware and software sequencer, in order to benefit from its CV/GATE outputs.

With Hermod's rock-solid clock, this module becomes a great synchronization tool for all your setup! Thanks to its powerful CPU, even when synced/slaved, Hermod allows an ultra-low latency to make the perfect link between the digital world and the analog world.

Dnipro qTone Dual Channel Voltage Quantizer Module
Cat: 1006240 Rel: 19 Dec 24

2-channel voltage quantizer module - 6HP
Notes: A smart, user-friendly approach to quantising here. The qTone offers two channels with standard features like definable scales, plus more advanced creative options including glide, offset and transposition.

Supplier's notes:
qTone is a module that precisely transforms any kind of voltages into musical notes. Take the LFO, a Random source, or the Sequencer outputs, send them through the quantizer to your oscillator or synth voice, and enjoy perfectly tuned melodies.

It has a bank of 16 user-defined scales that can be easily edited, and automatically saved into memory. qTone saves every change into EEPROM so you can be sure to get back to the last state after power on.

Both channels can work independently with their own scale each, or with a common scale as well. Aside from the Scale, it is possible to set Glide, Offset, and Transpose parameters. The Glide parameter performs a smooth portamento between quantized notes. Offset shifts an input CV up or down, which works as an offset before quantizing, while the Transpose parameter shifts a scale after quantizing by semitones.

The 2 CV inputs are freely routable to any parameter in the CV menu. qTone works with unipolar or bipolar signals, in the range from -5 to +5 volts.

Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Performance oriented Sample Drum brings you two independent drum sounds or loops with plenty of manual and CV controlled parameters. Samples are stored on the microSD card, and OLED screen makes working with samples instant and easy.

Sample Drum allows you to slice up loops directly in your modular system and rearrange them to taste. For processing, there are tuning functions (including 1 v/octave pitch tracking) and virtual VCAs plus AD envelopes. Thanks to the module's dual-channel concept, two loops can be combined. It is also possible to load one-shot samples instead of entire rhythms, of course. A total of six CV inputs guarantees lively results.

Sample Drum is composed of two identical audio players. WAV files (including cue points) are fed to the module via a micro SD card. Loops can be cut into several sections using the Data, Start and End potentiometers. The resulting slices may be played back in any order imaginable. A tune control allows real-time pitch changes. Additionally, there is a virtual VCA plus AD envelope per slice. - But that's not all! There are three CV inputs per channel, which can be routed to any parameters. It is even possible to play sounds according to the 1 v / octave standard. Results are emitted via one output per player.

Intellijel Scales Dual Channel Note Quantizer & Sequencer Module (B-STOCK) (digital/quantizer/sample & hold/sequencer synth module)
Cat: 1065097 Rel: 01 Jan 90

Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Scales is an 8hp dual-channel note quantizer and step sequencer. Fundamentally, it takes an input voltage, quantizes it to notes in a user-defined scale, and sends that quantized voltage to an output, where you can use it as a melodic pitch source for oscillators or any other module that expects to see discreet note values at its input.

Scales goes far beyond the fundamental, allowing you unprecedented control of the pitches and intervals hiding inside your control voltages; turn LFO's into arpeggiators; random voltages into harmonic counterpoint; and unquantized external CV sequencers into chromatically tuned note sequencers.

Quantization can be locked to an incoming trigger. There are a number of trigger output options as well, ranging from no triggering (good for pitch shifting drones); through triggers that sync with either of the two outputs (or both); to a trigger or gate transmitted in sync with one sent to the module's TRIG input.

Shift:

Scales features two independent outputs, enabling you to create shifted harmonic intervals within your chosen scale using only a single pitch input. Using the SHIFT input you can modulate changes on OUT A and/or OUT B.

You can also use the shift input to switch between scales or to change the root of any existing scale pattern or split Scales into two quantizers - each conforming to a common scale, but fed entirely different voltage sources.

Sequence:

Scales also features a 128-step SH-101 style step sequencer (complete with storage for up to 35 fully programmable patterns) - allowing you to feed OUT B with sequenced notes and rhythm patterns, while OUT A continues to function as a standard pitch quantizer for external voltages. You can even sync the sequencer to quantizer events on OUT A.

B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order***

The classic diode ladder filter circuit gets a filthy update here from Winterbloom.

Another really interesting physics-based module from ADDAC, the Swell models ripples in a body of water, translating the height of imaginary buoys into control voltage signals to create an organic, fluid modulation source.

Supplier's Notes:
Following ADDAC's ADDC503 Marble Physics here is a new simulation of a physical system. This time, imagine a small area in the middle of the ocean, in this area we place 4 equally spaced buoys anchored to the bottom in such a system that we can control the spacing between the buoys. Imagine we can control the elements and agitate the waters at will which in turn will make the buoys move up and down as the water surface moves.

Finally imagine the buoys would wirelessly transmit their absolute height directly to your module outputs where they would be mapped to a voltage signal.

ADDAC use a Gerstner Wave as the motor behind the two-dimensional wave generation. In fluid dynamics a Gerstner Wave is described as "a progressive wave of permanent form on the surface of an incompressible fluid of infinite depth". Gerstner waves are often used in computer graphics to simulate any type of water surface, if you've seen any animation film or computer game with water surfaces in it most probably it features a Gerstner wave generating it.

Clatters Garden Listener Random Control Messages Generator Module
Cat: 1039362 Rel: 03 Dec 24

Random control messages generator module from biometric signals - 8HP
Notes: The Garden Listener is a random control messages generator from biometric signals. It detects conductivity variations on living beings' surface and transforms them into MIDI notes, ranging from C-1 to C8, and CV signals (0 - 5V). Its behaviour can be tamed through the one-knob menu from which you can choose and modify:

probes' sensitivity (making it more or less sensitive to current variations);
scale (chromatic, major, minor, Indian and Arabic);
MIDI channel (from 1 up to 16);
LEDs' brightness.

Conductivity variations are detected by the Probes Input and converted into MIDI notes in real time according to the Main menu settings. Each MIDI note exits through the MIDI output, allowing you to take advantage of the sound of either any synthesizer equipped with a MIDI port or any VST in your DAW, and gets converted into an analogue signal.

Trigger and Gate are fired every time a new note is generated, their voltage output can be modified with the respective attenuator (0 - 5V).

All the MIDI notes are converted into variable voltages (0 - 5V) depending on their pitch and exit through the CV output (1V/oct).

The CV output behaviour can be modified via the Octave Selector which acts as a "CV equalizer" from which you can choose to generate CV only if the respective MIDI note lies within a certain octave range.

For once, leave those LFOs alone, and let any living conductive being modulate your signals.

The module comes with 3.5mm white probes and a set of snap-on adhesive reusable electrode pads. A MIDI-TRS type A adapter (not included) is required for the MIDI output.

The module requires calibration for a proper 1V/oct output.

Notes: ***B-STOCK: Product with some signs of usage but in perfect working order***

A Juno-inspired oscillator module? We're flattered, but credit has to go to Roland for this one. Based on the Juno-106's digitally-controlled analogue oscillators, the Castor & Pollux modernises the 80s design with a built-in LFO and hard sync.

Supplier's Notes:
Twins that dance in and out of phase, never completely together but never fully apart, bound to each other in the infinite universe.

Castor & Pollux is a dual oscillator that echoes back to the legendary Roland Juno but shines with its own unique, massive voice. It contains two digitally-controlled analogue oscillators implemented using a faithfully modernized version of the original Juno 106 design. It builds on the classic '80s sounds of its inspiration by using the second oscillator and internal LFO to layer in thick detuned sounds and harmonically complex hard synced waveforms.

Castor & Pollux II brings a redesigned interface and moves individual waveform outputs to an included expansion. Both versions have the same features and use the same firmware.

SetonixSynth Shaka 8 Voltage Controlled Stereo Matrix Mixer Module
Cat: 1062991 Rel: 21 Feb 25

The Shaka-8 Eurorack module uses high-quality stereo VCAs with all-analogue signal paths to create a powerful, intuitive, and performance-ready solution for routing audio between stereo (or mono) oscillators, samplers, effects and more
Notes: The Shaka-8 Eurorack module uses high-quality stereo VCAs with all-analogue signal paths to create a powerful, intuitive, and performance-ready solution for routing audio between stereo (or mono) oscillators, samplers, effects and more.

The Shaka-8 operates in much the same way as a typical stereo audio matrix mixer, with the send level of each input to each output controlled by the corresponding knob, and the resulting "mix" being a sum of the knob settings in each column, added to the CV input corresponding to each knob.

Even better, you can easily chain Shaka-4 expanders to a main Shaka-8 unit to create matrices of 4x3, 4x4, or even more! Each channel has the same high quality signal path as the main unit. Now you can send stereo audio to all the effects you like!

Some patch ideas

Basic Effects Send/Return: Patch an Audio Output channel to the Audio Input of an effect such as a delay or reverb, and patch the fully Wet output of the effect to an Audio Input of the Shaka-8. Patch up to three audio signals to the other inputs of the Shaka-8. Use the knobs and CV inputs for each audio signal to control the send level to the effect, and use the knob and CV input between the effects module's input and output to control feedback amount.

Parallel filtering: Patch a stereo filter in an "effects loop" style as detailed in the previous patch idea. Turn up the resonance or use feedback to create interesting spectral content related to the main audio inputs.

Stereo Amplitude Modulation: Patch a stereo audio signal to an input audio channel and feed a simple audio-rate oscillator waveform to the CV input, then monitor the output. Adjust the Initial knob to offset the CV signal for best response.

Vintage Synth Lab VCF74 MK2 Analog Voltage Controlled Filter Module (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1030894 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

The VCF-74 is a 14HP voltage controlled filter in Eurorack format. VCF-74 features a dual analogue high-pass and low-pass filter, cascaded (series, from HP > LP). The discrete diode filter circuit is inspired by the 1970s Univox Mini-Korg synthesizer's "Traveller" filter section which provides warm, organic sound to your modular system. However, this design was not only adapted for Eurorack, but is feature enhanced for a wide array of possible filter characteristics.

A stage boost switch allows you to drive the 2nd filter section (Low-Pass) with a +5.3dB signal boost from the High-Pass output signal creating a warm saturation and varied resonance to signal ratio/dynamics. Independent manual resonance controls per filter section allows you to fine-tune a wide variety of focused sound. Input and Output level controls allow you to optimize dynamic range, including how hard you drive the filter--which drastically changes the dynamic interplay between signal and harmonic resonance. Both High-Pass and Low-Pass circuits have independent cutoff controls. Independent CV inputs for cutoff and resonance of each filter section, and attenuation/gain for CV to cutoff provide superior control over filter behaviour. The VCF-74 can be set up as a Low-Pass, High-Pass, or Band-Pass filter. Width of the Band-Pass can be adjusted by simply dialling in the offset controls appropriately.

What are the changes for the new MK2 version of VCF-74?

- The faceplate will look exactly the same, except the addition of "MK2" nomenclature screen printed
- The audio signal path will have slightly lower frequency response as a result of component value changes
- The audio signal path will now use fewer coupling capacitors (more direct-coupled circuits mean better performance, less slewing).
- Added buffer circuits at the input and final filter-to-output stage (which will improve performance)
- Added calibration trim-pots for resonance control.
- Revised "local" power supply filtering scheme to improve PSR for the discrete (Class-A) filter stages.
- Added ESD protection (ESD suppressor diodes) to each front panel jack.
- Changed power inlet header from 16P to 10P.
- Widened range for LOW PASS cutoff control

Note: Depth is now 29mm (current draw is the same as 41mA for +12V, and 48mA for -12V

4ms Sampler Mono/Stereo Triggered Sampler Module (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1050914 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Great value from 4ms's twist on the Stereo Triggered Sampler module, this time capable of playing and manipulating stereo or mono WAV files from an SD card.

Supplier's Notes:
The Sampler is a variation of the Stereo Triggered Sampler.

Record, play and loop stereo .wav files with an SD Card. Includes the same 2022 Sampler Pack from the Stereo Triggered Sampler.

Features:

The Sampler plays stereo or mono .wav files from an SD Card. Samples are arranged into banks by placing .wav files into folders (each folder is a bank). A maximum of 10 samples can be loaded in a bank. There is a maximum of 60 banks (600 samples maximum total).
Sample files are limited to 4GB each, which is over 6 hours at 44k/16b/stereo.

Hundreds of samples included on microSD card
Extremely quiet, low noise and low jitter design
Stereo or Mono output

A knob and CV jack selects the Sample to play, and the Start Position knob and CV jack control where in the sample playback will begin. The Length knob and CV jack determine how much of the sample is played back: from tiny grains, to percussive hits, to longer loops... or just the entire file.

Pressing Play or firing a trigger into the Play Trig jack will play the sample. Holding the Play button down for a second will toggle looping.

There's also a Reverse button and jack for backwards playback, and an End Out jack for synchronizing loops, or cascading sample playback with other events.

To record samples, hold Play and Reverse for two seconds. Press Play again or fire a trigger into the Play/Rec Trig jack to start and stop recording. Each recording will create a new stereo 48kHz 24bit .wav file in the current bank's folder. Recordings can be as long as your card has the capacity for: a 256GB card is 18 days of continuous recording (432.9 hours). Audio data is split into maximum 4GB wav files on the microSD card.

Play button/trigger jack: Tapping the button or receiving a trigger starts/re-starts the sample
Sample CV/knob: select which sample within the channel's bank
Pitch CV and Pitch knob: playback pitch (-10 to +4 octave range)
Start Pos CV/knob: position in the sample to begin playback (loop start point)
Length CV/knob: playback time (loop end point)
Length knob at max: entire file is played
Length knob 50%-99%: 200ms - 5s of the sample is played (beginning at the Start Position)
Length knob <50%: Percussive decay envelope is applied to the playback (attack-only envelope if playing Reverse)
Length <1%: Tiny grains are played (can be used to sweep through sample file data manually)
Reverse button/jack: toggles forward/backwards
Bank button: selects channel's bank
Reverse + Start Pos button/knob combo allows for setting volume of playback
Maximum file size for playback: 4GB per file (6.7 hours per file at 44.1kHz/16b/stereo)
microSD Card is hot-swappable when Busy light is off: no power-down required to change cards.
Samples that are pre-loaded into memory can continue playing while card is swapped.

File Organization:

Using a computer, the intuitive automatic bank loading features make dragging and dropping your entire sample library a snap. No files need to be renamed. Just create folders and put up to 10 samples in each. If you want a folder to be associated with a particular colour of the Bank button, name the folder a colour name (such as "Blue - Loops").

Ships with a high-speed 16GB microSD card, loaded with hundreds of samples created for 4ms, from musicians such as Richard Devine, Wobbly, Moor Mother, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Joseph Pailo, Russell E.L. Butler, Hugo Paris & Marc Kate, Paul Barker, Baseck, Animal Collective, Cristian Vogel, Jay E, Marcus Fischer, Chris Carter, Daedelus, Nero Bellum, Anna Sitko, Thomas Fang, Bogdan Raczynski, and more (Sample List)

Intuitive bank/colour organization system; no need to rename your wav files
Record new samples directly to a bank with the Record Input jacks...
... or drag your folders of sound files onto the microSD card, and each folder will become a bank.
Folders starting with a colour name will be loaded into that colour bank
Example "Blue - Frooty Loops" will load into the Blue bank
Sub-folders are ignored, only folders in the root directory are scanned for wav files
Works best with UHS Speed Class 3 cards with |3| symbol printed on the card

After Later Audio Keanu Matrix Mixer & Function Generator Module
Cat: 1048727 Rel: 18 Oct 24

4x4 matrix mixer & voltage controlled amplifier module
Notes: Keanu is a partnership with Tim Held and Podular Modcast. At its core, Keanu is a standard 4x4 matrix mixer and VCAs on each output and switch to choose between unipolar or bipolar controls. After Later have also added modulation sources normalled into each channel. So you get some great modulation variety, but can also mix in your external sources.

Channels 1 & 2 CVs are clockable looping function generators with controls for rise/fall lengths, and equipped with end of rise/fall trigger outputs.

Channels 3 & 4 are each a "meandering" voltage source, created by 3 LFOs that are all at different frequencies. There are 3 CV inputs (total) to control their individual rates. You can also add slew to each channel individually to change the oscillators from square to triangle, and this slew also applies to external voltages sent into their channel.

Intellijel Flurry Clock/Random Pulse Source Module (B-STOCK)
Intellijel Flurry Clock/Random Pulse Source Module (B-STOCK) (clock generator/envelope follower/noise/random/sample & hold/slew limiter/utility synth module)
Cat: 1037802 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

A multi-purpose module designed to combine noise and modulation sources, slew, sample-and-hold, envelope following and more. Extremely versatile way to add randomness and controlled movement to patches.

Supplier's Notes:
Flurry collects and connects a number of practical modular synthesis tools, focused on clocks, noises, and randomness to create a module that is rife with opportunities for exploration and experimentation. Equally capable as a synthesis source, modulator, clock, or signal modifier; It is bound to find a way to bring new life and dimensions to your synth patches.

Core Functions:

A clock and random pulse source with adjustable and modulatable rate
Accurate pink and white noise sources
Analogue sample & hold and track & hold circuits with very low droop
Analogue slew with adjustable slew time and edge selection (rising edge, falling edge, or both)
Envelope follower
16 noise synthesis algorithms, each with 2 parameters.

One of Flurry's more interesting aspects is its collection of digital noises, which provide a wealth of interesting noises, suitable for either audio or modulation purposes. Each noise type has its own pair of unique parameters to further dial in the desired characteristics, with the primary parameter under CV control.

Most people consider noise to be "undesirable," and product developers expend great effort to design circuits that minimize noise. So why make a module designed specifically to create noise?

Indeed, unwanted noise is undesirable. But not all noise is unwanted. Synthesizing the sound of wind or waves are a couple of the more obvious uses for a noise generator, but the possibilities go far beyond. The crack of a snare hit; the breathiness of a flute sound; an added sizzle to a resonant pad - all are within the sonic domain of noise.

But noise has many other benefits beyond simply being heard. Noise happens to make a wonderful modulator. When noise is used to modulate a filter's cutoff frequency, or an oscillator's pitch or pulse width, then all sorts of raspy, buzzy, gritty timbres are obtained.

Noise is also a key ingredient in sample & hold circuits - a technique most commonly used to generate stepped, random voltages. The circuit works by sampling an input signal's voltage each time you send it a clock pulse, and holding that voltage until the next clock pulse. So, naturally, Flurry also contains the requisite clocking tools! Two of the most common destinations for the S&H output are a filter's cutoff frequency (creating stepped, clocked timbral changes), and oscillator pitch (which produces random notes at clocked intervals).
Of course, you might not always want your voltages to change so abruptly at each clock pulse. Maybe you'd prefer they wobble about gradually and with more grace? To do that, you need a slew circuit, and once again Flurry has you covered - allowing you to select not just the slew time, but also whether the slew is applied to rising voltages, falling voltages, or both. A flick of the switch, and that Slew circuit becomes an envelope follower, enabling Flurry to generate envelopes from input signals (syncing to drum hits are a common use).

With all these features, plus the ability to create random pulses, clock to external pulses, and perform more esoteric track & hold duties, Flurry is a noise lover's toolbox.

Cosmotronic Aphelion Stereo Distortion & Low/High Pass Filter Module (silver)
Cat: 1049719 Rel: 20 Nov 24

This feature enables signal muting and amplitude limitation when multiple signals are triggered simultaneously. The amplitude and decay time of each signal are influenced by others in the same group. This characteristic can lead to captivating pattern variations when focusing on specific channels.

Expandable Capability: By linking two modules, you can expand the effect of the mute group to accommodate up to eight signals, fostering intricate interactions and captivating sonic landscapes.

AM Sound Creation: Connect audio rate signals to the level input to explore the creation of AM (Amplitude Modulation) sounds, further extending the sound design possibilities.

Envelope outs: Each envelope's polarity can be inverted using dedicated switches on the front panel, enabling you to achieve effects like side-chain compression and ducking. Moreover, the mute group circuit's influence extends to the envelope signal output, providing intriguing modulation capabilities that add a unique layer of creative expression to your sonic endeavours.

Flame Ton Melody Looper Module
Flame Ton Melody Looper Module (modular synthesiser)
Cat: 973767 Rel: 21 Jun 24

Duophonic melody looper & quantizer module - 12HP
Notes: Really nice melody sequencer module from Flame. Create patterns and then modify them using features like note repeats, transposing options or even the built-in distance sensor.

Supplier's Notes:
"TON" is a 12HP wide Eurorack live sequencer module for creating two note sequences. There are two 1V/octave outputs with GATE/NOTE/VELOCITY. Notes can also be sent via MIDI. Both note tracks are independent of each other and can be used in different octave spreads. In addition to the analog connection, the module has full MIDI functionality. It can be synchronized via analogue clock or via MIDI.

The sequencer is designed as a looper. It plays a pattern of up to four bars in a loop. The notes can be played (or deleted) quantized with two buttons. One button is used for note repeats, another for setting individual events. The pitch is determined by either the potentiometer or the built-in distance sensor. The sensor works in a range of about 1 to 40 cm and is independent of extraneous light. Even bright sunlight does not affect it.

A 1-octave mini-keyboard allows transposing on the fly and setting a scale. Since the module has two CV inputs, it can also be used as a two-channel quantizer or arpeggiator. All settings of the current pattern are simply saved together in a patch. There are 5 banks with 7 seats each (per mini-keyboard) available. This allows up to 35 patterns to be managed. The patches can also be selected via CV or MIDI program change and can be saved and reloaded on the fly.

The pattern can be manipulated during and after the import with eg: gate length, velocity, random, last step, hold, mute, glide, scale and transposition. Both tracks can have different settings. With TRACK-Link, however, parameters can also be applied to both tracks at the same time. This is helpful, for example, with transpositions or duophonic playing.

Thorn Audio VC LFO Voltage Controlled Low Frequency Oscillator Module (silver)
Cat: 1032067 Rel: 12 Jul 24
